Don't use the pool. The water is very discolored and the smell of chlorine is non existent, the pool water taste like salt. We had gotten out because the wall light in the pool itself came out of it's socket and when we told the front desk the person attending said "again?" Other than that the train kinda sucks but the rooms are fine

This hotel is the remnants of a long gone booming business district. Our stay was fine but someone was knocking on our door at twelve noon on the dot, which is checkout time. We had told the night crew that we needed a late check out which would be 1:00 p.m. but somebody was promptly knocking at our door at noon asking "hey do you need to let check out". There weren't any shampoo, conditioners, or lotions which I was personally counting on because I had to pack light. I wouldn't stay here again unfortunately.

The property is nicely maintained, rooms are pretty nice. Location is pretty good in Beaverton area. Portland Downtown is like 20-25 mins away only. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Highly recommend this hotel

While the staff were very friendly, like other hotels in this neighborhood, they are next to a cargo railway. While the rail traffic and horn blowing are pretty bad during the day, they don't seem to run much after 10pm or before 5am. The worst rooms are those in the wing where room numbers end in -34 through -66. Odd numbered rooms directly face the track. They graciously moved me to the other wing when I asked.

TRAIN!!! I stayed in Room 137 and the train blared its horn very loudly until late at night and started up again early in the morning, which made sleeping impossible. Staff (who were friendly) knows this, but did not mention it and didn’t offer earplugs at check-in. When I called to switch rooms, the manager said “we’re full” and didn’t offer an apology or any other response- I’m staying at Radisson by the Airport now and they have (unsolicited and complimentary) pairs of earplugs next to the bed with a kind note for people who are light sleepers and might be bothered by nearby airplane or train noises. I’ll choose a different hotel next time I’m in Beaverton…customer service matters.

I was very pleased at how amazingly clean the room was. However, the spider on the ceiling over my bed one morning did creep me out, and they took care of it. The next day there was one on a wall in the hallway. (I seriously dislike spiders) However, I do understand the area, and the fact the hotel was undergoing a major remodeling of the exterior, it only makes sense spiders would appear. Everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Rooms are really nice but it's by the tracks and its being renovated so you can't go on the balconies

When we booked our room 1 month ago, the website had photos of an indoor pool. Well.. they demo it with notice to pre-existing bookings. We were in Room 328, top floor and last room. Balconies are closed, doors and the window is covered with black tarps so you can't see out of your room. Sunday, we woke up at 9:06am to a hammers banging on our balcony exterior wall. You would think Marriott would have limited Occupancy to one hallway while they work on the exterior of the other building. Nope! This was the most disturbing sound to wake up to for hours! Guest came out screaming at the workers. I spoke to the batista who said she would have the management come talk to me. Nope he walked by without checking in. This was the worst stay ever! Marriott should have been more considerate.

We had a medical emergency and the entire staff was very accommodating. The renovations are lovely and the new showers are much easier to use. Just wish they had replaced the toilets with higher ones. These are like sitting on the floor! But a great hotel, nonetheless.

For a hotel that's under construction from renovation, it's still an incredibly nice experience. The staff in the bistro serving breakfast are nothing short of amazing. They were friendly, fast, and remarkable in their service. I feel really pampered and appreciated. A++ Marriott.

Zero stars not available. This Location should be closed during its renovation going on now (Summer 2023 til ????). Terrible. Wish we knew before booking.

Do not stay here until the renovations are done. I’m surprised you don’t need a hard hat to enter this disaster. Nails and debris are everywhere. You can exit and enter the hotel in active work zones where cranes are operating. We were told work does not start until 9am - wrong - it started at 8. And weren’t told about the construction until we had booked the hotel so that’s a lie of omission. The smoke detector started flashing in the middle of the night and they offered to put tape on it - at 2am. We could go on but wanted to warn other travelers to stay away until this process is completed - and who knows how long that will be.

Check in was great đź‘Ť, customer service was greeted with a smile and accomodations were made very easily. Only drawback was we had a courtyard view room and the exterior was being painted, so we had men painting our little patio and we couldn't use it, or even open our curtains or they could stare right in our room, not sure great customer service made up for that!

Great location near a lake and wonderful trail. The staff was super friendly. The king suite is large and deco in modern theme. Super clean. The front and balcony were being updated so not much can be seen but that is just a temporary issue. Across the oparking lot is a plaza where one can get foods - pizza, starbucks etc.

Came here for Sping Break with my daughter, and it was a great stay. My only complaint is that the AC was a little loud at times, and there were workers there painting the building, but I understand maintenance has to get done. Overall wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The only detractor that we had during our stay were some rowdy kids next door on our first night, the front desk was even willing to try talking to them for us. We were able to switch rooms the second night of our stay and had an overall fantastic night on our second night here. The beds and rooms were comfortable and the service was excellent and friendly throughout even the cleaners were friendly. The only downsides were some very minor work the rooms needed(squeaky hinges on a few doors etc) and the front desk assured us that would be finished before the next person stayed in our first room where we noticed the minor problems and reported them. There were fairly good decorations and a rather nice television in each room we stayed. One thing I would recommend to the company to improve on is the internet service package layout, once you are logged in as a guest(should have logged in via a login as we already payed for the internet) on the cellphone you cannot log out to change your internet plan nor find the login page from the website for the hotel easily only one of us was able to use the upgraded internet. I'm sure we could have gone to the front desk with this but it was 11am and none of us wanted to go that far. Overall we had a fantastic stay and will almost certainly stay here again if we need to travel to Portland in the future.
