We
celebrated
a
birthday
at
La
Scene
Beirut
in
November.
I
reserved
the
$75
minimum
charge
per
person
for
seating
at
the
back,
while
the
$100
minimum
charge
would
have
placed
us
closer
to
the
stage.
I
requested
a
last-minute
change
in
the
number
of
seats,
and
they
accommodated
it
without
any
issues.
Despite
concerns
from
reviews
about
potential
overcrowding,
they
assured
us
that
it
was
only
an
issue
during
the
summer.
Upon
arrival,
we
were
pleasantly
surprised
to
find
ourselves
moved
to
the
front,
even
though
we
were
charged
the
$75
rate.
It
seemed
they
did
this
because
the
place
wasn't
fully
booked.
We
ended
up
with
a
fantastic
spot
right
in
front
of
the
stage,
in
the
middle.
The
venue
is
relatively
small,
so
wherever
you
sit,
the
view
is
just
as
good.
The
lounges
are
obviously
more
comfortable
than
the
tables
with
high
chairs.
The
service
was
excellent.
Regarding
the
food,
portions
were
small,
with
some
dishes
being
tasty
while
others
fell
short.
The
edamame
was
average,
and
the
taquitos
had
no
taste
at
all.
I
highly
recommend
the
sliders
and
bruschetta,
as
they
were
very
tasty.
The
show
was
diverse
and
enjoyable,
not
overly
extravagant,
with
the
highlight
being
Michel
Fadel's
piano
composition.
We
had
a
great
time,
and
the
shows
started
exactly
at
10:30
and
went
on
until
2
am.
I
recommend
this
place
but
it
is
a
bit
expensive
to
what
it
offers.
