I
have
been
to
Ferdinand
twice
now.
It
seems
to
be
a
normative
gathering
place
for
Westerns
and
a
good
host
of
locals.
The
first
time,
I
was
extremely
impressed
by
the
food.
I
had
a
Lemon
&
herb
chicken.
The
second
time,
I
was
once
again
impressed
by
the
food!
(Had
a
classic
burger
this
second
time
round).
If
you’d
like
an
excellent
meal,
I
have
nowhere
else
in
Hamra
to
suggest.
As
for
the
service,
it’s
quite
good
(as
anywhere
in
Lebanon,
you
have
to
catch
their
attention,
but
order
delivery
time
is
quick).
The
waiters
are
relatively
cheery.
As
for
the
atmosphere,
it’s
quite
laid
back
and
comfortable
to
be
in.
I’ve
yet
to
encounter
the
place
with
a
full
crowd
(perhaps
this
is
related
to
the
prices
or
timing
I
went
there).
But
I’ve
found
the
experience
to
be
joyous
and
absolutely
worth
it
—
definitely
a
great
place
to
bring
a
friend
or
even
a
date.
You
might
not
want
to
spend
the
entire
night
here,
as
at
the
end
of
the
day
it
is
more
on
the
restaurant
side
than
bar,
but
it
serves
its
astute
purpose.
I’d
suggest
starting
your
night
here
before
moving
on
to
somewhere
else.
