Wow!
Wow!
Wow!
Firstly,
I
am
NOT
a
vegan.
My
experience
with
vegan
foods
has
left
me
with
bad
taste
in
my
mouth
(pun
intended)
but
this
place
-
it’s
worth
a
special
trip!
It
was
recommended
to
me
by
Sofia
at
Anima
Mundi
Herbals
(Noble
St.).
When
she
said
“vegan”
I
almost
didn’t
finish
listening
but
a
voice
inside
said
“try
again”
and
I
am
so
glad
I
did!
The
smells
when
I
walked
in
were
intoxicating
and
unlike
any
other
restaurant.
I
had
a
hard
time
choosing
but
ended
up
ordering
the
Baja
Oyster
Tacos
with
b’nut
squash
soup
as
the
side
and
a
large
Clean
Green
juice…oh,
and
a
pumpkin
donut
to
go.
The
flavors
were
incredible!
Layered
and
nuanced
like
a
fine
wine.
The
crisp
and
crunch
of
the
fried
oyster
mushrooms,
as
well
as
the
juicy
tenderness
inside
was
so
delectably
satisfying.
I
probably
looked
like
a
caveman
eating
his
first
meal
but
I
didn’t
care.
It
was
definitely
one
of
the
best
meals
I’ve
have
anywhere
in
a
very
very
long
time,
and
being
a
foodie,
I
don’t
say
that
often.
The
green
juice
was
perfectly
balanced,
clean,
and
oh
so
delicious!
Not
too
bitter,
not
too
sweet,
just
right.
The
cafe
itself
has
a
cozy
feel
with
nook-like
sitting
areas
for
groups
in
the
front
windows,
plants
and
artwork
throughout.
I
forgot
the
name
of
the
girl
who
waited
on
me
(agh!
sorry!)
but
she
was
delightful
and
friendly,
and
super
helpful!
She
told
me
they
have
a
buffet
every
day
and
the
theme
of
the
food
changes
daily.
This
place
is
for
sure
a
go-back
for
me,
a
destination
spot
for
food
rather
than
an
I’m-in-the-area
stop.
It
is
so
worth
the
trip!
Take
that
from
a
non-vegan!
(Yes,
the
pumpkin
donut!
I’m
salivating
typing
about
its
soft,
moist,
perfect
balance
of
sweet
and
pumpkin.
Agh!
I
have
to
go
back!)
