DO NOT GO THERE! During the check in, they said the AC is working. When we entered the room the AC was not working. I called the reception, they said they will send the maintenance guy but he never came. After couple of hours, we called again, they said they will send the maintenance guy but never came!! Around 6:30pm, i called for third time, the duty manager said the central AC is turned off because some of the clients asked to shut down the AC!!! What a big lie!! At 9pm the maintenance guy came to the room and told us the AC was off because they did not have enough clients to turn it on and to cut costs !! All in all, bunch of liars and cheaters are running this hotel and I do not recommend it to anyone. Stay away from it. Should be ranked a one star hotel.

One of the worst Hotels I have ever stayed in. My flight was cancelled so I booked a room in this hotel as it claimed to be 5 stars hotel. I wouldn't give it one star, the hotel is so dirty, there were some disgusting stains on the bed sheet and a blood stain on the mattress and some old tissue. Also, the bathroom is rusty and the curtains have many visible stains. I have to mention also the outdated equipment and the cracks on the ceiling. Location is good and the staff are friendly. However, the hotel is insanely dirty and I would not recommend it to anyone. It was shameful for a 5 stars hotel with 75$ per night.

the hotel is not clean at all the 5 stars they got should be 2 starts only, customer service so slow after we have to call 5 time to got what we need

I am shocked this is considered a “5 star hotel”. The rooms smell, and are SO outdated! The bathrooms are OLD, and rusted. The staff is super friendly, but thats is about it. It’s such a shame to consider this a 5 star hotel.

Bad hotel and very bad service

We stayed at the Commodore for 10 nights. Excellent location, service, rooms, and overall value. They were always seeking feedback and wanting to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean and with fully functioning bathrooms. Location near Hamra was so convenient. Internet easy to connect to and the outdoor pool area was inviting and clean. Truly enjoyed our visit thanks to the excellent services and personalized atmosphere while away from home. It made all the difference for us. Would highly recommend!

Rooms are not clean. Poor variety of food offered in breakfast. Noisy street & windows are not noise proof. Not recommended !

The service was very good, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, there is a swimming pool only for summer, years ago had a nightclub with live Lebanese music in the basement.

The worst service I have ever had, the hotel doesn't deserve one star rate The breakfast service was not related to five star hotel. Bad house keeping service, we left our rooms from 11:00 am and went back at the evening and the room was not cleaned, several complains were reported to reception after 1 hour ( 9:30 pm) the house keeping came to clean the room. The pool is too small for 5 star hotel It was worst experience I ever had, I don't recommend this hotel at all

Price is too high and nothing special.. Too small hotel.. Located in a dirty area middle of Hamra.. Small rooms.. Dirty curtains.. The bathroom sink quickly.. You need to wipe it every time you get a shower cuz it doesn't have a whole to poor the water through.. The stuff is very helpful and friendly.. Good services overall

Their staff are great and friendly. Location is amazing if you’d like to stay in Hamra. Rooms are Okay and very good value for money; this is cheapest 5-star option we’ve found in Hamra. I wouldn’t recommend it honestly if you are planning to use the pool though.

The location is very good, staff are very nice and helpful, and it is clean. The rooms are big but the building is old. If you can't sleep at noisy places, you must bring ear plugs with you as the hotel located in a street that has some high traffic movements.

In the heart of Beirut city, just off Al Hamra Street, very tidy and clean with friendly and helpful staff. Very recommended and safe to stay as family or individual for any purpose

Conveniently located along Hamra Street in Beirut. Clean and beautiful interior with warm and friendly staff. Well aerated, spacious rooms and well equipped conference facilities; wheelchair accessible. Serves authentic Lebanese cuisine; lots of vegetarian options available on the menu.

Those responsible for the service do not care about the customer, only money, money only, and nothing else.

The service was terrible, the food was disgusting and because they overbooked we did not get a live cooking session we just got a girl that barely knows how to cook, which over cooked the meat and chicken plust i saw insects in the bathroom! NEVER AGAIN be careful do NOT go there trust me PLUS ITS TOO EXPENSIVE for bug infested a restaurant

Perfect value for money. Good rooms and great staff. The only negative thing is the pool and the pool side area. Otherwise I recommend it.

Quality and price are not matching. The 4 stars are barely 3. The room are old, cold and we had problems with the windows than could not be closed and the wc! The staff is kind but cannot help the guests properly. The area is pretty odd: half destroyed and the rest so and so! Breakfast: pretty big buffet but the bakery part was cold. Again for a reasonable price I would recommend it but for the price we spent ... go for another hotel!

A beautiful gem of a hotel located in the heart of Beirut, this place is exceptionally clean and the entire team is very very welcoming. Room was nicely furnished and the bedding was of very good quality, I loved this place and will be back for sure !!

Great hotel, that’s not my first visit to this hotel, as usual everything was nice.
