I visited Lost on a Monday afternoon and regrettably had an unpleasant experience. We ordered a truffle pizza, margarita pizza, and a risotto. Our disappointment began when the waitress informed us that they were out of burrata just when the truffle pizza was almost ready to be served. Unfortunately, the truffle pizza arrived dry and lacking in cheese, leaving us underwhelmed. To make matters worse, the truffle pizza was incredibly soggy. We brought this issue to the waitress's attention, but she seemed to brush it off, promising to inform the chef, which apparently she did not do. We were left without an apology for the subpar dining experience. Our final disappointment came with the lemon risotto, which was far from enjoyable. It had an overwhelming and unpleasant onion flavor, with sizable, unappetizing onion chunks that made the dish nearly inedible. Overall, my visit to Lost on that particular Monday was marred by a series of disappointments. The lack of burrata, the soggy truffle pizza, and the unpalatable lemon risotto left a lot to be desired in terms of both food quality and customer service.

Rooms are chic but pretty bare essential (unless you’re into that industrial vibe). Front desk super nice and friendly. Unfortunately the positives stopped there - super loud at night, bar downstairs very unfriendly, and the most disappointing of all is that the Wifi doesn’t really work! All for $160 a night in Beirut - do yourself a solid and book a boring business hotel. At least you can get a good night of sleep with functioning wifi.

Tried the bar there, this place also is a hotel and they have a lobby and soon opening a restaurant next door. The bar is very nice, and the cocktails are excellent. What really stands out in this place is the feeling of familiarity, starting from the staff (special thanks to Sary, the bartender who was very friendly and helpful), also the beautiful decoration which gives you a feeling of relaxation and the location that provides the Gemayze street vibe! Great place for after work drinks, and generally for groups of friends. Recommended

A lovely cosy place in very nice neighbourhood. Many good bars and restaurants in the surrounding not to mention that hotel itself has bar that serves perfect cocktails. Hotel is small and you’ll soon be acknowledged with all the staff who are very attentive and ready to help. Design of hotel and rooms is nice and stylish. I would recommend if you want to get a sense of Beirut and it’s nightlife. The latter is to consider should you be travelling with small kids, it might be a bit loud outside in the evening.

This was a great boutique hotel to stay in for my first visit to Beirut. The design of the rooms and common areas are beautiful, and the breakfasts were fantastic. The service at times wasn’t the most friendly, but for the most part everyone was quite cool. The vibe and energy at night is great, and the location is perfect, as it’s walkable to so many restaurants, cafés, and sightseeing. Will definitely stay here when I return to Lebanon.

Nice place for staycation, in the heart of Beirut Gemmayze. The staff are very helpful and amazing. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you ♥️

Cute bar but I’m not sure why a basic drink is $10+… really nothing special about their cocktails

small and cozy hotel on the best part of Gouraud, next to all bars and restaurants. Everybody was very friendly. We loved the rooms and their unique design.

Everything about this hotel was perfect! I still cannot get over how chic the rooms are. So funky! It's like an Amsterdam hostel vibe but without the hostel part. It is the true Beirut experience, located on Gemayze street, opposite the famous Mar Mikhael stairs. It cannot get better than that. The hotel has the most amazing food, with a wood fire oven that serves up the best pizza! Breakfast is great, everything is of the highest standards. The hotel has its own bar, that is bustling at night. The staff is friendly, welcoming and a special thanks to the manager Ronny who looked after me throughout the trip. Everyone was helpful and you could tell they enjoyed working there. I cannot wait to come back!

Awesome stay at Hotel Lost! Everything was perfect - the rooms were clean and fully stocked, the bar and restaurants were lively and delicious, and the staff was wonderful. The hotel is in a perfect location within close walking distance to many great bars, restaurants, coffee shops etc and they’re adding additional rooms in the building across the street which should be available to accommodate additional guests in early 2023. Will absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

Hotel Lost is a lovely spot in the heart of Gemmayzeh. The location is near so many lovely galleries, restaurants, pubs and shops that show off the history and beauty of Beirut. The rooms are large and the shared spaces between the rooms are a great space to gather. The bathrooms are renovated and clean and the staff was helpful. The restaurant/bar has amazing pasta and pizza. I highly recommend.

Amazing location in Gemmeyze area where you have a lot of really nice cafes, bars, and pubs at walking distance. MarMikhail area with plenty of bars and restos are also walking distance Room is cozy but quite small. toilet, sink and shower are within the room itself not in a separate room. all that separates them from the bed is a glass partition wall. Situated in an old building with really high ceilings you will have that warm vibe to it. If you get a 2nd or 3rd floor you'll have a bit of a journey up the stairs. Breakfast is a la carte and not a buffet. The options are ok with one choice of item, and a hot beverage included. Staff are friendly and very helpful I honestly felt it was a bit overpriced for what's on offer. You can get better equipped rooms at half the price with more generous breakfasts included. However, probably they will be in less cooler locations and with a less 'Hip" vibe.

Basic room. Not luxurious. No tea/coffee provided. No fridge. Main focus of business is bar downstairs which is full of trendy clicky locals (dont expect anyone to talk to you). Location is good with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. However street is very noisy at night with music blaring and in the morning garbage trucks from collection point close by. Value for money poor in my book. I paid USD130 for a basic room. Even though i had a booking they tried to charge me USD175 a night! Organised a half day trip to wineries in Bekaa valley through hotel. Guide was nice guy but didn't know about wine or which were boutique wineries worth visiting. Just took me to largest 2 producers. Not worth the the effort and cost (USD130) to get there to taste few wines you can buy in corner stores in Beirut.

We were having dinner at their restaurant on a table that was already booked and we were supposed to move to another table. They couldn’t wait one minute to move us to the next table while we were finishing the last bite. Two waiters came to kick us, one of them was the manager. We were literally having the last bite. We understand that other people were waiting for their table. But they could have waited just for 30 seconds for us to finish and move. But the waiters decided differently. They were rude and unprofessional.

The worst people working there from the manager who was not helpful with anything after complaining about how rudely were treated by the staff with our inquiries getting the response “ figure it out”. We decided to get food and a drink at the bar the bartender was very rude and seemed high on something. We paid 140 usd for a one night stay in a hotel that has no elevator, no room service nothing and to top all of that the people working there are stupidly rude. I don’t recommend anyone staying there i have stayed in cheaper hotels in beirut with way better hospitality

I cannot begin to express how incredibly professional and generous the team and friends at Lost are, the rooms are a true representation of Arabic culture, the hospitality is seccond to none and all the help and support is beyond. I highly recommend to stay at lost, especially there new concept across the road. It’s defiantly a Lebanon MUST. Manager Roy, is incredible and his team are always there to help and assist. Thank you Lost!!!!!

A beautiful boutique hotel in Gemmayze. The stylish decor and excellent food is only surpassed by the friendliest staff that made my trip to Beirut unforgettable. (I honestly want to keep this place a secret, but that would be selfish lol!!) I can't wait to go back!

The Hotel is awesome. The people behind the Hotel are so kind, friendly and really helpful. From the first second you feel welcome. The spot is great to stay in Beirut. Perfect with great restaurants and bars in the near surrounding. But the food and the drinks in the Hotel are amazing! Thank you for make my trip so great!

This is a hidden gem. Boutique style hotel, very well located for day time touring by foot or enjoying the night life. Very clean, great staff, extremely cool rooms, great breakfast, awesome bar and coffee shop. Just all round a brilliant place to stay. We usually stay in the more well known 5* hotels, but decided we wanted a different experience, and we are glad that we did. What a great find. Thank you!

I was lost and I found myself here. No but seriously the hotel is amazing, thanks to the wonderful people working there. One of the most comfortable stays I’ve had in a hotel ever. The location is spectacular. The rooms are cozy and clean. The colored tiles and walls give the rooms a beautiful ambiance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They really care about their guests and would go beyond expectations to make them feel at home.

STAY AT THIS HOTEL! What an incredible experience my wife and I had at LOST. We cannot say enough good things about this place. The breakfast is really good, gourmet prepared food. The rooms are clean, perfect size, with nice beds and fluffy pillows. The hotel has 24/7 electricity during the current crisis and is located in a perfect spot for restaurants and nightlife. The lobby bar is such a fun place to hang out with excellent craft cocktails. But the real treasure at LOST is the staff. Everyone is so warm and welcoming and works really hard to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Not only did we feel cared for and comfortable, we felt like family by the time we left. This is a rare and magical thing at any hotel: to feel like you are coming home when you enter. The staff at LOST will personally take care of you in Lebanon, ensuring you not only enjoy Beirut but leave having created new friendships. Thank LOST for such a wonderful experience, we cannot wait to return!

The eatery is a nice pit stop for a meeting or lunch and coffee, has the whole Gemmayzi trettoire appeal. Covid friendly, laptop friendly, and in my pov better food options than Sip near by which I think is a sister coffee shop. The egg avocado with hazelnuts makes for a pretty unique flavor profile, Halloumi avocado club also good; side salad is just a mountain of parsley. Pertty but that’s it :p.

I wish I can give this a 5 stars because it has the potential. Location is great. Very clean and cool with great attention to details and they had a tooth brush which was great. Check in was horrible. Door closed at 10 pm with no signs. I go to the bar and the guy says he will meet me and no one shows up. I go back and the checkin process takes 20 min with changing 3 rooms and walking in to someone in a room... No direction on how i access the internet ( found out the next morning the note) and he said 24/7 power.. not the case. Power was out for many hours during the night and at 1 am when i came back. Unfortunately I will not be baxk. Simply bad experience.

The hotel is super comfortable and very Beirut typical, and the service was amazing! The hotel is located in a vibrant and nice street of the capital with many options for food and drinks around. Even the food and drinks of the hotel are great! The manager (and the staff in general) was very welcoming and helpful and helped us to accommodate a big group that came for our wedding from abroad. I would recommend to anyone definitely!!! :D

Wonderful place. Wonderful bar and restaurant. Wonderful rooms. Wonderful location in the heart of Beirut in. Above all, wonderful friendly people and smart mood. The perfect way to live the so known Lebanese hospitality. Keep it up.

Without any doubt the best hotel in Beirut. The hotel is really charming and well designed, rooms are beautiful and super comfortable! The bed is really nice too! Location is just perfect, most trendy and vibrant neighborhood in Beirut. *The best part is the staff who is just incredible - so helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Roy who was a star from beginning to end.* We booked several rooms for us and friends coming to our wedding and he made sure their stay was perfect. Can’t thank him enough for everything he did! Everyone loved it. When you go to Lost, you know you’re going home. Can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to be back soon!!

Chic hotel with taste. My room had high ceilings and room furniture was curated well with nice touch of details. I had a room with balcony with nice street view. The best part was the staff were very friendly. I am very happy with my experience and highly recommend it!

Nicely located at the heart of Gemmayzeh. Beautifully designed rooms. Since its location, it is quite noisy at night and early morning. Staff is friendly, they can uplift service a bit more.

We visited the bar for drinks and some food. Even though the staff were very friendly and the music and ambience were good, but the drinks and food were a disappointment. The drinks were overpriced, and the glasses were mostly filled with ice, you can barely taste the drink. As for the food, the portions were very small and lacked any taste.

Very nice boutique hotel with a great location in the heart of Gemmayze, and within short walking distance from Mar Mkhayel, Achrafieh etc.. The room was very clean and with a lot of character. (The pictures really don't do it justice). The sound insulation was good, I didn't need to use my ear plugs to sleep despite being in a very lively part of Gemmayze. Roy and the rest of the staff were super friendly and accommodating.

My husband and I stayed at Lost during the week of our wedding celebrations. A number of our friends stayed here as well. The hotel is very well situated, especially for anyone who’s visiting Beirut for the first time. The service was incredible. The rooms were always clean. In addition, the breakfast was delicious and an amazing way to start the day. Would highly recommend!
