Delicious authentic Belgian traditional food in traditional brown cafe. Large portions. Staff friendly and helpful accommodated us on a busy Friday evening despite us not having reservations.

Authentic Belgian restaurant. Beautifully cooked and presented food, well patronised by locals, always a good sign. The staff were very friendly and attentive. As we were in Beersel we would have hoped for a better beer list of lambics and gueuze. Boon, Mariage Parfait was just fine though. Lovely place, like to return.

A kinda old looking interior but gives a cozy vibe and is wel maintained . Friendly personel and the food on the menu has quite a few local dishes if you like to taste more local mother's cuisine. Cooking. Obviously they also have all the usual dishes like steak and spaghetti. All in all a good place to eat

Typical Flemish “Brasserie”. Local pub with an Art nouveau atmosphere turned restaurant. Best mussels and other typical Flemish regional fare . A must. Reservation required.

This was my first time in this very typical Belgian restaurant and will definitely come back! A very welcoming and cozy atmosphere, with various historical artifacts, old photos and posters. Service extremely attentive, friendly and efficient making us feel as part of the family. We tried the shrimp croquettes that were very delicious and authentic, accompanied by a Beersel blond beer - a nice treat. This was followed by the fish choucroute, which was sublime, accompanied by a Petit Saint Jacques white, as recommended by the staff - another delight! Finally, we tasted their "Famous little Belgium" dessert, a very pleasant praline ice cream with chocolate chips. Highly recommended and will return soon to experience the other treats in the menu. Reservation recommended as places are limited.
