I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Phoenicia Intercontinental Beirut, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and genuine care by the attentive staff. The check-in process was seamless, and I was escorted to a beautifully appointed room that exuded elegance and comfort. The cleanliness of both the room and the hotel as a whole was truly impressive, reflecting the meticulous attention to detail that the staff upholds. Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I felt pampered and well taken care of. They were always ready to assist with any request, and their professionalism and friendliness made me feel like a valued guest. The hotel's amenities are top-notch, and I had the opportunity to indulge in the exquisite dining options and luxurious spa facilities. The breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea added an extra layer of magic to my experience. Overall, my stay at the Phoenicia Intercontinental Beirut exceeded all expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly exceptional and memorable stay in Beirut. I look forward to returning in the future and extending my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for creating such a delightful experience. Five stars doesn't seem like enough to convey the excellence of this establishment!

One of the best options in Beirut for the following reasons: 1. Reasonable price; 2. Spacious and super clean rooms; 3. Location, near Zaytona Bay and Beirut Down Town (you can go there by foot); and 4. Fantastic lobby. See videos attached.

I recently hade a business there and I didn’t feel like it’s a 5* hotel as it should be , parking services to slow-(very expensive ).carpets & furniture look old, so many workers hovers around you for tips. This is not the same hotel as it used to be . I think after reopen it ,they hire a low quality management, honest review with my best intentions. I used to admire this hotel 😔

Venice Hotel. The Phenicia Hotel is considered one of Beirut’s most important and oldest landmarks, as it is considered the tourist front of Beirut and Lebanon before the civil war and after that it suffered a lot of damage as it was destroyed by the explosion of Prime Minister Hariri in 2005, and it was also exposed to some damage from the explosion of Beirut Port in 2020.

Pool was fresh and clean... Check in and out was fast and really professional... Gym was very clean and sufficient. Makes you really feel at home...

Despite all hardships over the years, Phoenicia has always emerged stronger and more resilient. The team is truly a family and you will notice how proud they are to be working for Phoenicia. Service is from the heart. For the local patrons, Phoenicia is so much more than a hotel. It is a symbol and a much loved place for gathering. You will love the guest mix and the vibes. Excellent breakfast with lavish buffet, equally enticing for lunch and dinner - impeccable service!! Exquisite selection and quality. Worth upgrading to a room with a view ! Rooms are seamlessly soundproof, excellent bedding and generous work facilities. Best location in town!

There is nothing like the Phoenicia Hotel. A historic landmark in the heart of Beirut where every memory is made. The food is exquisite, the service is unmatched and the spa is wow! It’s home away from home.

My experience was horrible, i reach the hotel the room was not ready and they change me the room type. I dont know some guests need three staff to check them in , i thought this was a one time thing ,when i checked out there almost seven but they were busy on the counter with one customer. To be fair there was one guy who help me at last I have go to the restaurant same problem more than 5 staff are busy with with maybe one table. I left the deposit in dollar and i was very rushed to get to the airport they keepet me waiting they give me most of it in dollar but the rest where in lebense lira at last.

I have stayed at the Phoencia a dozen times over the past 50 years and it is a wonderful experience. Close to nightlife, restaurants and historic architecture. Friendly.

It's a heritage hotel that proudly & strongly stood even in times of war and economic crisis in Lebanon. Some, if not most, of the yearly diplomatic receptions of various Embassies in Lebanon are held here either because of its status, location, services among others. If you have been to the Philippines, this 5-star hotel is similar to the Manila Hotel in Manila in terms of heritage & longevity.

Everything was amazing in our experience in the hotel. The rooms are clean. The service is amazing and all the staff are super helpful and nice. The breakfast is amazing with wide ranges of food. The location is central which is a big benefit. The architecture of the building is wonderful where you can see the focus on the small details. Madame Sumaya Sabri was so kind and she helped so much during our stay.

"This elegantly designed property showcases exquisite decor throughout. The rooms are impressively spacious and tastefully appointed, each boasting a private, spacious balcony with captivating views. The staff we encountered were not only well-trained but also displayed courteous and accommodating attitudes. Even during a bustling weekend with numerous groups and families checking in, the check-in process remained notably efficient and professional. The hotel offers a variety of meticulously maintained pools, and the attentive staff are quick to fulfill your requests. A particularly considerate gesture is the continuous provision of complimentary cold drinking water, with staff readily delivering it to guests at the poolside. The quality and cleanliness of the provided towels were exceptional. The hotel offers ample parking space and even provides valet service for those in need. The inclusive breakfast is a lavish spread encompassing a diverse selection of mouthwatering dishes, sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates. Moreover, the establishment features an inviting bar and multiple restaurants, each offering an extensive range of international cuisine."

Hotel is perfectly fine. However, I left a (small) item at the hotel and wished to have it shipped to me. The hotel sent back a form asking for payment for the privilege of reuniting me with my property. As an Intercontinental Diamond member (and a top-tier elite at two other major chains), leaving something behind at a hotel is something that has happened to me at numerous five-star hotels in the past and it's always been shipped to me without hassle. Heck, a Hyatt Place once shipped an item to a friend as a courtesy without even passing on the charge! This is the first time a hotel has ever wanted to charge me. Nickel and diming behavior is not at all befitting a five-star hotel that spoils an otherwise decent experience.

I'm gonna tell you my own experience as a photographer in the event venue. I had a wedding today that im used to take pictures in it and honestly its my first time i have this bad experience. The service is sooo bad. We wanted just water me and my partners, they didn't even care enough to bring the water at our table as if we were rats. As if being a photographer is not appreciated. They literally told me: "Go bring your water yourself at the table" PS: THE TABLE WAS FAR & THEY WERE WAITERS SERVING EVERY TABLE. I didn't say a word. I went and bring the water. I wanted cups they gave me only twoo!! Knowing that we were six photographers and videographers working. What a shame. Small details matter. RESPECTING EVERY JOB IS A MUST. Worst experience ever. Won't recommend it for anyone. Shame.

Good service, nice staff. Took them some time to find our booking. The water for the bath wasnt clear (u can see a yellow color i think that’s the problem everywhere in lebanon).

We have long awaited for the reopening of this amazing, luxurious and "chaleureux" hotel. Our expectations were met and even beyond. The staff is excellent: the mosaic restaurant team (chefs, waiters, floor managers, Naji Aoun, Chef Johnny, Chef Mazen, Abou Ali, Jamil, Mohamad, Mikael and the girls) were tremendous. Pierre, The pianist of Cascade lounge, played beautiful music on saturday evening. And above all, we met the owner, Mrs Chirine Salha: such a nice lady and so so welcoming. This place is very symbolic to Beirut. Without it, Beirut was missing a soul. Will come back.

I had the pleasure of organizing several corporate events at Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel Beirut, and the professional staff went above and beyond to ensure our events ran smoothly, providing tailored services that exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is exceptional, creating a perfect atmosphere for our gatherings. The culinary experience was exquisite, with top-notch food that satisfied even the most discerning palates. The service, from start to finish, was impeccable. If you're looking for a venue with a dedicated and proficient team, exquisite food, and outstanding service, Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel Beirut is the perfect choice. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional.

I ve been coming here for a long time and love the hotel. The food is great. Sitting in the lobby listening to the sound of water is relaxing. The staff at the spa is great. I've had a facial, massage and body scrub and always left feeling rejunivated. The rooms are both comfortable and clean with beautiful city views. The food is delicious and staff are always so helpful and kind. Highly recommend Phoenicia Hotel.
