An all time favorite coffee shop. I love this place, it’s so cozy. They have the best san Sebastian cheesecake I’ve ever had. Must must visit.

Cafe Younes is one of those places you'd get addicted to. Everything is nice, the employees are very friendly, the location is beautiful .. Once you get through the door you're in another world ! And the coffee is very tasty. I tried their Wake Up Call, Hazelnut Cappuccino, Lebanese Coffee, regular Cappuccino, espresso and more. I also tried their Berries pancakes, honey and butter pancakes, granola bowl, and bagel. I also like buying their espresso beans ( they have the house blend, Colombian beans and Guatemala beans which are very nice). Long review for a great place !

Well, you’ll be surprised about the location. It is in the middle of Hamra area. Renovated house in the district and there is a room for chilling with AC in it, other room for studying which has electric plugs and there is the wonderful garden, just an amazing one. The place also sells coffee beans, grounded coffee and cups and utensils. The coffee was amazing though, really professional.

Friendly staff, with a great place to eat or work. The Wi-Fi connection is good and stable, and they have many options of locations to sit, such as outside, inside, or in a small section on your own. They have a wide variety of food, each looks equally delicious. I ordered the banana peanut butter smoothie and avocado feta bagel, and it was very good, just the right taste. The prices were relatively cheap considering other places, too. Definitely would go again. My only complaint is the chairs were uncomfortable to sit on after a few hours.

The best coffee shop in Beirut with the best garden area perfect for catch-up up with friends and family or even working. I had the crème brûlée coffee and they torch the top in front of you so it’s hot and delicious!

I passed by Cafe Younes earlier today, the ambience is really chill and arabesque. The music is nice. The staff was very friendly. As for the food and drinks. I had fresh orange juice which was good, I really enjoyed that they chose to use paper straws. I also had a biscuit au chocolate which was tasty.

The garden is filled with rats right next to the kitchen. The food is tasteless and disgusting. If hygiene is not important to you, Stick to coffee.

During my last visit, i found this lovely place in Beirut. its truly secret spot with cozy atmosphere and great backyard. Perfect place for first coffee, or to chill and check your emails if you traveling around. They are serving very tasty turkish coffee. Long story short - caffe younes is in my bookmarks as a favorite place in Beirut.

Impressive unique place! Coffee is good with variety of interesting menus!!! I ordered egg your way, festive cappuccino and cold brew. All amazing! Even than that the price is quiet good despite amazing active service from staff, the atmosphere, and everything.. worth the visit and will definitely come back again! You know, there's a myriad of places to have a coffee in Beirut. Of course, the most prominent tend to be the global names mass producing a product and taste that's recognisable whichever country you're in. However, if you want the authentic taste of a local roastary that's been in the business of blending coffee since before most of us were born, you cannot go wrong with Café Younes. Nestled in a Hamra side street, just follow your nose to find it. Once there, you have the choice of the beaten up benches outside the original shop, where you can sit and savour an expertly brewed coffee, or the more upmarket place adjoining it, where you can also enjoy an expertly brewed coffee but in more comfortable surroundings. You can get a variety of snacks and dishes there, too. I love my coffee and can honestly say that Younes is the best in town. Go there, you won't be disappointed!

Best coffee shop in Beirut! Whether to sit for a café, latté, cappuccino, a breakfast or a dessert, or to take home their fleshly roasted and ground signature coffees. Baristas are welcoming, well trained and knowledgeable. The management has attention to details and continuous follow up. What else to ask for? 5 stars and a big heart! ❤️🌟

Best coffee place in Beirut by far. They have a roaster. Fresh coffee. The backyard seating is amazing . Service is great, and prices are reasonable.

  • 4/5 Salua K. 4 years ago on Google
Nice service. However, my drink was not so good. I ordered a cold cappuccino and I got a cold latte (too much milk). My friends loved their drinks though. In all, our waiter was nice and took a pic of us. Smiley and friendly guy.

Café Younes is one of my favorite coffeeshops around Beirut. The place is suitable for meeting up with friends or colleagues, sipping your coffee by yourself, or working from there. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff are very friendly. They serve some of the best Arabian blends that you can taste in the capital. Their prices are reasonable and affordable. Out of all their branches in Beirut, their location in Hamra is my favorite because it's spacious, it has an outdoor seating in a garden, which is also tempting for you to read a book. The café is located in the heart of Hamra, but is quiet enough for you to escape the city rush. If you are a fan of heritage buildings, you'll probably fall in love with the architecture, tiles, and patterns at this branch.

An institution in Lebanon! There are two Cafe Younes outlets next door to each other. One is a restaurant while the other is purely a coffee shop where you can get a beverage to go or buy coffee beans. I love the latter, which is the original Cafe Younes and is situated right on the corner. The environment is great, coffee is superb, and prices are more than fair.

Excellent coffee and atmosphere. Needs to work on knowledge of staff and upselling especially that I love what the brand is about.

  • 5/5 Nicolette H. 2 years ago on Google
Food and drinks are excellent. Coffee is freshly roasted, and we love their hot and cold chocolate drinks. Ambiance can't be beat, especially if you are lucky enough to snag a spot in the garden, which can quickly get busy. Baked goods could use some work... most seem like they've been sitting in the refrigerator for a few days. It's a great place to study or get work done in the morning before the lunch rush starts, after which is stays pretty busy until late at night.

Very nice location, also the food and drinks are good only the service is not very good. Service is very slow, not experienced, don’t check up on u…. But at least friendly:) All in all I can recommend, if you have time.

Cafe Younes - this location is a bigger place than other locations. Has indoor and outdoor and located in a quiet street. It is a place where you can drink, study and enjoy talking with friends.

Second visit to this branch , very loud music in the garden , so we sat inside, the study room smells awfully bad especially when they open the door to the store room that's supposed to have ice cubes there , i think the ministry of health should pay the place a visit check how they store ice and ingredients. The cold brew coffee is bitter awful only the cakes were okay. We ordered cold drinks because the coffee machine was broken 😅 never going back there.

This is THE place to go to get a feel of old Beirut. The whole coffee shop is in an old house. Make sure you sit on the back patio that has the feel of what Beuriti backyards were like back in the 1950s.

Cafe Younes is in Hamra. It is a nice little place serving food and drinks. It also does shisha. The staff are very friendly. The food and drinks were very nice though a bit pricey . It is a popular place and at times is very busy. A nice place to relax and catch up.
