😠 I ordered this place for the first time. It's too bad to buy it for $45. Noodle is pressed and turned into a rice cake and the sauce is very small compared to Noodle so I'm thinking if I should throw this away. The chicken ketchup in the picture is oil-soaked and is a food before giving money. I'm r... People often mention noodles, good, ordered, chicken, rice, hand, experience,

Love the hand pulled noodles! We got vegetarian hand pulled noodles, salad rolls, and baby bok choi. The salad rolls and the peanut sauce that came with it tasted good but slightly underwhelming. The salad rolls consisted of primarily lettuce with carrots and tofu. It's a simple recipe which tastes fine but doesn't stand out. The noodles on the hand are great. They're thick, soft, and a little chewy. The bok choi tasted how I expected but it complimented the noodles well. The food came out quickly and the staff was friendly. I would recommend this if you are craving some hand pulled noodles.

Loved their food. Was looking for a place like this since I got to Portland. Their ingredients are fresh, and noodles ate house made. Loved their fried rice as well. Big portions! Must try their signature Stir-Fried Handmade Noodles with Pork Belly. The ONLY thing I get when I come here.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of takeout at a restaurant that I can confidently say was the worst food place I have ever visited. unfortunately, my expectations were met with a plate full of pure garbage. Let's start with the chicken. I'm no culinary expert, but I'm pretty sure chicken is not supposed to be white. It lacked any sort of color or flavor, resembling something closer to a chewy, tasteless piece of rubber. It was not only unappetizing, but also a clear indication of the poor quality of ingredients used in this establishment. If that wasn't enough to make me lose my appetite, the shrimp sealed the deal. The moment I bit into one, I was greeted with a nauseating taste that can only be described as old and spoiled. The texture was slimy and off-putting, leaving me with a lingering regret for even attempting to give this place a chance. I cannot stress enough how strongly I advise against anyone considering dining at this establishment. The overall experience was just gross, and the quality of the food was abysmal. It is clear that no attention is paid to ingredient freshness or culinary expertise. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a satisfying meal. This place is a definite miss in every aspect, and I wouldn't wish this dining experience upon my worst enemy.

3.5 stars but gave 4: Gen. Tso Chicken was so tasty!! Pork - hand drawn noodles = good!! (Be sure to order at 3/4 spice level) Tea = As Ted Lasso said, flavored brown water 👎 Improvements: * Food was not hot, warm at best * Service staff = ok, not super friendly * In winter, constant open door will cool your food instantly. Overall = good food. 3.5 Stars Will I come back, Yes!

Super fast service and I was able to eat outside. This place has the freshest and softest noodles I've ever had. They have varying spice levels but even the hottest isn't that spicy. My food came out in less than 5 minutes.

Pros : The food is good plenty flavorful; Cons I got 2 dishes and one came with a hair in the soup i immediately lost my appetite. Management decided to make me pay for one of the dishes instead of comping the meal. I don’t need free food but after serving contaminated food, it’s the least you could do for your customer. Based on that I felt like they have an unethical business practice.

Go to spot for delicious Chinese food! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! So far, the only spot that does Salt Pepper Squid right! Less than a 10 minute wait, even when busy. Highly recommend!

I was really excited to see and eat at this place because a colleague recommended it. However, my personal experience was very disappointing. Franks Noodle House is known for making their noodles onsite, which they have a huge window you can look into and see the chef doing so. The business was clean walking in and smelled really good-I was hopeful. Service was extremely quick, but there were seven of us and our food didn’t all come out at the same time. I ordered the chicken noodles and ordered it to be a level 3 spice out of 4. However I only got four pieces of shredded bland chicken (the menu states the chicken is marinated) and no flavor or spice at all in my dish with non existent veggies. I ended up only taking four bites and was so disappointed. The server never came to check in on us to ask how everything was-if she had I would’ve kindly let her know what was wrong. Instead when she noticed I stopped eating she brought a box and the check. I did not box up my meal, and I noticed a gratuity was already charged, no where was this on the menu or posted. I understand over a certain number of members in a party some business enforce this but it was not posted anywhere, that I could see. Nonetheless, I will not be returning. Not worth the 20 dollars for a single meal. Hope those reading this have a better experience than I did.

Never ate at this place before... Had always drove past it while going to Popeyes with a friend. So finally decided to go in. The place was wonderful. The smells from all the wonderful food that was cooking was just incredible. We were seated next to the window. Unfortunately this place has no booth seating (which I prefer) but anyways we looked the menu up and down I finally decided on Kung Pao Chicken (I ask for extra peanuts Everytime I order that dish) and then you have a choice of a side of noodles or rice which costs extra. So I got the steamed white rice. Which I think costs an extra 2 dollars. And I ordered some Spring Rolls for the appetizer. They serve a nice bottle of water at the table along with the cups for you to have. The bottle of water was about the size of a wine bottle but I'm pretty sure you could get refills if you needed more. But we had plans to get coffee afterwards so we decided to just drink the water. And so the food came very fast and it was so fresh and amazing. The fried spring rolls were so fresh and crisp and it comes with the sweet sauce. And let me tell you the portions of the meals were so big we both could only eat half the plate and had to have it put in a box to take home. And we also asked for a bag for our food. I definitely 10 outta 10 would recommend!!!

Super tasty and unique, noodles are amazingly chewy and yummy. Kimchi fried rice is also great. Service is good and serving sizes are quite large. Will be returning soon to try the dumplings!

The food was delicious! The portions are very large, so you can bring home left overs. There is a lot of seating, so there was no wait for a table when I was there. I will definitely start coming more often.

Went to Frank's for lunch on a Friday. There were quite a few people there but they had plenty of seating so no wait. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles. They come in a bowl with pork and some veggies over homemade noodles. You can choose your spice level from 1 to 5. I got level one and it was just slightly hot but very flavorful. The noodles are the main attraction though. Good texture and very fresh. The service was also good and the restaurant was clean. A good value for the quality and quantity of the food. Parking and access was good.

Service wasn't the most attentive; however, I recognize that the place seemed slightly understaffed yet fairly busy during weekday lunchtime. I thought that their hand-pulled noodles tasted absolutely amazing, perfectly seasoned and flavored. I ordered their medium spicy and it didn't seem very spicy, though that could be variable based on the chef of the day. This is definitely somewhere I would go again due to me having random cravings of this type of noodles.

Overall, it was a decent experience. Food was very quick and pretty good. Service was prompt. The hand-pulled noodles lack seasoning if you order 0 spicy level, but the texture was on point. General Tso's chicken was very good. There were flies that kept bothering us.

I ordered the hand pulled noodles with beef. The beef was tender and good sized pieces The flavor was light but could have been more flavorful. Will be asking for more sauce on it next time. The noodle texture was really good, perfect amount of chewy. The Thai Iced Tea was good.

I went here at lunch and they were busy so the service was slightly slow. I only ordered wonton soup and rice and it took awhile before it was served. The portion was big. They specialize on hand-pulled noodles and will try a different dish next time.

Ordered Biang Biang Noodle with beef, which is not authentic at all. They stuffed the whole dish into a rectangular container full and pushed it. This pushed the noodles to the shape of the box and it sticks together despite a lot of oil. Won’t recommend for its authenticity at least.
