I am glad sporting club made some renovation it was about time . Location is perfect . U get to experience the local feel and u bump into regulars. Prices of the food are on the high range though . Its practical since located in the heart of the manara .

WeekDAY review: The service was fast and friendly. We ordered Tawouk platter and it was so fresh and delicious. Clean place, the entrance fee for weekdays 20$, weekends 30$

We came in and we wanted to enter the resort. So we come up to the cashier and it was the end of the day like around 3:30 pm so we asked if there is a discount, she rudely responded back: IT IS WHAT IT IS IS 450,000 LL so my friend has $100 bill so the exchange rate is 28,400 for a dollar so she said we exchange at 25,000 LL for a dollar. They literally just robbed us infront of everyone because we were tourists. Very poor customer service. I do not recommend at all. Stay away from those thieves as everything there is overpriced anyways. Not worth it

Service is ok, view is amazing, vibes are ok they did some renovation in the toilets and showers better than before, but I think it’s a bit expensive! As I live in Beirut and want something close by me for sun bathing few times a week 20-30 entrance fees is expensive, you still want to get some food and drinks!

Very overrated place. I dont understand the fuss about this pool, okay the location is in the heart of beirut but the view is regular. It’s rundown and it needs so mich maintenance, it has potential to be great but it isn’t as so many Lebanese paint it to be 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Very nice place with great service. Pools are filled with sea water. Kids pool water is changed everyday! Possibilities to swim within the sea, we can easily see many fishes when snorkeling. Food with good quality as well. Next visit, I will ask if we could get food from the Feluka restaurant at the pool as well. Very relaxing, customers are respectful and facilities are well maintained. Very Good for families (if not the best place to go with kids).

If your looking for a place to relax and escape the hectic life of the city, then this is the place. This place goes back to the golden age of Beirut the capital of Lebanon. It's famous for its location. Its good for family and friends. Just a hint: the drinks and food are too expensive just like anyplace of such sort in Lebanon.

This place discriminates against hijabis. I’m not Muslim but was very surprised to see this message at the entrance. After asking why they had this policy the man answered: “We have rules.” I told him that these rules were discriminatory and he replied that they were not discriminatory, but “just rules.” Well… yeah… discrimination is based on rules that exclude people. Shame!

I am updating my rating to 4 stars from 3 and here are the pros and cons I initially used 3 starts since I was trying to be neutral as I was not clear about a recent event whereby a person of color was refused entry based on that status alone. ( if true then no stars and place should be shut down is only option). i do not have the facts. However sporting Managemeent have explained the reasons and whether you believe it or not they have either learned their lesson or as they said were misunderstood about the reason for denial. So that event apart. Pros -Authentic no flash. -Good pool options. -Sea option -As a lap swimmer I appreciate the large sea water pool. -Management were quick to respond to 3 star rating asking what they can do to improve (see recommendations below) -I learned how to swim here so a bit of nostalgia (-; Cons -Service is so so -Pricey -Since this is a sports club (sporting club hint hint) there should be more done for those that come to train such as Roped up part of the pool for laps maybe in the morning. Institute early bird pricing for the those that come for the sport and only stay a short time (pay full and if you leave before xx:xx am you get x% back) not too complicated logistically For example pay lbp 30,000 if you leave by 10:00am you get 10,000 back.

Went there for a quick bite. It was so silent and relaxing. The weather was nice and the view breathtaking. We had sambousek, fatayer and kebbe. They were fresh and not oily. Service was fast.

Enjoyed the salmon tacos for lunch and the first swim of the year. The water was coold but so refreshing. It was good to see so much renovation underway preparing for the summer season.

The owner is very kind and really made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. I have been to lebanon many times but never to a beach club, it was a cool experience that they use the saltwater from the ocean for the pool, people are very friendly inside and the service was very good as well. Watching the sunset here was magical ❤️

The waiters are thieves. When you ask for the bill they don’t provide you with one, but instead, ask you for a random amount. When you insist on a written bill, you discover that they rounded up the amount and charged the wrong item price to the menu. This happened every time I went there. So I would recommend getting a menu before ordering and not paying without a bill. On top of it, the service is terrible and the food is not what it used to be. What a pity for such a historical place.

Great spot in the heart of Beirut. There are swimming pools for adults & kids, a tidal pool, and various ladders and ways of getting into the Mediterranean ocean, plus a floating raft to relax on. With water toys like canoes & sups, and waiters to attend to one's every need, and comfortable loungers placed on different decks & levels, this is a place to relax & play in style.

Great place to visit for some welcome clean air in this city. The entrance fee is fairly expensive as a guest and beach towels cost an additional 5 US dollars. The food is average but there's an atmosphere to the place, wonderful views and a chance to swim in the sea. On balance worth the outlay.

Traditional sporting club with a restaurant and drinks and snack service. The entrance is 20 US$ during the week and gives you access to the salt water pools. There are also some entrance points to the sea. The personal helps you find a spot, organises you sun-beds and also brings you drinks on request. Prices are fair and service is generally quite fast. Most people leave before sunset. You also have a little cross fit area and some space to play different kinds of ball games.

Beautiful still scene to calm the mind. If it's not busy it's THE place to chill, have a beverage and their famous peanuts. They bring you seating, table and lounges if you want to rent. They have a pool or jump into the ocean. Great little peaceful visit from the hustle and bustle life of Lebanon.

The parking was an issue, very crowded, and the pool is pretty salty. But nice environment and good food :)

Very nice sun bathing location. Pools are very clean, staff is friendly to an extent, very poor follow up when it comes to food and beverage service. If you're looking for a good spot to sun bathe in a quiet location this is the spot for you. Average age of clientele on a weekday is definitely in the 60s.

Best place in town to get the local feel and the best views of Beirut’s skyline. Perfect at sunset too! Don’t expect 5 stars treatment and we love it for that
