We
went
to
Beyt
Cafe
in
Gemmayze
for
brunch
on
a
Saturday
morning
at
11
am
and
found
two
open
tables
outside.
The
place
looks
like
an
old
Lebanese
house
with
a
small
garden-like
terrace.
It's
a
nice
break
from
city
noise,
especially
if
you
like
sipping
coffee
surrounded
by
greenery.
We
ordered
espresso,
americano,
cappuccino,
and
lemonade.
The
first
three
were
tasty,
but
the
lemonade
was
pretty
basic.
For
food,
we
got
a
ham
and
cheese
omelette
(a
bit
too
salty),
a
good
mushroom
omelette,
and
a
vegetable
omelette
that
needed
more
salt
and
flavor.
We
also
ordered
a
labneh
dish
with
veggies
on
the
side.
The
prices
were
okay,
and
we
paid
around
$43
for
everything.
The
service
was
a
bit
slow.
We
had
to
go
inside
each
time
we
needed
the
waiter,
but
at
least
the
food
came
on
time.
We
gave
the
ambiance
a
4/5
because
it's
a
charming
place.
For
food,
we
rated
it
3/5
–
good
but
could
be
tastier.
Service
got
a
3/5
too.
Oh,
and
it's
a
pet-friendly
place!
