Probably my favorite pub in Hamra 😊 Amazing food and drinks, amazing staff, friendly and welcoming. I love their Ferdinand burger, I just wish it would have been available for delivery at lunchtime. I would like to try the smoked burger next time. Edit 2021: Definitely my favorite pub in Hamra, best burger (now available for delivery), nachos, drinks, and most importantly amazing staff. They always make you feel welcome. One thing that sometimes annoys me in Lebanon pubs is when I order a non-alcoholic drink. You'd get a judging look, get asked to order a "real drink", or get told they don't have that option. At Ferdinand I never have this issue, they even get creative with my non-alcoholic cocktails every time I order one.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about! Food is pretty good, Drinks waw!!!! I enjoyed this time with a special friend ❤️

Great place, drinks, food and service and now in a new locatio with bigger space. Must try dishes, nachos and dynamite shrimps. Make sure you book your table in advance especially in weekends.

A super bar in the heart of Hamra. Has a very bluesey musical vibe, and a very old school emphasis on excellent bartending. Don’t fail to get an Old Fashioned, or their signature Whiskey Sour (pictured). A don’t miss classic spot!

Awesome bar at the end of Hamra street! Has a nice vibe, and a great service. They have a large variety of cocktails and all tasty. Maybe try the Thyme gimlet if you're into the soury taste. And most importantly, and the most recommended, probably the reason why i'm doing the 5 star review, FERDINAND BURGER! One of the best burgers i ever had!! It's a must!! Ferdinand has now opened in a new location very close to the previous one, and is still awesome!

I have been to Ferdinand twice now. It seems to be a normative gathering place for Westerns and a good host of locals. The first time, I was extremely impressed by the food. I had a Lemon & herb chicken. The second time, I was once again impressed by the food! (Had a classic burger this second time round). If you’d like an excellent meal, I have nowhere else in Hamra to suggest. As for the service, it’s quite good (as anywhere in Lebanon, you have to catch their attention, but order delivery time is quick). The waiters are relatively cheery. As for the atmosphere, it’s quite laid back and comfortable to be in. I’ve yet to encounter the place with a full crowd (perhaps this is related to the prices or timing I went there). But I’ve found the experience to be joyous and absolutely worth it — definitely a great place to bring a friend or even a date. You might not want to spend the entire night here, as at the end of the day it is more on the restaurant side than bar, but it serves its astute purpose. I’d suggest starting your night here before moving on to somewhere else.

Ferdinand is always a good choice if u want a place where u can chill and talk with people. I always enjoy the outdoor area. Their drinks are yum. The staff is nice and the food very good.

Best pub in town hands down: Great food, amazing cocktails, superb service, and incredible vibe. As a plus, it’s clientele is more in the 30s and above age group, so no annoying college kids :)

My most favourite go to Gastro-Pub in Lebanon. Walid and Riad are fabulous hosts and genuinely hospitable. The staff there are my family. I truly feel at home when I am out there for a bite or drinks or both. Also to add on the wonderful conversations you have over the bar with other patrons!😍🤘

Here i wish to resubmit my review. Feridnand is one of the few places that gives me hope in these challenging times. Its not a bar. It is a community and a vision. It brings ppl together. It insists excellence is not a luxury but sth we all deserve to have despite and maybe especially in hard times. A wonderful team. A wonderful menu and the best darn cocktails you can ever have.

I made reservations for the next day. Just by the 2 phone calls I had , I can tell what an amazing place this is. The service seems to be so well kept. Looking forward to it .

the food was great and the cocktails were awesome. There are a lot of local and small batch alcohols to try here. the cocktail menu was fantastic, but be sure to ask the bar tender what he can make as they seem to know hundreds. staff and customers are very friendly and it is in a great neighborhood. check it out

Repeat customer at the new location. Food and particularly the burgers not as good as before, overcooked and lacking flavor. Excellent service on all fronts. Bathrooms are lacking but no fault of their own as located within Napoleon Hotel (frankly shameful). Bring back the winning burgers please.

We had an early dinner here on a Friday night. Nice ambiance, chill place. The menu is unique and very interesting. We ordered the fried olives, classic and ferdinand burgers and banana banana for dessert. The burgers and dessert were just amazing. The fried olives were too salty and I couldn't really taste the blue cheese. The staff is courteous, friendly and overall professional. It seemed like a hot-spot for westerners. We were the only two locals sitting outdoors. The only downside is the smoking. They allow smoking both indoors and outdoors which wasn't very comfortable for me. Overall a very nice experience and definitely a must-try place in hamra.

This place is a must. Small and cozy, unique but perfect cocktails, the best service you could hope for and everything we’ve tasted from the menu is delicious. We cannot visit Beirut without going.

Great cocktails! Staff is also very friendly and attentive. Didn't have a chance to try the food, but will try it the next time I visit! They are moving soon to another location I hear, so i'll have to check it out!

New location, same authenticity. One of the best burgers in town (pioneers of sweet and salty mixes), good vibes and good drinks.

Might be hard to find a seat but once you do, what an amazing place! The service is fast and the food is to die for. I highly recommend the Ferdinand Burger.

I went there in 2016 I was pregnant and had no reservations, the staff was extremely friendly and super helpful. They welcomed us and even gave us a complementary dessert ❤ best service and very cozy atmosphere.
