Beirut is such a beautiful place to live or just visit. I was there for two years and only have positive things to say. I hope to return soon.

Sadly not as i remember it to be! It used to be a place full of life now it's like a ghost town. Still people are amazing there, beautiful architecture, right next to the sea! The vibe was good as you can go there for walks and see the beautiful history of this country! I do recommend visiting even for one time

Beautiful and Unique architecture, it differs from other areas in Beirut. There is Souk El Tayeb Farmers' Markey of Lebanese traditional foods every Wednesday and Saturday. It has tasty Lebanese Foods.

One of the most beautiful downtowns in the world. It combines the old with the new. You can find all the brands here. Lots of cafes, restaurants, and nightlife.

Gorgeous and although more modern-looking compared to most of Lebanon, historical area. One of the most popular places with many, many people coming here. You can shop, dine, tour the historical spots such as Petit Serail, the cathedral or mosque, the souk, and much more! It's beautiful during the winter season. Lebanon truly loves expressing the holiday season with many decorations and sparking lights - especially in popular spots such as downtown!

A good renovation of what once was city of law and ancient architecture. Very good place for shopping and sightseeing.

It is a beautiful place, you will find old churches and mosques, cafes and restaurants... There is a nice mall Beirut Soucks, but this isn't the cheapest place... souvenirs, magnets and other things are expensive.

One of the best places I have visited in Beirut. Really loved the mix of historical and modern shops. The place is surrounded with great cafes to relax and chill with friends and family.

5 only for the architecture. After several visits to Lebanon, I find that this city is the anti-Lebanon, without Beirut Lebanon would be a fantastic country and I think really peaceful. It was difficult for me in the middle of the crisis in a country without electricity to see all these Porches, Bentleys or other luxury cars, this city is certainly one of the most corrupt in the world. And I can't understand this stupidity of a part of the population "don't go and eat there, it's dirty and it's not good" and often the opposite. No Beirut I still can't appreciate and understand

Saddly, due to covid and latest events in Lebanon, it was like a ghost town 😢 Most shops and malls were closed

Lebanon from the airport, has a whole history, of struggles, like species and rebirth, just like Fenix, always rising from the ashes

Very clean witha mixture of modern and older style architecture that makes you feel like you're in europe somewhere. There are all sorts of stores here from highend brands like Louis Vuitton, Patek Philippe to brands like Zara, H&M.
