Great experience, wonderful view of Beirut, one of best service, very friendly and helpful team, music is very nice and of course the food is very tasty and every visitor should try the scallops and foie gras hot appetizer.

The ambiance is nice and quite chic, that’s probably the only good thing about this place. They don’t mention the prices on the menu, this is a major red flag. The beef tacos had a terrible odor but covered with the amount of spice on it. Our food came 1 hour late after we placed the order. We had mentioned it to the waiter and as an unprofessional he just kept saying it will be here in a minute. The lamb chops were such a bad decision that I regretted later that evening. It had such a foul odor but again hidden with the spices. Nothing special at all. We had attended a birthday and they brought the cake without any plates and without the knife, they also forgot to put the candles that we had bought with the cake. The entire bill was close to 400 USD. That is literally insane, you would get a better service in dubai with that price. Later that evening I had food poisoning and vomited everything. Totally not worth coming to in Lebanon.

Cocktails are amazing, best I've ever tried in Lebanon. Prices are fair for the drinks, as they are not watered down like other places in Lebanon. The sunsets here are amazing with great music. Service is also great. Highly recommend visiting it for sunset as they also have really good music during sunset.

Shocked to recieve this bad service as a regular. The wine we ordered was not what we asked for. They just took advantage of the 18 guest table and poured it. All who ate sashimi clams have mild food poisoning. The plates were rushed very quickly after each other. Bad experience

This is definitely the place if you want to impress a loved one or friends. The view is great, the service and food are top notch and deserve it. It is good to make a reservation in advance, even if you are a foreigner, reservations are accepted. I will definitely visit again. Well done

Cons: the screening receptionist told us we only have one hour as its full which wasn't the case. When we left yesterday night around 10pm it was still half empty. The crab tacos tasted weird. A fridge taste. Something odd was stored next to the crabs i guess. Pros: Very attentive staff. Fast service from kitchen and waiters. The food were sumptuous and the drinks were top notch.

Such an amazing place. Perfect place for sunset drinks, sushi is super fresh and tasty. All the staff very friendly and helpful. They have gluten free soy sauce and they are well trained about the allergens.

It’s a lovely place to go, the food and the drinks were absolutely gorgeous, the design is beautiful and the vibes are just great. We tried the Edamame, Beef Tacos, Rock Shrimp Tempura, the Salmon Tartare and the SAIN ROLLS (CRISPY SHRIMP & CHU-TORO and th UNAGI SONOMONO ROLL) and we loved them, they were flavorful and fresh. Also the cocktails looked very good and the views are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and welcome and they help you with any questions you might have. Definitely recommend it for drinks and a great dinner in Beirut!

he place has such a nice location and ambience to it that embraces the experience through its good food taste and quality. However, this was to my shock since I have been a customer for a time that the staff can be this disrespectful, vulgar, and unprofessional. First, waiters not leaving the table and insisting on making us order drinks asking several times. Second, gossiping next to our table where they didn’t leave the whole time in such a vulgar, cheap, and low level that doesn’t fit the restaurant level. Third, they brought the cake to the table eventhough did not ask them for and was waiting for us to leave making judgments which influences the customers comfort where the customer is supposed to feel very welcomed, appreciated, and most importantly comfortable in which none of these qualities were there. Overall, rude, judgemental, disrespectful, and vulgar waiters.

Beautifully decorated Japanese rooftop Restaurant in the center of downtown Beirut. Great atmosphere with a superb view, music and service. Menu includes international items for non-sushi eaters. The selection of maki is very limited though. Food was great although being a bit pricey and having tiny portions. Will definitely go back but most likely for drinks rather than dinner.

Beautiful maximum Friendly staff maximum Ambience is maximum Delicious maximum Well, it ticks all the the boxes of a great sunset rooftop lounge and ticks all the boxes of a fine dining fusion Japanese concept. If in Beirut, do not miss Clap! But make sure you’ve deep enough pockets because the prices are maximum too!

Starting with the negative point, first the place offered a Horrible reception i never experienced something like that i hope they do a restaff in that department. Food & service are top notch orders were fast and delicious. In the end it’s a good place to try that offers an exclusive view and service, but put in mind you might dislike the reception.

Unfortunately there is no option for higher than 5 stars!!! Marvellous at all levels!! Left us speechless, for the top and Ultra dining experience, amazing and so proud with such places!

The food was average and small portions, overpriced. This rating is really for the incredible atmosphere and vibe they create with the live music. There's a nice cocktail selection but we didn't find any (the 4 of us) liked.

We had dinner at Clap Beirut. The ambience is beautiful, the fire torches are a nice touch, The scenery is amazing. The staff is very friendly. As for the food we had the Clap Salad, the ribeye, the chocolate fondant, and the mixed crumble, everything tasted really good. All in all the experience was really good.

At Clap u can Enjoy the chic and relaxed ambience, lounge DJ tunes and a selection of Asian fusion bar bites, hand crafted sushi and fresh classic and signature cocktails. Clap offers a  fantastic panoramic views over the ocean, along with great vistas of the Beirut skyline, brand new and modern decor on the terrace ,Indoor and Outdoor sitting area with a Bar Set-up available. The sushi was good but the décor overpowers it. It's Great for a night out with friends

We had a very good time there. It's great for a special occasion, I'm not so sure it's a good venue for 'everyday' because of the price point. Overall, it was very enjoyable. The atmosphere is very nice! The food was EXCELLENT! Although very small portions. We had a salmon ceviche, black rice crab tartar, black cod and shrimps on some leaves (for the name)... it was all very tasty. Even the cocktails were great. If you're coming for the sunset, you do get the 'vibe' but don't actually see the sun because the Four Seasons hotel completely blocks it - at least it did in early July when we visited. Oh, and for some reason, you get reminded like 10 times that you need to leave by 9 if you're visiting in the first shift or whatever. I found that very annoying and inhospitable.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Clap Beirut Restaurant recently, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the décor was modern and stylish. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Beirut.

We were served our main course after 15 minutes of promotional instagram pictures taken by their staff leaning over the food and blowing smoke through it Please note the raw sashimi was under attack by a cell phone for that much time. We noted this to the manager who was unaware of what was going on and offered us 15% discount on a $220 bedroom bill to make this up after having complained very strongly for food that at that point should have be served for free since it was used as promotion. How can photos be more important than the freshness of the food being served? We are talking about raw food being exposed to cell phone bacteria and radiation as the pictures being taken were so close up that we saw his armpit going over the food. I would say this is unacceptable for a restaurant that is supposed to be of that caliber. I will not mention how bad the manager handled this incident definitely made things way worse than they actually were. Shame on clap when they present their fish all wrapped up in plastic on their counters to show their clensiness but then when the food is being served the safety and health protocols are completely neglected. Just terrible experience and will never ever return.

As for the food everything was delicious especially their rolls and the rock shrimps!! The music is perfect.... the style of music is perfect for dining and gathering. Beautiful ambiance !!! You can take a drink on the bar with adding some appetisers : The chili edamame, tacos & dumplings are recommended. Very recommended place.

We had a birthday at this place, food was great, service is perfect, Drinks are delicious. When we wanted to take the cake with us when leaving , we found out that some of their staff ate half of it! Is this normal ?

  • 3/5 Tamim 1 year ago on Google
I will rate it as follows : 1- cleanness 5 🌟 2- service 5 🌟 3- restaurant design and layout 5 🌟 4- cooked food can range from 5 to 4 🌟 5- Zero 🌟 for raw salmon and Tuna (raw fish) . The Tuna amd Salmin tartar Was so fishy and i couldn't swallow it. I believe the electricity issue has effected the restaurant's ability to preserve the food. maybe the other reason that the demand of raw fish is so little and it stayed long at the fridge. I am sorry to say, but i had to go to toilet and spit the Maki roll.. It's disappointing that a high end restaurant like Clap Beirut had this issue. We people in Beirut must be disappointed to have what we consider one of the best/top 5 restaurants in Beirut has such issue... And overall that, i had to pay almost $300 for my bill (2 people)

👍 It was so crowded but the view is very nice over the coast. It reminded me of our Egyptian coast in Alexandria. The food was nice. I tried the grilled chicken with the Lebanese appetizers. The service wasn’t up to standard due to rush and May be language barrier 😁 but overall was nice.
