Where do I begin? If you want an absolute pleasant eating experience, eat at Casa Lola Kitchen, in Cornelius Oregon. To start our meal off we ordered the Topas de Mole. Nice thick, home fried tortilla chips covered in a luxurious mole sauce, topped off with Mexican cream and queso fresco. This was my first time trying mole, and I was not disappointed. For her entree, my wife ordered the Filete de Pescado al Tequila. Red snapper with a butter tequila sauce and served with rice. The fish was tender, moist, not too fishy, and oh so flaky. The sauce was a delicious compliment to the lovely filet. I can safely and confidently say that this was the most delicious fish dish I have eaten and it's incredibly simple. For my entree, I went with the Fajita Nachos and I added steak. These nachos used the same tortilla chips as our appetizer, and they were perfect. The bell peppers and onions added a delicious garden fresh taste to the dish. They were also charred to perfection which added a hint of smoky sweetness with every bite. The jalapenos were spicy, charred, and an incredible addition as well. The melted cheese was mixed in with more of their delicious mole sauce and to top it off, was a lovely drizzle of Mexican queso fresco, which added an element of creaminess to the meal. The amount of food was perfect for our little family of three. We shared our food with our little one instead of ordering her a meal, which still left us all full and satisfied. To finish off our lovely evening, we ordered the horchata to go, and had the chance to taste the Arroz con Leche. A delicious, cold rice pudding. The rice was perfectly cooked and the flavor was wonderful. My Puerto Rican wife has never been able to find a rice pudding as good as her family's, until now. Overall, this meal was amazing. The ambiance was perfect, the food was stellar, and the service was incredible. 10/10

I finally made it to Casa Lola, and I'm glad I did!! The dishes are from scratch, well prepared, and healthier than the typical Mexican food. Service was friendly, efficient, and very welcoming. Items pictured are vegetarian. Margareta lightly sweetened with agave.

Really yummy Mexican food! A bunch of us went during lunchtime and tried a bunch of dishes. I got the Lola bowl which was really tasty. All dishes turned out really great and it reminded me of my time spent in Mexico.

I had a fun evening with friends here. I tried a cider beer, and it was pretty good. I also ordered the taquitos. I wasn't expecting it to be a big deal, but they were full or meat and very tasty! The chips and salsa were great too! Can't wait to go back and do happy hour again! I ate inside, but they take out is available.

Such delicious chilaquiles!!! The eggs were literally perfect. We got to meet the owner and he was super nice, the kitchen staff was so great too.

Food was excellent. Service was above average. Seating is kind of tight and can get noisy if there's a lot of people and music playing. Expensive but worth it! They serve chips and salsa upon being seated for free.

I really wish I had taken photos of our food on the first visit... it was AMAZING!! I am an extremely picky person & my husband to me somewhere new (doesn't usually work out well)... but from start to finish it was great. We went on a Monday eve so it wasn't busy, but we walked in & were greeted and sat. they brought chips & salsa (that wasn't salsa but pico... perfectly balanced pico!). They have us plenty of time to look at the menus, they weren't put off by the fact that I wanted to taste my husband's drink before I ordered. I've NEVER had a normal margarita that I've liked (not a fan of lime/citrus)... but it's muddled lime & it was fantastic! I ordered my drink (that so many other places have screwed up) and it was perfect (so much I ordered a second one later). I ordered the chicken relleno... to say I'm picky about my food is am understatement - but this was amazing! not dry, not too spicy, wonderful flavors! my husband ordered 3 different tacos... all great! we have already added this to our list of regular places for us! Good food, good drink, good service... win win win!
