I always leave in shock at how good my food was and how huge the portions were. This place is AMAZING beyond words. I eat vegan/gluten free and there’s no shortage of options whatsoever. My friends who have no dietary restrictions love this place just as much. Whatever you like, they’ll have something for you. I drive 40 minutes to this place almost every week because the food is THAT good. Highly highly highly recommend. Attached is just one example of a meal. These are just burgers or sandwiches that are seriously probably 3-5 pounds. So tasty and great as leftovers. This place is usually a little empty so please come and support them! Foods great and prices are great. You will absolutely not regret it. And hey, it just might become your favorite spot like me!

I just moved to the area and couldn't be happier to find a vegan restaurant nearby. The food is absolutely incredible. I ordered the Quinoa and vegetables and it was so flavorful that I couldn't wait to eat the leftovers the next day. We also ordered the black bean enchiladas which were beyond delicious. I'm so excited to have found this place, everyone should be supporting this amazing business! 👏 👏👏🏆🏆

So good! We had the protein power salad. All of the ingredients were fresh and crisp. The tofu was prepared nicely and a generous portion. The star of the show was the mango vinaigrette which was sweet but tangy. The service was extremely polite, attentive and helpful.

This is a vegetarian/vegan place with a lot of options and the chef has carefully planned out the menu here. I had the beetroot burger and spicy dates smoothie. The flavors are just fantastic and served in great quantity. The staff is very friendly too and feels good dining in.

This was an unexpected and outstanding vegan food experience! After visiting the wonderful Garden in the Woods in Framingham, we were referred to a list of local restaurants for lunch. After the meal, we were all talking about how wonderful their food was. I highly recommend!

Food is amazing! Ingredients are fresh. Portions are above average for sure. Don't drive by this establishment it's a delight. The owner works the front and back and you can tell he appreciates the customer.

Great first visit! Everyone in our group was satisfied with their selected dish. I was impressed with the Gobi Manchurian appetizer. Included are pictures of the Potato Leek Pizza and Butternut Kale Lasagna. I was pleasantly surprised with Tex Mex Pizza too! Place is clean. Service is friendly. It's a must go place for vegan and vegetarian options. Their dessert menu is tempting too!

So, let's just start with the vibe, it was very small but cozy, I did notice they had a bar which I assume they used pre-covid, cool. They food was alright, a tad bit spicy and...well..a lot. I do understand we came around closing, I couldn't help but feel the food was made a bit rushed. I don't discouraged anyone, they are hard working and very polite. Great vegan options. Menus seems to be limited depending on the time of day but I also noticed that you could order some things off like the lunch menu at dinner depending on what you choose.

  • 5/5 Brent P. 2 years ago on Google
Not sure if this is from covid, or always operates this way, but we ordered at the counter and they bring it out to us. No servers, and the food was in takeout containers (with paper plates supplied). During our stay only one other table came in, all other orders were call ahead/take out. I felt we waited a little long (about 30 min) for the food but it's also a minimum staff and quite a few take out orders going on. The food was excellent, and all four in our party were very happy with it (2 vegan and two not). Portions were generous and half went home with leftovers. I'm always a bit hesitant with vegan plates but my Tex-Mex pizza was to die for. Each dish has a Vegan (or dairy) cheese option. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating, and we appreciated their 4 trash bins that separated items for recycling. So the place may not have a cozy atmosphere or operate like traditional sit-down, but all four of us would enthusiastically return!!

Vegan and vegetarian HEAVEN. Such great food, drinks, and the service was excellent! There's always a line out the door and the wait time can be a little long, but there are tons of bars in this area to check out and grab a couple drinks until they text you that your table is ready. Definitely top 10 spots in the city to check out!

Having been to dozens of vegan restaurants in Boston, this one might just be the best. Every item have eaten here has been incredible, but the Reuben sandwich in particular is to die for. Every sandwich is loaded up and you get a great value as well. This is a must go to restaurant!

So I was in the area for a few days and ended up eating here multiple times. It’s healthy, hearty, delicious food at reasonable prices. The guy working there is so chill and made sure the order was just as we wanted. We need more places like this all over! Also, try the smoothies!!

The owner is very accommodation. he takes special interest in your order and offers you many customization on the food. He uses earth friendly disposable and organic product which i care most. Beautiful, well-maintained interior. We had the Gobi Manchurian, which was so good we had to get another order to bring home to our children, who also loved it. We also ordered the tofu ruben (delicious but messy!) and the quesadillas (very ample portions, and delicious--the Daiya cheese was melted perfectly!) We also got two slices of pie, which I believe were raw--very tasty but somehow also quite light. Wonderful meal overall!

We found Green Leaf via a google search for vegan restaurants. The menu looked amazing and was not far away from the Natick Mall. Plenty of parking and a very clean restaurant. We shared a bowl of French lentil soup that had a lot of flavor and plenty of lentils followed by quinoa fritters. My wife had the chimichurri seitan sandwich and I the bbq tempeh sandwich both with sweet potato fries. The house made toasted tomato ketchup was so much more than just a ketchup! We ended up having desert, because we simply couldn’t refuse, which was amazing. Chocolate mousse pie and chocolate coconut banana cake. The water tasted good as a side note. The tables all had their own very nice salt (Himalayan Pink Salt!) and pepper mills and nifty napkin dispensers. We can HIGHLY recommend Green Leaf to anyone in the area. It is a MUST for all fans of vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

The food here was absolutely delicious. We really loved that they use compostable goods. Clearly a very family run, local business. So much flavor in the all the food, will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again!! 11/10 recommend

Absolutely delicious! Everything was very flavorful. The dessert was amazing. We got the chocolate souffle with vegan vanilla ice cream. The ice cream seemed like it was homemade. Also the man working there was very friendly.

The menu has a great variety and some cool concepts. They seemed a little short staffed. I believe this place has a little potential. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a great place for a mean in the future. The taste of the food was okay.

One of the best brunch places in the metro Boston area. Great food quality and big portions. Pretty much everything can be made Vegan or gluten free.

Coming back from western Mass to Boston, we discovered this hidden treasure. Parking lot was almost empty as was the restaurant, guess most order take out for Friday lunch. However, it smelled really good, so we stayed and glad we did! The soups, one lentil and one veggie were so tasty and satisfying. Then a cauliflower dish with a salad, proved to be a delicious and hearty meal. We left wanting to try more entrees and a dessert. We would DEFINITELY RETURN! The Indian guy who waited on us made great suggestions and in general lovely. Highly recommend.

I was really excited for this place because of the great reviews. And it was okay, but somewhat disappointing. The food took a while, was priced like nice restaurant food, but was served in to-go containers. The cauliflower appetizer was a little soggy and the flavor was just okay. It has potential, but I think they need to up their game a little. Nice people.

I like the quality of food here, but I was very displeased with the ($20.00) lasagna dish. Once they reheat it, it becomes a mushy dish that doesn't resemble lasagna. I asked for a refund and was refused saying there was nothing wrong with it. The other dishes so far are great, but steer clear of the lasagna.

The eggplant Parmesan sandwich is absolute perfection and bursting with flavors. Definitely enough for two meals. Everything was made to order so it took about 20 minutes to get the food. I'll call ahead in the future.

Went for breakfast on a rainy Sunday and so glad we did - the food was incredible and came out quickly. I am gluten free and they had a ton of options for me, and everything we got was delicious. The picture is their fig and walnut waffle (GF). It’s easy to drive past this building but don’t sleep on it! Can’t wait to come back for another meal to try their other options.

The Beet Burger shouldn't be called a burger and shouldn't be on the menu. It's just a bun with a very unappetizing pink spread. The Veggie Burrito was overstuffed and the vegan sour cream didn't taste right. Lentil soup was very bland as well and the Eggplant Sandwich was average. Not quite sure why we charged extra for vegan cheese when the restaurant itself is vegan.

Temper your expectations and you won’t be disappointed. It’s a very non-traditional format, without typical “service”: you walk up to a counter to place your order, seat yourself, pour your own cup of water from a sink, and then wait about 10-20 minutes for your food. You then pick the food up from the counter in a “to go” container, and eat at your table. (Wish I would have known all this before we tipped...) The quesadilla was ok, and the BBQ wrap was good but we didn’t taste or see any vegan mayonnaise. The sweet potato fries were cooked well. It’s also completely silent in the restaurant, with no music and everyone eating without conversation; maybe this was just a Sunday morning thing?

I'm not a vegan/vegetarian aficionado so maybe others may disagree but I really enjoyed my experience. The atmosphere was informal, with an order and collect food at the counter setting. The meal was very reasonably priced especially considering the portion. The beet burger itself was sloppy and far from a patty but I'd still recommend it as the the taste was fantastic!

Locally owned spot in an area filled with chain restaurants. I love the food here - great options that range from super healthy to slightly less healthy but still plant based. My favs are the tofu Reuben and the salads with shallot vinaigrette. There’s plenty of seating inside, but the atmosphere is a little bare bones. Call for takeout.

I love this place! I have been getting takeout at least once a week since March. My favorites are the gobi manchurian, potato leek pizza, sweet potato and black bean enchiladas, and the chocolate mousse dessert. I am so grateful to have a go-to vegan restaurant.

I arrive at this outstanding restaurant from time to time as I like the good mood that is outline this restaurant. The team is extremely cordial and qualified. Vegan omelets are hard to come by, so when I saw them here, I had to try it. I got the Mediterranean Omelet made vegan and it was AMAZING! Delicious with great texture. Stuffed generously with veggies, too! I'm an out of towner or else I'd come back and try everything else.

I have lived 10 minutes from Green Leaf for 10 years, and just in the last 2 weeks have eaten here. The food is SO DELICIOUS and you really get your money's worth. The serving sizes are humongous, so I always end up having enough leftover for lunch the next day. The appetizers are big enough to feed 2 people a full dinner. Truly a gem. So very thankful for Green Leaf <3

Green Leaf has become our favorite local takeout spot to grab a quick bite to eat. Love the gobi manchurian, and burritos. Service is always fast, and the food always great. We appreciate the use of bio friendly packing materials for take out.

Ridiculously expensive and one of the slowest service at any restaurant I have ever been to. Staff couldn’t care less about Shriners. Place was empty and we had to wait 30 minutes for our food.

  • 1/5 Anu D. 4 years ago on Google
The food was good, the service is painfully slow and there was a mouse running around in the dining area when we got our dessert. We tried to get a hold of the managers/owners to make sure they had taken care of the issue, but never got a call back. We never went back, nor will we.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! I am not vegan or vegetarian, but my vegan friend wanted me to try this place. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was so good! The tex-mex pizza is very good, with black beans, cilantro and avocado...I do not recommend the non-dairy cheese option. Prices are a little high and although the soup is very tasty, the "bowl" is what a normal "cup" size is anywhere else. Still, they've got some good options that are a bit different from other places nearby. I would recommend trying them.

I rarely have a bad experience with an all vegan restaurant considering most have been at least decent. This place just didn’t make the cut of places I would come back to and I feel bad because the staff was nice. The food was not tasty at all. The fried the grilled bbq chicken and it was dry. The only thing that made it tolerable was the sauce. The veggie soup was tasteless. It’s just too bad because it’s a decent place and the people were nice. I’m not sure if I would come back. They were also pricey for their portion of food.

Self serve at register which is fine. It's just confusing when the guy at the register is in the back and there's noone to talk to. Ordered two appetizers and sat down. Very odd decor with stock photos adorning the bright green walls. In house music playing out front and then classical music behind the counter was very weird. The music also completely cut out for a short while and it made for a very awkward dining experience sitting in silence only interupted by our own conversation Went to ask for water and was pointed to a self serve station. Food came out in to go containers which makes zero sense. Maybe they don't want to pay a dishwasher? Food was sub par at best. We got the nachos which were those circle ones that are most definitely the lowest quality corn chips available. They were also so loaded with toppings (not in a good way) that everything was extremely soggy. The beans looked like they were just pulled from the can and slopped ontop. The vegan cheese was not even melted. Most likely thrown under a heat lamp and let sit. The guacamole was the only redeeming item to this dish. The other was the falafel. They were rock hard on the outside and near impossible to bite or cut. Additionally they had a soapy taste to them. Something I couldn't quite put my finger on but it over powered most of the chickpeas and parsley taste for sure. We had to drench them in the cilantro tahini dip to stomach them. Just those two dishes for $25. You can get much higher quality for a lower price at any other vegan / vegetarian place in the state of Massachusetts. Mark my words on this review, this place will be closed very soon if they don't adapt.

I am not vegan or vegetarian, but I love their foods. Quality and tasty. They don’t do any table service, and I actually like this way. We order and pick up our meal from the counter, and pour water for ourselves. The important thing is: We enjoyed the foods here.

I had high hopes about the restaurant seeing all the reviews and awards they advertised. Unfortunately the experience was bad. I didn't enjoy the food at all. It seemed very bland I had ordered their pizza, munchurian as well as soup but didn't like any of these food. Would not recommend

Here's what their menu says: Artichoke Stuffed Mushrooms Button mushrooms stuffed with onion, garlic, marinated artichoke hearts, and herbed goat cheese. Drizzled with maple balsamic reduction .(GF) (SF) (Available vegan) $ 2.50 $11.99 My colleague called and asked if she could get "individual stuffed mushrooms," was told yes, and ordered two with her lunch. They charged her $29. I accidentally paid it without realizing, went back in to ask about it, and was angrily told I read the menu wrong. The owner refused to acknowledge that the menu is misleading (claiming $2.50 is for vegan cheese - but that, in my view, is extremely unclear) and told me to fight it through my credit card company. So I am. They lost potential long-term customers (we work down the street) with extremely poor customer service. Too bad, because the food is perfectly mediocre and we would have continued to order it for lack of better local options.

Most amazing vegan food wow, my boyfriend and I are traveling home back to new york and came upon this place on accident. We’ve had amazing vegan food in Brooklyn and Manhattan and this place belongs in those competitive areas. We ordered the Polenta, Artichoke Dip, Stuffed Mushrooms, Kelp Soup, and Enchiladas, absolutely surpassed our expectations. Wow. Amazing food. The fried cheese on top of the mushrooms elevated the dish to a new level that we never thought to do in our own kitchen. If you’re trying to decide on somewhere to eat COME HERE you seriously will not regret it I wish i lived closer in the area just to eat here. Super clean place, and the Chef was so friendly and even charged my phone for me. Great place, great staff. Very happy :)

You have not lived until you’ve eaten brunch at gee leaf. Idk what he puts on those potatoes but it is magical. Portions are huge so you will likely enjoy leftovers. Five stars for the food, for sure. The only reason I’m giving four stars is because whether you’re dining in or taking out, they can be unreliable with how long it takes to get your order.

A vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Framingham is a rarity, and a great one, even more so! I’ve eaten here multiple times, and the food is excellent. My favorites are the gobi manchurian, and the veggie burrito.

If you're looking for an environmentally friendly place to dine, this is a great one! Got the gobi manchurian, double decker nachos and the best one - fig walnut waffles! Vegan and GF options, large portions, creative combinations, what more do you want? Will be a regular customer here to sample more of their brunch/lunch dishes. Highly recommended!

the best food ever. everything was excellent and very fresh food. the outside of the restaurant does not say the outstanding chef there is inside. not fancy at all. but if you want quality you need to go there.

I'm writing this review while enjoying heavenly delicious portobello sandwich. I have to admit that this is one of the most delicious sandwiches I've had in my life. Sweet potato bites make it even better. Nice man who accommodated my order was friendly and professional and all together it made my crazy day happy. Thank you! I will be back.

This restaurant is amazing the food is out of this world good and the owner is a great guy the sweet potato chocolate chip pancakes are the best and the tropical dream smoothie is to die for. Overall one of the best restaurants around for vegan and vegetarian and even gluten free diets. Definitely check this place out!

Even if you’re not vegan this place is fantastic. I was very impressed with portion sizes, food quality, and taste. It’s a super good deal and Possibly one of the best vegan spots I’ve been to in the greater Boston and metrowest area

One of the best vegetarian/vegan restaurants in town. The food is very tasty and the portion is generally large , the packaging is in a to-go box so it was easier to carry. Gobi Manchurian is my favorite.

The sweet potato quesadilla is delicious. The portions are huge, it’s filling and yummy. The staff is super hardworking and kind. The building and the interior don’t match the quality of the food. It’s great. So thankful it’s here! Yum!!

Well first off will say that for the past three years I’ve driven by this place and it looked closed most of the time but it’s probably because no one knows how good this place is. I am NOT a vegan or vegetarian person but I like to try foods and don’t always feel like eating meat so today I decided to stop by and Im glad I did. I got the “chicken” strips and they are amazing. I also got the beet burger and I can say that it is also quite delicious. Will definitely be adding this place to my roster of delicious restaurants!

Highly recommended! We came at 3pm on a Wednesday, and the very friendly chef came out to take our orders and served us. The portions are large. It's great value also because the quality is very high. The side salad is very fresh, the sweet potato "fries" are actually very large wedges and are excellent. The reuben and the burrito were delicious. The place is clean and simply decorated.

The gentleman at the front was nice, I had the falafel wrap with a side of sweet potatoes and dipping sauce which were delicious.

I went with my sister, who mostly eats vegan (milk allergy). I can say that even as a non-vegan, the food was delicious! Fresh, flavorful, tasty, and the vegan cheese was actually melty! SO many allergen friendly options. Good service and fair pricing. Do yourself a favor and try some vegan cheesecake or chocolate mousse too, amazing!

Food flavor was delicious, just the right balance of seasoning herbs and spices made the soup and Gobi dish taste perfect. My juice was made as requested so this to me is great customer service. Place is large enough to host a large reservation. It's an old looking location and building but inside looked clean and was comfortable. I strongly recommend this place.

The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff is super nice. It really gives you that home-cooked local-gem kind of feel. I love the Caesar salad, the chocolate chip pancakes, and the granola, crusted French toast. Always looking forward to coming back again.

I went to green leaf on a whim as I was not local to the area and had some down time. I was very surprised at their wonderful menu and enjoyed reading it. I ordered and enjoyed the calm atmosphere with my 4 month old son and two very nice woman I met who were finishing their lunch. I learned it was their favorite local spot. When I went to pay I was surprised at the bill bc it was a little higher than I expected. But when I opened my Togo boxes I was doubly surprised at the quality and the portions !!! This order was worth MORE than $30. I would go back again anytime and highly recommend it. The food is DELICIOUS and soo good for you. Thank you Green Leaf! Wish you were on Cape Cod too.

The food was excellent, but seemed like there wasn't enough staff to make quick turnaround on orders, it was a half hour wait for our food after ordering. As long as you have good conversational company or a good book and don't mind the wait, it's definitely worthwhile.

Good vegan food, fast and friendly employees in a casual atmosphere with plenty of seating. From our order, you could get equally good greasy brunch or healthy fresh salads and juice. Be sure to save room for dessert. Would definitely go again
