Don’t
normally
get
to
experience
something
new
in
Beirut
so
this
was
a
real
treat.
Spent
a
marvellous
evening
with
my
wife
and
friends
at
this
gem
of
a
restaurant
recently-opened
in
Hamra.
The
Excellent:
1.
Carslberg
Lager
on
draught
served
very
cold
in
pint-like
glasses
(500
ml)
2.
Food
was
Lebanese
Mezze
par
excellence.
Dishes
were
generous,
fresh
and
tasty.
Each
one
was
hand-made
with
care
and
not
a
little
passion
for
quality.
3.
Ambience
-
friendly
and
attentive,
decor
neutral
and
warm.
4.
Value
for
money
-
can’t
complain
about
the
prices
at
all.
Very
reasonable
bill
even
including
drinks
all
round.
5.
Bar
-
well-
stocked,
inviting,
eclectic
choice
of
whiskies.
The
Good:
1.
Menu
is
limited
-
we
ordered
everything
on
it!
2.
Service
was
a
bit
slow
-
even
though
our
evening
was
not
negatively
affected.
