Sterling Van Lines did a superior job moving 6 pieces of furniture and 30 boxes from my home in Miami to my daughter's new home in Rochester, NY. I can't thank Mark, the Sterling Van Lines driver enough. He was the most friendly, competent and efficient mover I've ever used. He was very organized and thorough. I had his cell number and he answered all my calls. The way he carefully wrapped and labeled each piece of furniture was incredibly impressive! He had that giant moving truck impeccably organized. I so appreciate reliable, hard workers during this difficult time, especially with a labor shortage. Every single item was accounted for in NY, and he took extra time to make sure everything was delivered in its original condition. Not a scratch or dent and nothing was missing. I highly recommend Sterling Van Lines for small moves (2000 lbs or less.) And if you're lucky, you'll get Mark as your driver. I'd use them again for sure! Thanks Mark!

We had a 5 STAR experience with this company. They picked up and moved our Grand Piano. The only regret we have....we should have had this company move our entire contents of home, shop and barn. Had we done this....we wouldn't have experienced the nightmare move of hiring a moving company that was not reputable and a complete SHAM. If you're reading this review....this Sterling Van Lines company is excellent in their communication, in their execution and the safe job they did in moving our Grand Piano.

I had Sterling move a piano from my family’s house in Iowa to me in California after my mother passed away. Obviously in addition to it being a delicate job just being a piano, the sentimental value was irreplaceable. They handled it beautifully. Then I hired them again for more furniture and boxes once those were sorted. There were issues with the snow, but they were patient and had no trouble waiting a while for a safe time to pack up. Will call them again if I need moving help.

Everyone I dealt with at Sterling Van Lines was courteous and professional, from the person who provided the estimate to the dispatcher to the movers. Their movers showed up on time and worked quickly to move my garage's worth of stuff--including an elliptical machine--into a storage unit. I will definitely use Sterling Van Lines again when I need to move my stuff back out of storage.

We needed to move four pieces of antique furniture across the West Coast to a somewhat remote location. Sterling meticulously packed and expertly crated each piece to prepare them for shipping through a partner. I was able to be present for the unpacking, and all four of us had never seen anything so well packed before. That is saying a lot, some of us own a business that receives large shipments almost daily. I want to thank Sterling for taking such amazing care of our family treasures.
