Lately, I have been looking for alternatives to PriceSmart since it seems to not been able to handle large amounts of clients buying all together. Despite their 15ish cashiers, the cue is very long even for a supermarket such as PriceSmart and then, once you have spend more time in cue than shopping, you’d need to wait more in the exit cue for a doorman to check if you didn’t steal nothing. Also, they increased prices and there is no reason anymore to buy wholesale.

Usual bulk shopping experience. The store is relatively well laid out, roomy, and always clean and tidy. Staff are helpful. Prices higher than they were, but reflective of higher prices everywhere. Can get very busy at the checkouts so plan your visits carefully.

I only give it 1 Star because I haven't renewed my membership in o er 10 years. I just can't get my head round paying to buy, paying to shop. It might make sense if you have a business that needs to find products in bulk sizes and measures but for the average person it doesn't make any sense. I do notice a bit of laughable one up ness quazie elite middle class society that just like being members of clubs and societies put them one rung above the plebe. Price Mart is full of them types.

Couldn’t find some items that were supposed to be in stock. Otherwise, all good with my visits to this PriceSmart location.

Lots pf parking, fully stocked store that offers a wide range of product types, heavily weighted to the Store brand. Run very much like a Costco in the US.

If you live in Panama City, you should definitely get a membership as you find many great products at a cheaper price than other places around Panama City. Food, electronics, some furniture and more. Plenty of parking makes it easy to come even for short visits. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this store! I received my membership today and I'm very excited! I moved to Panama from Mexico 3 months ago and I was used to seeing a Sam's club. The prices at PriceSmart are much cheaper than Reba Smith and El Rey!! The $35 annual membership is worth it!!!

In Panama is the alternative to Costco we use to buy there meat, chicken and fruits they have good quality/price.

Good for purchasing in bundles, nice deals on certain items, however not everything is cheaper than in other places. Definitely worth the visit, however you would need to be part of the club (buy a membership) to access the facilities

You need a membership to shop, they have a lot of items for almost everything is a big super market with multiple options, food, cleaning, fruits, electronic and even for your vision.

Just like Costco in the US. What disappointed me was the hot dog I ordered. It was lukewarm as were the French fries. How hard is it to boil a hot dog along with half the condiments empty. No straws either. Try to get it together fellas.

Good prices but bad service

The prices are regular, but the concept of membership shopping is not what I like most. Few "green labeling", no forms of recycling proposed.

Always crowded people in there! So, find your best time (ex. weekend in the morning) to visit to avoid any inconvenience including long time in raw to pay in cashier. You can find various good things in there. It's better for massive purchases for big family like toilet paper, water, eggs, fresh fruits with reasonable price. And, I recommend to try the chicken bucket from their fast food service!

This is basically Panama's "Walmart". There are all sorts of grocery items, clothing, electronics and much more. Some stores are bigger than other braches so the types of items and quantity may vary. This should be everyone's one-stop shopping place for most household needs!!! I'm not sure photography is allowed so I didn't take any pics.

I save a lot when shopping here. The cost saving is great. I've managed to find a lot of imported products here.

These places have jacked up the prices by 3.00 /4.00 $ in the majority of items. Know your prices. *** Yellow tags: the product is on discount either because it is on sale that week or the item is discontinued

Great place to shop. Fair prices. Good selection of product. Fresh fruits and vegetables. Reminds me of Sam's Club in USA.

It feels they raise prices faster than any other supermarket in Panama.. Yet again they raised the price of one of my favorite products. From 6,75$ in July we reached 8,49$ in November. The US price of that product was stable during that period.. Long lines at the checkout. Requires an expensive membership. I don't understand why people shop here, the mere 10-20% discount you get in comparison to not buying in bulk aren't worth it in my opinion.

It's like Costco in the US and even has some Kirkland brands. They also sell huge bags (3 for $6), which makes it easy to get stuff in and out of Uber.
