Dimly lit, cozy, and small spot for tapas style food with wine. To start, we got the sardine ragu, pollack, mushroom polenta. All of them were pretty good. The sardine ragu didn't have a strong fishy taste. The texture was similar to a gnocchi. The pollack was kind of like sashimi with slices of potato on top. It was fine, but not something I'd get again. The mushroom polenta was my favorite of the night. I also love polenta. The polenta was thick and savory. The mushrooms gave it a perfect umami flavor. For mains, we got the Ray fish and the beef. The Ray was really different to any other fish I've had. It was soft, but also had a lot of bones. The beef was okay. It came with tiny potatoes and tomatoes which were again fine. Overall, it was a quick (ish) place to get dinner. It has a wine bar feel, and generally good food. I wouldn't come here for the wine. The wine by the glass was just okay. The most full bodied wine they had was a Gamay for our beef, and it was still quite light.

Ducksoup, I love you. One of the best places I've visited in London. Totally unpretentious wine bar with friendly staff and delicious food. The wine is also obviously amazing. There is a record player playing some excellent tunes (The Beach Boys when I visited) and the staff even encouraged us to pick a record which was cute. Do not hesitate to come here for a relaxed drink and some top-tier snacks.

Very tiny restaurant. We have tried to book a table but unfortunately the only space left was at the bar. It did feel tight and not a lot of privacy. But saying that the food was excellent. Quite an interesting combination of flavours, we have tried delicious dishes. There is a good selection of wines as well. The staff were attentive. Recommended.

Very cozy atmosphere, incredible wine selection, excellent & friendly service. Our waiter on Saturday night was great and attentive and was good at helping us choose the type of wine we wanted (their list is huge). The food was so damn good. Wine was delicious. We only got a selection of small plates and all were an amazing combination of ingredients that worked so well together. If it's still on the menu when you go: the purple broccoli with burrata is bangin and so are the cod cheeks!

We visited Ducksoup recently and were completely in love by the time the bill arrived. The service (big shout out to Rina, who is an absolute dream ), the food and the general cozy ambiance was enough to convince us to come back again and again. I highly recommend this place to anyone that truly enjoys flavour, cooking creativity and fantastic service.

A great cosy place for a dinner and a drink. My partner and I shared an order of bread, 2 small plates and a large plate. We sat on the bar which was slightly uncomfortable as it was small but we wholly enjoyed the small conversations we managed to have with the other diners that night. We will be coming again!

Nice restaurant. Lot of vegetarian options. Cheese board was nice. Expected more than some lavash and cheese. It complemented the pickles well. Figs and labneh. These were great. Def order. Squash fritters with yoghurt dip was great. Quail with grapes were great. Hard to share given bones in the quail. Def nice flavor. Worth ordering. Particularly enjoyed the natural wines. The hostess is great at recommending basis your preferences. I enjoyed my experience. Recommend booking a reservation.

Lively hip and intimate ambiance. Everyone’s like family and it really translates on to the personal and fun service. How cute that they’ve set up a record corner/ collection that each leaving staff leaves as a memorbilia. Generally great and inventive small plates, cheese platter, and natural wine and other drinks selection. Great for: dates, small groups 2-3 Rating: 4.5

Finding a quiet and intimate place to eat in Soho can be difficult, so I was intrigued to finally visit Ducksoup - especially after hearing so many glowing reviews from many foodies. We sat at the bar which was a great spot to see all of the action and the wines. We were lucky to have a good menu on the day we visited as it rotates frequently. The standout dish was the rotolo pasta with sage butter sauce and girolles. Overall, we were very glad to have a new and different dining experience to everywhere else we’ve visited in Central London. The service was very friendly and they helped us to pick out our wines as we had never tried natural wines before. My only recommendation would be to make the wines/terms used a bit more accessible - not everyone who visits will be a connoisseur…! Another slight critique is the portioning/pricing - our bill after 2 ‘large plates’ and 2 ‘small plates’, plus 4 glasses of wine came to over £175 for 2 people. For the simplicity of the dishes and portioning, I’m not sure if I could consider it reasonable (a few chunks of fried aubergine were £13), considering we’ve been to ‘fancier’ restaurants nearby for less. That being said, it’s still a lovely place and also v romantic!

Great find in central London. Great menu selection for sharing split into starters, small plates and large plates. The large plates are quite large. Great wine selection also. Small intimate restaurant with a good vibe. Will definitely be back

Found this little gem online and it caught my eye because of the slightly different menu from the rest in the local area. The food was excellent, I had the cuttlefish for starters and the lamb chops for mains both plentiful and cooked to perfection. Service was very friendly and attentive, the food was made in good time. The only very minor gripe was the music which I found odd, the restaurant has a French bistro vibe but the background music was American hillbilly music and David Bowie.

Just amazing. These types of little restaurants are my favorite : seasonal food, original flavor mixes, excellent wine (i recommend the sparkling chenin). I had a lovely experience and cannot wait to come back when I’m back in London.

Intimate setting, delicious food, great service and an extensive wine list. It’s now one of my favourites in London. So well priced for central London and the quality of the food. Definitely need to book as there’s limited tables.

A nice countertop restaurant in the heart of Soho. We had bread and butter, market pickles and labneh for starters. They were all quite good with bigger portions than normal. Butter was especially our favourite. For small plates, we ordered fried romanesco, spiced beetrots, raw trout and leeks. Our favourite was definitely the leeks. Nice selection of wines and cosy&warm atmosphere inside (entrance foor bar). Last but not least their orange wine is worth trying.

Cosy little wine bar with delicious sharing plates. Staff were extremely knowledgeable about the wine list and very attentive throughout the evening. Make sure to book ahead as we saw a lot of walk-ins turned away on the night!

Fantastic!! Unlike most expensive restaurants that charge you exorbitant sums for tiny portions, this place, while on the higher end, serves really decently sized plates. And the food is delicious! Two of us shared the fritters with capers (appetizer), pork belly because we believe in living the good life (main), and a side of carrots which came with a delicious sauce, and it came to 30£ per head. Their servers were really nice and attentive. We left with our pockets lighter and our bellies full and happy 😊

A rustic lunch with English game, rabbit, lamb, beans (do they count?) Ducksoup in soho offered a warm and cozy atmosphere with a great selection of natural wines. We did the In Duck We Trust and they recommended a nice red to go with our meats. We started with oysters before going through the menu. Gnocchetti with sage and paramesan Roast Lamb with apricots and rainbow chard Braised Rabbit Leg, with pancetta, sweet peppers, and cannelloni beans Shaved Courgettes with Labneh Pappa Al Pomodoro, Basil For dessert we got a sweet fried dough and grilled peaches. Overall a great meal to have with friends, can get a little pricier, but it’s a nice restaurant in soho, so account for that.

Buzzing on a Friday night with Prince playing on the turntable. Plenty of little dishes to chose from for a perfect light meal before the theatre. With four waiting staff and a bar tender we were served quickly and efficiently as a walk in couple. Granted the prices are at the higher end... but if you want something not run of the Mill and with a good vibe... well you have to pay for it in Soho.

A very special evening spent here! The perfect choice is you want to have a cosy 1-1 setting trying incredible food and drinks. Every single plate we ordered was incredible. We chose the fritters to start with, which arrived quickly and were crispy and deliciously seasoned with honey and parmesan. We chose duck and lamb as our mains, and the 2 available sides which we shared, using small plates (recommend to do so you can sample each food!).

Great experience (intimate), very friendly staff and the food is delicious!! The cuisine is European/uk/Asian fusion. It comes with very strong flavors and in a nice quantity. Some of the best restaurant I have tried in London. It can be hard to get a booking for dinner but you can walk in for lunch during the week 👌.

The Nhudhi was simply divine and very light but filling. I also recommend the courgette starter. The cocktails were decent. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. The lemon and ginger tea was a let down - came cold and should have been accompanied by a strainer. I’m general, great place but in spenny side

The dining area was a bit small but it made for a warm and cosy environment. The staff were very friendly and patient. This is a great place to go if you want a variety of vegetarian options. The cocktails were lovely and I would recommend the fritters, skate, cabbage and pannacotta with quince jelly.

Great restaurant and original menu. Staff very helpful in choosing the wine. Mid-high price range, light lunch around £50 a head with wine. A little cramped, best to sit at the counter.
