The hotel is a typical old house from another era. It was smartly remastered, all the charm is still in. The service is excellent, the rooms are gorgeous, it's like travelling in time with all the comfort included.

Overview: I've visited this venue multiple times, for dinner and drinks. It is by far the fanciest, most sophisticated and picturesque venue in Beirut in terms of quality of food, interiors and even the quality of people who come. Every detail in its interiors keeps your head turning as you walk through it. Reataurant: I have tried the ground floor restaurant. Service was genuinely attentive, warm and helpful. The food selection is top quality and varied. It is pricey (a dinner for two with deserts cost 150$) but the portions are very generous and delicious. Especially the salads: try the nicoise and the shrimp avocado. The double chocolate cake was delicious yet not heavy. Service: You are personally greeted and welcomed from the moment you enter the door with genuine smiles. The waiters are happy to go beyond to help: for example I asked the waiter to add whipped cream with it and he happily did so, although it normally doesn't come with whipped cream. Location: the hotel is in a very calm street. No noisy pubs or restos next to it. No traffic or crowds. A gem in the heart of Beirut.

Hotel Albergo is a distinctive and elegant place in Beirut. This hotel is an old, upscale establishment that has recently been expanded, resulting in a variety of drinking and dining halls. The best spot during the summer is the restaurant and bar overlooking the pool on the 12th floor, with the bar annex rising by a gentle staircase above. In the winter, guests can enjoy the charming restaurant on the 9th floor. The atmosphere is wonderfully romantic, the service is professional, and the food is delicious. It's a little bit pricey, but here you enjoy what you pay ๐Ÿ˜‰ .

Albergo could easily qualify as one of the top 50 boutique hotels in the world. Every detail of the hotel is beautiful, with each room being unique. Even the amenities are selected with utmost care, and the level of service is unmatched. There is a gym, a rooftop pool, and a restaurant with a rooftop terrace in addition to other restaurant and bar options. The Lebanese breakfast is delicious and distinctive. The hotel is a hidden gem in the nicest, and central, neighborhood of the city.

Iโ€™ve been home from Beirut almost a week now but the impression Hotel Albergo and all of my encounters in Lebanon have left me missing this beautiful hotel and country so much. The warmth of the hotel staff is unmatched, their attention to detail is impeccable and their loving nature makes you feel as though youโ€™re staying with close family. Itโ€™s truly unlike any hotel stay Iโ€™ve ever experienced. Apart from the hotel staff, the features and amenities are superb. From the hotel swim club bar, terraces, rooftop pool, gym and dining areas, youโ€™ll have so much to do at Hotel Albergo. Our sincere gratitude to all of the hotel staff, including Gerard, Amigo and so many others that treated us like family. Cannot wait to be back ๐Ÿค

I tried the rooftop restaurant/ bar - swim club - and would 100% recommend..the food is delicious and it is a great place to watch the sunset. The service is also excellent. I haven't stayed at the hotel, so I can't comment on the hotel stay.

We stayed for a total of 4 nights. It is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff are brilliant, service is seamless and communal spaces are wonderfully maintained. The pool has a great atmosphere food is spot on as are drinks and itโ€™s a great โ€œbreakโ€ from busy Beirut. Will definitely return and highly recommend it forms part of your Lebanon itinerary.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the best time. The attention to detail on the interiors were outstanding. My favourite part of the hotel is the rooftop pool, which we easily spent all afternoon lying at and reading. We dined at all the different restaurants here during our stay and every meal was simply outstanding. Everyone has to do sunset cocktails at the swim club bar at least once, it is incredibly beautiful. I canโ€™t wait to come back again.

This hotel is one of the best in Beirut. Haven't stayed at the hotel but i did a tour in it and had some food and drinks on the roof, you will notice the authenticity and the beauty of all the details everywhere. The service is top notch. Note that it is pricey but of course it should be for what you're getting. Highly recommended ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Hotel Albergo is unmatched! Quietly hidden between buildings on a quiet street, you will find a rare diamond filled to the brim with the warmest personalities and vintage decor. Each room decorated so uniquely that no two rooms share the same character, there is always something new to feast your eyes on. We stayed in three different beautiful suites, the Royal Suite, Executive Suite and Standard Suite. We truly had the best time during our short stay here! Eliane (crรจme de la crรจme) and Karam were our very attentive butlers who delivered everything beyond perfection. We wish them the best and will request for them again when we return! The food has been absolutely fantastic, the fig jam is a personal favourite. Everything we ordered was spectacular, plus portion sizes are very generous. Many thanks to Alfred the General Manager - who came out of his way personally to ensure our stay was comfortable, Naji the F&B Manager is the sweetest person we have ever met and the best feeder, Suzanne the Rooms Manager (and secret florist who personally selected the flowers for our suite), Rhea the Reservations Manager and Nohad the Housekeeping Manager. The magic could not have happened without you all. We wish to also extend our gratitude to Tony, Tamim, Karl, Esper, Wissam, Samer, Yara, Leandra, and the valet team outside were the best. This hotel is fit for royalty, they can handle all requests.

I stayed at the Albergo for four nights in December. The hotel exterior and common areas are picturesque, very beautiful and design focused with so much character. We had a suite, the bedroom looked updated and well preserved however the bathroom was quite run down as the pipes are very old and so draining of the water was extremely slow which made showering unpleasant. The door handle was quite finicky so I was locked inside a number of times. The room service was incredibly delicious, our morning breakfast was sublime. The service is very good as well, however the outlets in our room did not work so this was very inconvenient. The pricing is quite high in my opinion for a suite that has 1-2 working outlets, ineffective drainage in the bathroom, and a bathtub with lots of worn marks on it. If the bathrooms were updated Iโ€™d give this place a 5/5.

Currently staying there, just wanted to say the reception team is top notch. I am here with my husband and 1 year old baby, they have made us feel so much at home and have gone above and beyond by being super helpful with every single enquiry. Considering this hotel is in a country where everything feels like an obstacle, they definitely make you forget all about obstacles! Smooth sailing and peace of mind. No better place to be.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful neighborhood. The room was spacious, decorated very individually and quiet enough to have good sleeps. The breakfast on the roof terrace is something you remember for quite some time. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The building is from the old times of Beirut gives the hotel a special atmosphere that many other and even more expensive ones are lacking.

My review is for The Lobby restaurant & bar on the ground floor of this charming hotel. This is the perfect place to retreat to when Beirut gets to you ! The restaurant is quite new, and offers all-day dining & drinks in a beautifully decorated setting. There is also a lovely courtyard for sunny days full of palms & exotic plants. The menu is small, but the food is delicious & very good quality, although possibly a bit expensive. They offer a few starters, salads, sandwiches, pasta, pizza, & divine desserts. The staff are friendly, and service is not bad. The atmosphere is cosy, chic & luxurious, so if youโ€™re looking for ultra modern zen minimalism, itโ€™s not for you ! Do reserve, as it can get quite busy. Definitely one of my favourite places to go in Beirut๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Avoid lower floor rooms - noisy all day long with the faint smell of cigarette smoke from outside. They should add more photos for each room since some color schemes are nicer than others. Rooms are clean and the furnishing is unique and historic. Bathroom only has a bathtub with no barrier - this means the shower head will spray water everywhere including the toilet. There is no ventilation in the bathroom so the entire room is wet and moist after showering. No laundry service. Request early room cleaning otherwise you might return with a messy room in the afternoon. Wifi has fast upload/download but disconnects very often (every 10-15min). Lebanese breakfast is very good. Good service and hospitality. Hotel is located in a T junction of 2 one-way streets. There is always slowed/blocked traffic during afternoon rush hour times.

Tried the rooftop restaurant in Hotel Albergo. Gotta say the overall decor of the hotel is mesmerizing! The walls, the elevator, the lobby everything is within the same unique style. As for the restaurant, the hostesses are friendly, the service is great. They have Lebanese food and international dishes too. The taste is amazing, the portions are good. Bread is served. Overall the experience was great. Thereโ€™s only one downside is that itโ€™s expensive. But will definitely try it again.
