    THE WORST port in the entire world. Almost 2700 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored without proper measures for 6-7 years in a warehouse in the port, causing one of the biggest explosion in the world that killed more than 220 people, injuring around 7000, leaving 300 000 people displaced with billions of dollars of damages. Everyone responsible knew about it prior to the explosion, NONE took action. It's been 2 years now, with no clue on who did this...

    Main country seaport contributing the hub of the country’s imports and exports. Needs a managerial makeover to avoid further corruption entrenchment

    Such a painful memory for those who lost a friend,son,dad,lover,neighbor,sister,mother... etc.. in this painful memory i say lebanese will rise again ! God help Lebanon 🇱🇧 and protect Lebanese people 🙏 amen

    This place was such a blast! Great fireworks show but the finale was a bit much. Overall a bad experience though with all the noise and cluttered streets. Not recommended.

    One of the largest ports across the region, Beirut's Port became a painful memory for Lebanese after it exploded on 4th august 2020. It has resumed activities since.
