Is it really a river?

Beirut river view from Qalaa Valley today Monday 23 April 2018. The river flow is weak and will dry before the end of the month

Used to be a beautiful river, but unfortunately forty years ago they transformed it into an open huge sewage pipe, where a dam was built and the municipalities along the river path versed their used water without treatment into the river. What made it worse was the cementing of the river bed and it's sides, thus in winter the river often gets out of it's bed.

I don't usually rate rivers, why would anyone rate a river it's not a beauty pageant! However this one river is active 24/7 365 both winter and summer the only difference is in winter it's from the pouring rain + pee&poop but in the summer it's pee+poop only! But ultimately it's our fault. WE are the ones who neglected it still it made the mistake of being born in Lebanon!

Too far place .. Not save for kids. . Only good for rafting Food is not special. For me it is boring .

Always durty and sometimes full of rubish. The only GREAT thing about it is the HUGE solar system that the government built above it. It looks so cool.
