The animals are barely living. I don't think they are feeding them properly. The birds health looks ok. But the bear, and the wild animals like the tiger, they are barely living. They should feed them more! I know the price of the food is expensive, but at least they should give them a good life. The place is clean, The receptionist is so kind. And one more thing, very few space for the bear, it is so sad.

I took my 16 students to the zoo They were so happy It has different animal Bear lion birds deer sheep parrot monkeys and much more We had fun experience walking and nature is around us In addition to that we saw animals from different angles For example the lion we saw from pov and from above We took picture with a baby monkey. Food is not allowed but the cafeteria isn't expensive

Best zoo in lebanon where you can find different types of animals and you can even get in contact with bear and lion cubs to play and take photos with them. The place is very safe Recommended for kids and even adults Good experience

Loved the place.. created so many great memories for my kids.. the layout is a bit tricky, but overall is an amazing experience.. The variety of animals is great, you got birds, lions, tigers, and even bears.. There are shops inside for snacks and gifts. And also there is purchasable mini experiences within that would provide amazing memories for your loved ones. What was most enjoyable for me is the surrounding greens and river.. unbelievably beautiful Value for money is just mind boggling good

Children would enjoy seeing several animals in this place. The location is very beautiful between the mountains and the river. Even we enjoyed the way to reach there. It needs some maintenance but overall it's good. We weren't able to take photos with the bears because it wasn't available at the time we arrived.

Best Zoo in lebanon due to the wide variety of animals. The zoo is very spacious and not crowded. Fair entrance fees and extra charges for direct engagement with the animals. A must visit specially with kids.

The best animal groups in Lebanon. You can spend 2-3 hours with kids in this place. It’s relatively clean and nice place to visit and interact with some animals as set by the management. It would need some better organization in turns for people queueing for animals interaction.

Very sad that this zoo is low maintenance and needs more care and attention. Animals are desperate, owners need more funds to afford health and care for the habitants.

No instructions throughout the entire function. Uprofessional staff. Animals were extremely dirty and so was the entire place. People were harrassing animals and no staff took any action.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at Animal City Lebanon!! I came today (Wednesday) with my two kids. The city was empty. We paid the parking. No staff or guidance at the door. While walking by ourselves we found a donkey without a chain. It started producing a scary sound. The kids were very afraid. And then it started running towards us while making that terrifying sound. We started running and screaming for someone to help us and the donkey is still running fast Then it went towards the tigers’ cage. One of the tigers jumped to the high end of the gate to fight with the donkey It was like a nightmare!! At the end, one of the visitors came to help! The worst part is when we saw the owner/manager. She was careless, unprofessional, and lacks all kinds of empathy!!! She did not even apologize or offer water or a chair to sit. She asked for the entrance fees, and said “bitsir” (it happens)!! عنجد في بشر ناس وفي بشر مش ناس My kids were very excited to visit that place. Unfortunately, it was wayyy below expectations!! NB: Other than being an animal prison, the smell there is terrible, and insects are all around.

A nice place to spend sometime with the kids and family. Rare to find such places. Very convenient to us as it is near by. We went during a rainy day and enjoyed the animals visit and the walk in a clean area and ambience. Animals are very clean and secured not to be near the kids and people The staff also are Freindly and helpful.

Average place with relative acceptable entrance fees (5,000 LB) per person. I anticipate principle to work more on hygiene and more better care of animals.

You can see from the comments how not only ignorant but heartless our society is. Many of the animals are thrown in spaces far smaller than the minimum requirement with surfaces like concrete. Absolutely terrible and abuse of the first degree. We live in a country where we teach our kids to look at animals like they are a painting or a toy. Shame.

Great place to spend the day with the kids, reasonable amount of animals, all in all for the price and the place it really deserves a five stars, and being the only mini zoo in lebanon well maintained, the owner was there and she’s really nice and answers all the questions explaining, and showing around, keep up the good work.

The place is really nice for kids. It has lots of wild animals, they got to feed some domestic ones which is really interesting. We went there to hold the bear cups but unfortunately they were super hyper so it would be risky for the kids (they might bite) which is a bit disappointing. Overall it is a nice experience for the kids one of the best places to see wild animals in Lebanon.

Went there on Saturday, it was pleasant and not crowded. Despite the hot weather, there was a cool breeze as we were walking around. I was surprised. I mean the place is well maintained and clean considering it is in Lebanon. There is a variety of animals and birds. There are lions, tigers and bears. Vultures and peacocks, one small crocodile, ostriches and pelicans, camels etc.... there are two kangaroos, who were busy loving one another 😆 as were the tigers. The sound the tiger made was so loud and scary!!! Omg! It is not bad. It is a good place for kids to see the animals up close and personal and even feed them. Parking is 3000 L.L. entry is 7000 per person. It's a good place to spend sometime with the kids. There is a snack too. Dunno about the food, but the coffee is good, lebanese way. Toilets were clean. The place just needs a bit of an upgrade, but it is not bad for a Lebanese zoo.

The place is full of a variety of animals. The toilets were clean but the tables outside where people should sit at were not clean. And what I didn’t like is that the animals are separated from their babies :/

Visited the zoo with my family on the weekend. Impressed by the diverse range of animals, but the location is inconvenient—far from the highway and on an inclined terrain. Two small playgrounds are near the cafeteria, offering a peculiar mix of kid's play and shisha for parents! Unfortunately, the high number of flies was a significant drawback, causing discomfort for my toddler and wife. 🪰

Animals seem well treated. The security of visitors, especially kids is fair enough. The entry fees is affordable. The roar of the lion is impressive as well as other animals like bears, the tiger and the ostriches... A place to visit

This is NOT a ideal typical zoo that we normally see abroad. Animal inequality on a whole new level. Half of them look dead, and not provided with the required nutrition. I wish an organization would be able to close the zoo for the Sake of the dying of wild animals enclosed in small cages without any freedom leaving them in gear agony and depression.

The place is good and clean. Sweet interaction with animals ,you can buy an animal food veggy bag . The lady in the photo corner is extremly rude, she was yelling at 2 and 4 yrs old toddlers just for being excited when they saw the monkeys ( note they didn't even touch them). We were a group and we all skipped the photo section because of her attitude.

Great fun place with educated staff who look after the animals well. Very fun and engaging, especially if you ask for a basket of vegetables to feed the herbivores. Diverse set of animals including a tiger, lions, bears (and cubs to play with), dear, ostriches and the list goes on.

Great zoo to take the family, and it's quite rich with wild animals, ferocious ones and docile, and you can even get a small "food" bag for the animals. Furthermore, inside, you can partake in horse riding, snake/monkey holding and parrot/other activities, as well as have a quick lunch and drink.

Very nice zoo with beautiful animals. You can feed the animals which is fabulous with the friendly ones like monkeys for example. I gave a 4 star review because they don't have all the major and well-known animals; they're missing gorillas, giraffes, elephants, and the most amazing one in my opinion (the panda). Btw, very cheap only 20000LL on each person today. You can buy food to feed the animals from their, 10000LL for a big bag of food today. Prices might change from day to day.

I Never go to anything called a zoo in this heartless country, but i was passing by and had the curiosity to check its condition. Worst decision I've made. What i saw was inhumane and utterly dreadful. All i saw was pain and sorrow shading over many of the animals and birds, especially those who were born to soar and run freely in the open. I swear i could translate the tiger's agonizing roaring as if saying please kill me. I really wished i could feed the owner of that so called zoo to that Tiger.

Had the best time at Animal City today, staff spoke very good English and the facilities were good. But nothing shines more than how happy the animals are. You can see that they love the keepers and come to the fence when they see them. You can feed them and have personal encounters with them. I had a snuggle with the Hyena pup Spike who was just adorable. The park is clean and the enclosures look natural and park of the Lebanese landscape. My little animal loving heart was born as so happy here. RECOMMEND TO ANY FOREIGN TOURIST, so worth the trip.
