Hostel is very cozy , you feel at home , I booked for my first two nights in my 8 nights trip to lebanon , it ends that I’ve stayed 7 out of my 7 nights stay in Beirut at The Colony Hostel, Staff are the greatest in the hostel very helpful and always there for help or advise with love specially Sarya & Yazan Thanks dears for making Mr first trip to Lebanon this special , of course a lot of Lebanon trips will follow to this fantastic country & people ❤️❤️ Supermarket , Great Express coffee shop & great Mankousha Resturant are 2 minutes walk from hostel

Nice Hostel, good location - few minutes away from Mar Mikhael, but a bit hard to find.

Unique hostel in a not so central location in Beirut - if you're looking to just chill and Uber places, this is fine, but it's not in the best location. That being said, staff were friendly, dorm room has a cool set up where everyone has their own secluded bunk, and it has everything you need.

Great place. Accommodation is simple but well maintained. Definitely recommend as it is also close to the centre and the public transport vans pass by on the highway. They only cost 1000 LL to get anywhere. The guys that run this place are pretty cool too.

Ideal for backpackers. If you like meeting people and making friends, this is the place. Superb location. Within walking distance of pubs and restaurants. Also BO18 is quite close

It is one of the best hostels that I have stayed in so far. Excellent location, fabulous staff, well-equipped kitchen, lots of common areas to socialize and wifi is good everywhere in the hostel. I love the fact that it was converted from a public school.

Good place in Beirut. Cool people with open mind.

The staff of the hostel and guest are amazing. The set up of the hostel mad it easy to meet new people. Although the hostel is not centrally located, everything we wanted was still easily accessible. For example, Armeniastreet was about a 10 minute walk, the legendary club of B018 a 5 minute walk and all the other things were easily accessible with an Uber or Bolt. In the day it is too hot to walk long distances anyway. We have stayed there for three nights and then come back for our final night in Lebanon.

The room was extremely hot like a sauna and there is no electricity at night, the fan is just for show. I understand the current situation in beirut but the price is too much for what it offers.

If you want to pay close to 40 euro to sleep in an oven, stay awake until 3 listening to techno and wake up early morning because of construction this is your place!

Staff is very friendly, cozy place and very clean, I really enjoyed my stay there.

Average and slightly expensive hostel in an industrial area with waste around and lots of noise. Not too close to the city. The beds are not clean, neither are the showers. Host was friendly, but I would not go there again.

Best hostel for backpacker!! Always supernice people around, great view from the terrace, great authentic breakfast! Sometimes "special" nights with food and parties. Always something going on.. And don't worry about the location that doesn't seem very inviting at first. I felt safe at any time of day or night.
