After trying several famous hospitals in Beirut we felt more comfortable in the Saint George (Roum) Hospital. The medical staff is excellent on all levels: Doctors, Nurses and Helpers, especially the human aspect. The minus star is due to the greedy behavior of their finance administration. You need to be formally clear from the beginning on your rights and your insurance coverage.

For the amount of money you’ll pay at this hospital - minimum you should have a quality service. However, that wasn’t my case. It’s by far the worst experience you could get. The staff are rude, they don’t care for there patients & they are uneducated. Worst experience with Dr. Nancy Maalouf & her assistance. Never going back to this hospital

Worst service ever. Worst insurance system, Staff rude and unprofessional. Waited for almost 30 minutes until staff finished his whatsapp chat for him to fill our admissions forms. And while asking for operation expenses he told us to come tomorrow. we had to call his management so we get answers. I cancelled my surgery operation with them and booked in another hospital.

Saint Georges hospital or (Maronite Hospital as they call it) located between Achrafieh and Jaitawi area in the middle of Beirut city. They offer a unique stay fir the patients and the staff are professional and the doctors as well.

Still under construction after the explosion of Beirut Port in August 4th 2020 ... So we cannot be severe while giving our opinion...

Their staff at the cashier, the lady with the black hair and black eyes especially and the ladies at the radiology department are supper rude. If I keep explaining how rude the staff I won’t finish. I like the hospital as it’s next to my house, but staff is horrible and no ethics. Too bad to know that they spent this much to renovate the hospital but didn’t do anything about staff services. Shame!

I am a huge skeptic of hospitals in Lebanon. The country is naturally unfriendly when it comes to healthcare in spite of great talent and skill. My previous experiences in other hospitals have been less than stellar. However my repetitive visits here and a recent family member hospitalization have totally won me over for stellar service and follow up care at various levels of their medical staff. My review is based on these personal experiences to date.

I have been getting treatment at this hospital for more than two months now and still have round three months to finish. It's an excellent hospital, great doctors, professionals and organized. I'm always full of confidence towards them. Even the building and the decoration made me feel comfortable.

This hospital knows the true meaning of urgent medical treatment. The doctors are really helpful, the nurses are the nicest and the OR team makes you feel at ease before your procedure. Thank you to Dr. George J. Assaf and team for helping me within a matter of hours and following up on a daily basis. A human hospital to say the least.

Been waiting for my mother’s appointment for an hour and a half. We were almost at the door, and still they made someone sneak in before us. No value nor respect for people’s time and wellness.

First time shame on them, second time shame on me. Very bad experiencewith one who's considered first class surgeon.... Unfortunately apart from the non studied enough case and irresponsible surgery, more than 8 visits to the Dr complain about the pain after his surgery and paying for each and every visit of 2 or 3 minutes 50$ he transfer me to another Dr that he know nothing about my case to read me new story.... Simply I do never ever recommend this hospital to no one. More details will follow...

I was impressed by the level of professionalism, we usually don’t get that in other hospitals in Lebanon. The whole thing is well organized and the team is hospitable and kind.

I went there for a blood test .. The doctors and staff went out of their way to be attentive, professional and efficient.. I salute them and totally appreciated their efforts .. the infrastructure and space rather tight and certainly unfit for the age of Covid and the Covid like pandemics.. their labs are situated in two separate buildings .. very inconvenient to go back and forth ..

Went in for COVID-antibodies and bloodwork for iron (ie nothing crazy). Antibodies came out in 2 days the rest of the results - 10 days in and still nothing after several follow-up calls and constant chasing between calls not being answered, promises to send it “by end of day” etc. I wouldn’t go in there for a blood test ever again.

I have been 2 business days trying to contact the center with no response, not to mention sometimes the line is busy and with its available no answer, this is very frustrating and unacceptable. Management have to consider monitoring yr phone operators if they are consuming a business line for personal use. Unfortunately very bad service .

Great doctors!

Terrible patient care, horrible staff. A bunch of incapable residents are left to care for patients on weekends and holidays. A family member of mine has been left for 2.5 hours in the ICU, having a myocardial infarction with no one batting an eye, not even giving her pain killers. Everytime they were asked to do something, their answer was: she’s ok she is just a little nervous… until she passed away. Not to mention missing patients medications due to miscommunication between nurses. Having a piano in the hall, and serving shrimps for lunch are definitely NOT what makes a hospital reliable.

If I can put below 1 star, I would gladly do! Worst unprofessional, unethical staff ever. My 92 years old grandmother, with a broken hip waited 8 hours to be sent to the room!! Noting that her admission and papers were done. Not to mention that the staff in the emergency department are very rude, and the joke is that we had to see all the interns finish and start a new shift!! Oh and the best part, you need to beg them for the basic human help. This is the worst thing that can happen to a human being! Shame on you!

I had an operation. Was assigned to floor number 7 prior to operation. Mrs. Boustany, the lady in charge of the floor addressed us in an inappropriate, unprofessional, unacceptable, and discourteous manner. One should be offered more care in a so-called caring environment. Respect of the patient and their family is the least to be expected from such a highly reputable medical institution.
