The residents smoke inside the residents private room however the smell of cigarette smoke fills the corridor. Compared to AUBMC, I don’t like this hospital and I don’t recommend it.

I found this hospital to be commercial, lacking the touch of humanity. It might be home to high skilled doctors and professional nurses but they seek money more than solutions. Also the problem lies with the admin staff who are cold, systematic offering no flexibility or understanding neglecting the fact that they are dealing with patients. Good hospital. The security staff was friendly. I was told that the doctors are friendly and professional too! Pretty spacious area and rooms are pretty wide. Enjoyed the vending machines and coffee machines( spilled the nescafe two times XD )

Coming from Canada and speaking from my own experience, I couldn’t find a better ER accommodation and service for my baby daughter than Hotel Dieu de France. The ER Doctors were amazing, kind, and to the point within half an hour. I’m so grateful!

By all Means i would never set foot ever again in this place or any member of my family and i will make it a point to tell everyone i know about how this place robs people of their money. last time i was there i had to admit a family member of mine and the hospital asked for a non rational down payment to admit the patient despite the fact that we are insured (Grade A) and have NSSF. when the time came to reconcile the books the hospital returned about 2 % of the amount paid and referred us to finance ( a dodgy person called charbel) who started blabbing about irrational reasons why our bill would amount to approx $15000 and that NSSF and the insurance company covered 90% of the bill and the down payment thus evaporated!!! after investigating and comparing the bill to other hospitals we found out that it was inflated beyond proportions just to rob us out of our down payment. Seriously if i was in their shoe i would remove the word "Dieu" from their establishment name since it doesn't go well with what they do.

This is not a proper health institution!!!!! Is this supposed to be a hospital? Specially Dr. Mourany who lacks ethics and humanity! I support the reviews who said that this hospital is commercial and does not take care of the patient nor their families. We had a baby who needed dialysis and they didn't have places in the pediatric section so they didn't help us even though the baby as their doctors said "was dying" they didn't offer solutions and they didn't help the transfer to another hospital. I do not recommend this so called "hospital" at all!

Paperwork system is archaic. For any procedure you have, you have to book the appointment at one office, then submit paperwork for insurance/payment at another office, and after a booking is confirmed, you still have to go with all your documents on the day, submit again and wait to be admitted. Why bother with pre-submissions and copying paperwork if you still make your patients do it again on the day!!! Not to mention, that for each step you have to travel up and down, and no one can direct you properly, it’s like walking in a maze. The is the poorest and most unfriendly system I have seen. And the cherry on top, no one answers the phones, and no one replies to emails.

Worst hospital ever, we have serious treatment that they only open it Monday, Wednesday, Friday. The holiday came last week Friday Monday so they closed. So we suppose to make the treatment 3 times a week we made it once. Next week the holiday came Friday Monday too And Wednesday was Labor Day too which is hospital they can’t close or they should replace the days of treatment with Tuesday Thursday at least, they closed too. After all this they called me on Thursday and told me that the doctors is not coming on Friday. So they where opened 1 day during 15 days. And we suppose in 15 days do the treatment 6 times. We did it once. So Friday when I called another hospital, I realized that they replaced the days and they where working normal. My dad is being treated at this hospital its been for about weeks2 heart and kidneys problem. The nurses and doctors are amazing and very helpful. However, 90% of the "aide soignantes" and nurses arent taking any precautions towards patients (not wearing masks, getting in close contact, not using the hand gel machine as they enter the room and so on). In addition to that, a room next to my father's have more than 4 guests in it (although hospital management clearly states that only one guest can enter the patient room). Bottom line, no precautions are taken towards the patients and im iim very worried for my dad who has an extremely weak immunity.
