Food was decent. Service was excellent. Came here on a Saturday evening to settle down for a lengthy dinner, belly dancer shower and shisha. It was extremely entertaining, not to mention felt like a true Lebanese experience! Shisha was wonderful. I strongly recommend this place.

One of the tastiest Lebanese food I have ever had😍 We tried different items from the Mezza, everything was delicious. They make plat du jour, very tasty and affordable. The desserts were original and extremely good. The overall seating was comfortable with historical designs. If you’re into Lebanese food, you should definitely add this place to your list. We spent 3 hours there and did not feel the time.

Nice location in Gemayzeh. The decoration is nicely done and inside it has a big open space inside with natural light coming from Outside . The food was good and tasty. The service is also good and the team is friendly . Only the desert they don’t have many options but it is understood with the current market situation.

Rebuilt after the disaster the place is very unique and classy with a touch of lebanese tradition, foodwise : “djaj 3al 5feef“ was a great choice for someone who doesn’t want a lot of carbs, and shawarma bel foron was very delicious take my advice and drink their laban with your meal. I previously visited this place three years and it was a great with a singer and her band and a very delicious set menu, I hope those nights well be back after the pandemic is over.

My favorite lebanese restaurant in Gemmayze!! You have to try taboulet dar, and the have good vegetarian and vegan options, plus the have daily lebanese dishes

Vibe was amazing! My husband and I had an awesome night! The singer had an amazing voice and interacted with the audience which was great ! Food was amazing too , we had a minor issue but that was resolved quickly thanks to the staff. Thank you for an awesome experience!

I just moved to Lebanon/Beirut, and this is where I had my first meal. Wow, it did not disappoint! Great decor and a fantastic mural in this place. Food was all delicious, I highly recommend the pesto halloumi.

I had a wonderful lunch here yesterday. I wanted to try a different restaurant today so I went to a different highly rated restaurant and ordered smiliar things. Food was nowhere as good so I was very disappointed. It made me realize how much I liked Dar el Gemmayzeh. I will return.

Amazing! The live music was wow!! Would love to come here again! The food was perfect! This place deserves 6 stars. Live music is Thursday and Saturday night and it’s worth it!! Per person is 38$ without hookah and it’s still a great deal for what you get. The hookah is 10/10. Anyone who wants to have a good time come here

Great chicken pesto, very affordable and a nice variety. Only glitch is a delay in some of the plates. Setup is easy on the eye!

Kahwet Leila rebranded. How they do it I don’t know. But food is delicious, decor is stunning and staff is great - a la libanais. So delicious - I can not describe. So sad I don’t live in Beirut for this restaurant.

The service is very bad and the shisha can be mush better and tasty with the view but the fatet homus is delicious and the caramel lattte well be tasty if creamer and it's too expansive but i like very much the view and it's the only think make me come back in other time i hope to be fast in the service and this bread is tasty and we need more tissue's thank you so much

We had lunch there and it was delicious! The waiters were nice and helpful. So many good choices on the menu. The ingredients were fresh, you can taste it! It's not just typical lebanese food. It's tasteful lebanese food. The portions were generous as well. We ordered fattouch, rocca with grilled eggplant salad, hindbeh(i dont usually like hindbeh, but i ate it and didn't regret it at all), the potato provincial was yummy and the chocolate fondant was lovely. The interior design is also marvelous! The only thing that was not good was the fact that everyone was smoking inside. I don't think they had a non smoking area.

One of best meals I had in Beirut. The service and Lebanese cuisine was fabulous. Very comfortable and elegant seating.

The place is nice, the ambiance is traditional. Portions are fair and prices are affordable. The service was friendly and attentive. The problem was that they were a lot of mosquitos.

Food was very amazing and crew is very friendly. I tried hummus, tabbule and a fish named "bizri" which is fried sardines. All of them were amazing. Prices are a bit much but if you are 2 people they have portions that would be much cheaper.

consistency in delivering great food! this place became my go to when i dont know what to eat. everytime i order from there i knew that its gonna be good, and this is being delivered, i wonder how good would it be if i ate at their place. i should visit soon!

Food is tasty and the portions are large. We should have stopped at mezze. The restaurant was not that crowded when we went and the service was really quick. I had jallab for the first time, and I'm glad I tested it here because it was excellent.

We loved this place so much we went twice during our stay in Beirut. The food is really delicious, you should try the fettoush salad and the Beirutian humus.

Lovely place and food

Place is beautiful with good vibe. But food is awful. For 10 us I ordered the special of the day, fish sayyadieh. Got a tiny sliver of cheap frozen mackerel (cheap fish) full of bones. Accompanying rice fatty and not flavorful. Go for shisha, drinks and atmosphere but do not order food. Also ignore owner staring at customers from behind his lap top. Comes with the terrain.
