Small museum located on the Deir al Qamar square. Entrance fee at the time of visit was 50k lbp. The museum is located within the old Fakhredine Palace currently owned by the friendly Mr. Samir Baz. It has a collection of more than 50 wax figures of prominent people in the history of Lebanon. A guide explained the history of each one of them and the history of the palace.

The location is beautiful in the heart of Deir el Qamar with great view and amazing ambiance. The museum is inside an old traditionnal Lebanese building , a very beautiful one About the museum the entrance fee is 15000L.L. The museum is very crowded and bad organized. The statues are placed near each other without a clear classification according to a certain subject. In one small location you can find tens of statues which doesn't give each item it's proper value in my opinion. Overall the place is beautiful but needs some organization

An old historical museum, but it is a pity that no one is taking care of it. The Statues look very dirty and are being left with no maintenance. Such history needs to be very well taken care of. The entrance fee is$ 5 per adult. It's ok but should be less, because there is not much to see.

A very nice place to visit, you will be lucky to meet samir baz the owner of the palace. He provided us with a private guided tour.

Nice experience but a bit overpriced considering that there was no guide and the tour did not take more than 30 minutes. The museum also looks nice from outside for a few pictures and they have a few concave/convex mirrors which can be fun to look at but doesn't make the place that much more interesting.

Wax status, great work. Yet place is not managed properly, could be much better.

The place is deserted, in need of restoration and attention. The most beautiful thing about it is the old guard, who narrates history as if he were reading it from a book.

Needs a lot of upgrades. There was an old tour guide that talks very fast, we couldn’t understand a word. The place is a bit dirty and needs to be more organized!

Do not waste your time and money on this place. It is just mediocre. Plus the man took my money and never returned my change. Pathetic.

An apparently achronological bricolage of wax figures from Lebanon's history with minimal connection to Fakhridine castle itself and no explanations in French, Arabic, or English. Give it a pass and see Beittedine, Moussa, or just Wikipedia.

I felt like visiting someone's house unannounced. The place needs some cleaning and to be organized in a better way.

It was a Sunday morning mid July when we visited the museum. It is part of an older palace built by Fakhreddine I and II. The museum boasts a decent number of wax statues of the most prominent figures in Lebanese history. Some of them are truly work of art. We were extremely luck to be guided by old man Mr George Boustany, a veteran local guide with more than 55 years of guiding experience! He was so generous with his info and spent a lot of time explaining to us the heritage behind the museum and the palace. Worth it more for the palace than the wax statues.

Such a waste of time and money. We visited the museum on 12-Jul-21. Entrance fee is expensive (50k LBP) for such a tiny museum and bad experience. The museum is mistreated, a bunch of chairs is kept inside along to a useless treadmill on the stairs. Some of the wax figures are broken or unfinished. Not to forget the trash all over the place. I don’t advise anyone to visit👎🏻

Nothing inside this miserable place. I went with my family, I paid 150 000 LL for 3 persons. I don't recommend this place.
