Good music, easy lounging and good beers. Two pints for £10.80 isn't bad at all

Good pool tables but the cocktails aren’t up to much. The French Martini is very child friendly as it appears to be nothing more than a sugary soft drink. The bar staff didn’t take the comment seriously, nor the manager. Stick to the black stuff.

Having to plead your innocence in order to make way into a bar should not the way. They should be welcoming and happy to greet. Unfortunately the bouncers make it so. Understand they serve a purpose but the ignorance I was met with was shocking. They let their ego get in the way to prove a point. Head bouncer unwilling to listen to anything said. Their word was final. There other staff/ bouncers were more friendly and unstandable of the situation and of my friends being let on ahead. Other than than that I'd have been long gone. Left with a sour taste from even getting in the door i was very reluctant to even spend a pound once eventually let in. Not be in any panic to get back.

11 pounds for the nachos. Literally 5 chips comes with cheese and guacamole. The rest it's just plain chips. Very disappointed. **I asked for some guacamole they were happy to put some more and cheese. Very friendly service.

We booked to pour our own pint as the bar was opening. Brilliant experience. Bartender was very polite and kind, helped us a lot. Other bartender ? Manager maybe ? Took our orders for food and was also very kind. Food was excellent. I was looking forward to a belfast pub experience and wasn't disappointed.

I knew Laverys well when I was a student in Belfast in the 90’s. I popped in on a recent trip back to Ireland and boy has it changed. Excellent selection beers, fantastic separate bars including an awesome outside area. I will be back some day.

Great experience!! Food and attendance excellent! I loved!! 😁 I highly recommended! There is a rooftop and a other place is outside, as a balcony. Perfect. I'll come back, certainly! Congrats team!

The food was great overall, my only qualm is that I was not crazy about the chicken gourdins/tenders because I wasn't a fan of the oil it was in. Everything else was great, the wings were very tender and fell off the bone. The portion size here is enormous far beyond American portion size. The fish and chips was enough to feed three people. Also the desert was warm and delicious!

Entertaining, huge, like the tardis you think you've been then you find a new part. Pretty sure it goes on forever. Also pints

Joined their Rugby Special with Food, Beer and Pool package; great value and the food was also surprisingly tasty (it won't be winning any culinary awards, but was spot on).

I know this is THE bar that set a new level for me. I don't know who the DJ was but Quim Barreiros in Belfast was such a surprise!!! And everyone's so Nice!

Quiet pub early afternoon. Good burgers. Friendly staff. A little slow service but a place not to be missed.

Laverys has expanded, improved and kept up with the crowds. It has lots of different areas and nights to cater to all sorts. The woodworkers is a trendy pub with boardgames and craft beers but there are pool tables, club nights and good spaces for big groups too.

Went for comedy night, played pool and had a burger while we waited for the show, food was delicious! I got the Scooby Snacks burger. You will not be disappointed! I told the server we were going to see the show and didn't have a lot of time and he got our order out very promptly, will definitely be back

Three of us came here for a wee drink before moving on to the next pub. Great atmosphere, it was quite busy, but no great big queues for the bar, we were served really quickly by very pleasant staff. There was football on telly for whoever wanted to watch it, and background music on aswel, all in all, great pub with great atmosphere.

Visited on a Tuesday night, so not the best night to judge on. Quite a large pub, so atmosphere was hard to gauge. Decor good, toilets clean, service attentive, all you could ask on a Tuesday really. Will try it again next time I'm up.

The croquettes, katsu chicken, calamari, and especially the lentil shepherds pie were all delicious! Good selection of drinks and altogether nice atmosphere. Gluten free selection is slightly limited and service was a little slow but we'll forgive them that, would definitely recommend.

I love Laverys. Its one of my favourite bars in the area. There's the sports area with tv's, a quieter bar at the back, an upstairs part and Woodworkers at the side which serves very good cocktails. All ages and people gravitate to the area they feel most comfortable. Also, great pub grub!!

Had a good time, staff were friendly and courteous, sadly service was a little slow, food was good, would recommend to family friends.

Super cool place that offers drinks, food, and entertainment. A favourite place now for me and my boyfriend when we dander to Belfast for a relaxing day. Inexpensive to play pool, but they make up for it with some of the prices of drinks and food, but that's Belfast!

Brought my daughter, nephew and niece here for food and beer. Wow it has changed! Brilliant traditional sports bar, food was spot on and that beer garden is just enormous! They have locally brewed craft ales too! The staff were brilliant!

The best pub food and service I can ever remember. I went with my husband and 3 sons and we were all amazed by the food. We all had a different meal and they all were excellent. After our meal my sons played a few games of pool which was in another room upstairs. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for great food.

My husband wanted to take me to one of the places he went to when he was a young man, growing up in Belfast. I am glad he did. We walked in and immediately felt welcome. The bar and waiting staff were helpful. Laverys was clean, comfortable and was exactly how I like my pubs, old and full of history! Our food arrived promptly and was hot, generous and delicious. I most definitely will be visiting again!

This place has decent vibe on weekdays and when having crucial sporting event so you get to enjoy a lot. The food options for vegetarian is limited but they are always amazing. Specially the nachos and halloumi burger.

Generally a good bar all around, nice atmosphere and was showing the football on large, clear screens. Would go back. Staff could be a little more welcoming and polite but a minor criticism.

Excellent city centre bar. It is actually a number of bars within the same business. Not a wine bar but a real bar with Northern Irish charm. Caters for everyone whether young or older, just in for drink or something to eat or out for the night. Particularly good for sport as it can show multiple sports and multiple football matches across the complex. Very close to city centre in the busy Bradbury Place area of town. Several other bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Excellent staff and a must for people coming to visit the city.
