This place is delicious! My mom is from Augsburg, Germany, but has lived in America for 50 years. She has never found a German restaurant that has truly been great... until now! I'm so happy to have found this place! The food is so tasty, and the beer selection is good. The server was super helpful in both food and beer selections. We drove from PA to come here and will definitely be doing it many more times to come here.

I ate here with my wife and we had a great time. The beer selection was fantastic as well as the food. The atmosphere was great with perfect service. We will be back very soon.

lovely spot! the best pretzels and crushes around! 🫶🏻 I absolutely love the beer cheese and the strawberry honey butter with the pretzel! everything on the menu is amazing though. definitely my favorite spot for a beer, a crush, a pretzel or anything German 🥰

My daughter and I had dinner last Tuesday for taco Tuesday! Fried avocado in mahi tacos were delicious and my daughter got the beer-ia tacos, and said they were the best she’s ever had! Riley was our server/bartender, and made me a couple fantastic margaritas! She was on the ball, and an absolutely sweetheart! She has such an a adorable personality!

Amazing place to get a beer and food. Great selection of beer on tap, massive selection in bottles. The food is just incredible, I personally love how many dipping sauces and pretzels they have to choose from. The staff is SO friendly and hardworking. Oh and Shelby is the best!

Fun place and GREAT service. Drinks were good. Prickly pear drink tasted better after we added sprite to it. Chicken piazza was ok. Reuben was good. Meatloaf was too salty. Creamed spinach was good as was the sauerkraut. Beef goulash soup was very good. Needed salt tho. Crab pretzel was the best item of the night.

First time here at the Das Bierhalle in Bel air. Food was great and they have an amazing selection of German beers on tap and bottled! There are plenty of other food and drink options that makes this place a great family spot!

We emailed them that we were going to have a party of 16. There was a slight miscommunication about the location. But they made the room to accommodate us. Our server was Carrie and she was wonderful. She handled the entire party herself. Everything came out exactly as we ordered it. The food was very good and the $6 crushes were good as well. Several in our party are German and ordered the schnitzel and said it was pretty close to being as good as in Germany. Overall a great time

Das Bierhalle has quickly become my favorite place to take my family and friends when they visit. Nestled in beautiful downtown Bel Air in a truly gorgeous building, Das provides it all. The servers and bartenders are all fast, welcoming, and great to talk to. The beer selection is out of this world for craft beer drinkers, but the $6 32 ounce crushes in dozens of flavors reign supreme. The German cuisine is on point, and I like the German twist to American dishes they do. Just an absolutely awesome place to eat but even better place to hang out.

Finally got the chance to dine here. We had a 45 minute wait (partly caused by a beer crawl). Once seated it was about 25 minutes till our food was served. Our server Danielle was very nice and attentive. Definitely recommend her. Chose jagerschnitzel with spatzel and asparagus. The meat was tender and lightly breaded. The meal over all was great. My only complaint was the asparagus was not trimmed before cooked.

My family and I went to Das Bierhalle for the first time and we all LOVED it! My girls were so excited to be able to order a kids meal that had a jumbo pretzel and they ate every single bite of it! My husband and I got sausage platters and really enjoyed it with beer mustard yum! I also had an egg custard crush and oh my god it was absolutely delicious! We were seated right away and service was extremely quick and friendly.

Food was terrific. Got the breakfast nachos and they were amazing. Would have preferred a chair with a back though 😂 they did provide one for my daughter so I'm sure I could have asked. They tag-team the waiters so I had no problem getting what I asked for.

What a great night at Das! Busy due to the holiday, but a packed restaurant didn’t stop the kitchen or staff from delivering a great experience! Kari and Adrian were so fun and on their game, and our food was delightful! Can’t beat the size of these pretzels!

The food was to die for! We had Carney crab balls which tasted like mini crab cakes, super yummy!!!! This was the Bauer pretzel.scramble = a soft pretzel with scrambled eggs, onion, asparagus (it's sliced thin so ya can't really tell) and tomatoes (which I'm not much for warm tomatoes so I skipped out lol) also beer cheese. The best breakfast ever! Hubby and I will DEFINITELY be back! He had the Schnitzel & waffles (chicken and waffle) and raved about it!!!! We came in the the beat upbeat waitress and she had such a great energy for our first visit especially.....unfortunately someone else took her table and was not so pleasant hence is why I gave that a 3 star review. We will definitely visit again!!!!

I highly recommend this amazing restaurant! The service was excellent & the staff is so happy and nice. My food was absolutely delicious & they have the best beer selection around & they have 32oz crushes! Everything was top notch! I highly recommend the Sauerkraut Balls and Brat & Kraut Grilled Cheese! Das is a great new addition to the Belair community!

Friendly staff, but service was slow and not helpful. Since we'd never eaten here, my husband and I ordered the platter, which was a sampling of brats and sides. Sides were absolutely amazing! Wait staff was unable to tell us which brats were which on the platter (they all looked different). This is problematic because how would we know what we would (or would not) order in the future? One was extremely greasy, and another had a horrible texture. The other 3 were very good but I have no idea what they were (overpriced hot dogs?) Atmosphere was SO loud I could barely hear my husband when we tried to talk. Music and TVs don't need to be that loud.

Food was amazing and always is! Ive also been to brunch which was delicious too! Both times had great service! Crushes are delicious and there are so many flavors to choose from! The wait can get a little long especially on the weekends but that’s to be expected. Can’t wait to plan another trip back!

For those that give up so soon, don’t! Remember they are only a couple weeks in and getting used to the clientele. Once they do it will be your place to go week in and week out! Absolutely love this place. 1st time opening weekend. Came to watch the Bayern Munich/ Borussia Dortmund game with son. Staff immediately turned it on per request. Found spot at bar and enjoyed a great lunch and game. Came back later that evening and there was a long wait. However that was eased with the ability to get drinks and mingle. Check was transferred to the table. Even being so busy the kitchen staff was able to get my food out hot and with no issues. Worst part of the evening was the power went out in Bel Air. That being said they kept their cool and everything ran great. Can’t wait to get back up there again. Great food, great staff, great beers and crushes.

The beer list is outta this world, the crush options are endless too. Will definitely be back for some more drinks and food!

Pretzel was amazing. The “sauces” were not saucy at all. Sides were delicious, but our mains were mediocre. The veal was not tenderized. It was chewy and the “sauce” was a watery drizzle of wine, lemon juice and capers. The French dip sandwich was not cut for dipping and the au jus had no flavor. The cabbage rolls were the best main dish, but lacked enough sauce. Our server kept disappearing and never got refills on drinks. We had to flag down other servers for anything we needed. The atmosphere is ruined by lack of sound dampening. Also, the payment defaults to 25% tip. I would tip extra if our service was exceptional, but no way. It was like a cruel joke.

Great food and drinks with a fun vibe. Wonderful service, definitely a spot to frequent for drinks downtown
