Medical assistants are very unprofessional, did not feel welcomed or comfortable while I signed in, especially since they are the first persons you see first and last before you leave the clinic. none of them smile, they cut you off before you even try to explain or ask them anything. Out of all MA’s there’s probably two nice ones. The Dr is late and rude. & finally , I went in for some blood work and one of the medical assistants asked for what and she made a funny face once I told her what kind of blood work I wanted...SO UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. & IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR TOWED because their parking sucks go for it. They tow everyone’s fuken car!

My issues...the people at the desk and nurses don't listen and are always passing the buck with issues, nurse practitioner are dismissive, condescending and seem to can't wait for a patient to be gone without checking on refill issues or patient concerns. Plus, for covid the office is empty but they act like they have a full waiting room.Yet, they can't take time to inquire on the patient's reason for visit or concerns. I wrote a complaint but JWCH didn't address me within 24 hours like it says on their website and forget using their phone system. Also, your patient portal says I needed a key to use your system...where is my key? I was never offered one. They don't care about the patient. They only care about themselves. Be warned.

Yesterday on 09/07/2021 I had an appointment at 1:30p.m. at JWCH. The first mistake was made on Friday when I spoke with Call center in regarding my confirmation of my appointment I was told my appointment was made for Bell Gardens location. I arrived at 1:27p.m. in Bell Gardens and to begin with the staff doesn't have no customer service. They made me wait 10-15mins outside to get screen for Covid-19 symptoms they don't even acknowledge me at all. It seem like I was checked in late when I wasn't the front desk Medical Assistant confirmed my birthday and made me sit down to wait to be called so I waited, I know it gets busy I'm a Medical Assistant as well and work in a clinic and I know how it works and how sometimes patients can be very inpatient. So that's why I waited an hour after that I was noticing I wasn't being called not even by the MA to be vital so therefore I went to the Front desk to ask an update regarding my appointment. One of the Front desk MA informs me my appointment was made for Lynwood location instead of Bell Gardens. I informed the MA why was I waiting for an hour for nothing when they should've informed me from the beginning. It shouldn't take one hour to figure out if my appointment is at a different location. I know the person that checked me in knew from the beginning because I have 10 years working in this field and I know whenever theirs an appt made it states the location as well. This is unacceptable at all of course I'm upset, I'm pregnant anxious to know the lab results of my baby and mines. I missed work due to this and wasn't able to receive a doctor's note because I was not seen after all. I wasted my time to go back and forth with these two clinics not only did I wasted my time but my gas. I would very appreciate it if they're was a disciplinary action because no one should go through this again. I would very highly appreciate if I can please get a response I will continue to follow with this complaint.

I requested a copy of my blood work. This is something that should be allowed to be picked up when results come in 24 hours later. The clinic nurse saying they sent my results elsewhere. Then they said I didn't have it done there. Once I became a little vocal they gave me my results. The results didn't match anything they they told me over the phone, nor did the medications match my blood work. I would have been very sick if I would have listened to them ... It took me over 4 months to obtain my results. No stars. I'm thankful to God I have my own insurance now and don't have to rely on Wesley Care

I'm changing my mind about this clinic.I had given it 5 stars but now I take it away because yesterday 02/01/2023 I went to the clinic and they were very credible and they did not want to see my son for his vaccinations, they told me that they could only see my son by appointment.

They never call to let me know that the doctor won't be there and the day is lost. They go several times, which happened to me last time. The manager told me that we don't answer or that our mailbox is full, but I confirmed that they didn't call me, much less leave a message. They are very poorly organized… I'd better change clinics

It was my first time going to this clinic and everything went great. I was a little bit worried because of the bad reviews but my insurance assigned me here and my check-in appointment went quickly and smoothly. The Wesley Health Centers in general does have something that could be improved on in their appointment system- that I will agree with. It takes long setting up an appointment by phone. However, at this specific center the nurses I talked with were kind and answered all the questions I had. I had no problems.

The nurses were very kind and even offered to fit me in for an appointment on short notice because I needed a test for work. So far my experience has been an extremely positive one. Yes, there are longer wait times perhaps, but nothing unexpected. I have gotten through to the appointment center in less than 10 minutes every time I've called.

Yes. The waiting is a drag. But what do you expect when there are three doctor and God Knows how many patients per day. Dr. Alexander is a great doctor really make you feel comfortable. Make sure all your errands are done before you go there because the wait is long.

It is a clinic that is always canceling appointments. Today I had an appointment with my son, I dried him up from school, I arrived a little late and they didn't want to attend to me. Other times we waited until 1 or 2 and one doesn't complain, but today I do give it half courage, I give it 0000**
