The room was fine (bed was a little flat/stiff, the bathroom doesn't offer much privacy if you are staying with others). My issue is with the location, it's in an area where at night you will come across a bunch of hookers and homeless guys on drugs. My wife felt very unsafe outside of the hotel, mainly at night. Fortunately the hotel itself is fine. The view from my room was just looking into nearby apartments.

We recently visited this AC Marriott. While the the staff was nice the management was stiff, unaccommodating and rude. We have asked the to stay half an hour longer due to a medical conditionlon, a staff member agreed, the manager overrode him and was outright nasty and refused to accommodate even that extension stay and offered no alternative. This hotel should not be carried the Marriott name as it is far from it's standard. It is worth nothing that the hotel is located in a very dirty and unsafe area. Garbage is all over, broken sidewalks and totally unsafe. I would never stay there again and suggest you look for other alternative, which there are plenty around.

We were moved here from another Hotel because they had a problem with our room, and it was the best thing in our trip. The personnel is kind, awesome, and lovely, everything was clean, the drinks were spectacular and the food delicious. Special thanks to the crew on the counter for being so kind, and everyone who served us. You all rock.

When we first arrived seem to have a lot of promise but as the three nights went on I kept getting more disappointed as little things kept adding up. Only give one washcloth although two ppl in the room? Requested more towels which never came. No lotion in room. Room finally freshened up and no clean cups left for coffee. "Clean" washcloth had a bandaid (my last straw prompting this review...) and long black hair in it, I'm blonde. Pool had funky smell, pretty sure had not been chlorinated. Sure enough, next day pool and gym going under maintenance (with no notice when we checked in...found out via a note under the door) Redeemable was the bar and front desk friendly, able to get us into pool at another Marriott. Location $3-5 Uber Ride from downtown. Two doors down is hourly hotel, quite a smattering of ladies of the night mulling about if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. Nice selection of restaurants within walking distance. I stayed 50+ nights in Marriotts last year and this has by far been the most disappointing.

This doesn’t live up to the Marriott brand and execs should take a look at this property. Room 907 is in state of disarray. Bathroom door doesn’t close because the floor has messed up. Sink is leaking. Shower changes temperature while in use. Floor is scratched all over and furniture falling apart. We ordered the brownie and ice cream which was the worst dessert I’ve had. The highlight here is the pool but only the pool. Pool area had lack of towels. And area needed some general upkeep.

Great location, friendly staff, good brea! Rooms were not squeaky clean, but ok. The view was great! All tours offer pick-up from here! Bottomline: Great value, would stay again!

The staff is amazing! I’ll give them that. The food is horrible, the location is horrible and dirty and our mirrors were broken in both rooms we had on separate floors. Poor lighting in bathrooms. The price should definitely be lower. Towels felt like rags.

The location is just great. Convenient store right across the hotel and walking distance from great local cuisines + fast foods too. Didn’t spend much time here as I’m usually on the road but breakfast is so amazing and nutritious. Highly recommend BB. The staff are service oriented and very helpful too.

Easy to Uber from airport, front desk staff are friendly, hotel is designed well. Beds are comfortable and clean. Pool is closed right now but you can visit a nearby pool. Breakfast is basic but good.

Really nice and centrally located hotel that is very affordable. The rooms are nice and clean. The pool deck is nice and overlooks the city. Good fitness center. But overall the staff are extremely friendly! I put down through the Marriott app that this was our anniversary trip (but since it’s the last day of our week trip, I even forgot I did so) and they gave us complimentary breakfast without even asking for it (which included a yummy surprise of heart shaped pancakes). It truly felt that everyone in the hotel knew we were visiting for our anniversary, which made us feel so special. It was such a nice touch to a lovely stay.

I stayed at this hotel for our 10yr wedding anniversary! The entire stay we did not have hot water in our room and after waiting for my receipt I never got it! I am in another country so I finally am able to call for my receipt and I see I was charged an extra night stay my stay was for June 15-19 but I was charged June 15-20 I wasn't even in the country anymore on the 20th and have my flight information to prove they overcharged me $100 when they should have been giving me an extra $100 for the non use of hot water in the room and whirlpool.

I have stayed here twice and both times found it to be very nice and well sorted. The roof top bar and pool is a great place to spend a chill evening with excellent views. The restaurant downstairs had great food and very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Rooms and Hotel was nice. The security method of needing a key card to start the elevator made me feel more secure in my room. Main things I rate are bed, air conditioning and shower which all were great. I like when I can close off sun light by the curtains in the room. Worst thing about the hotel is it is very hard to navigate to when driving. Staff was very helpful...once you could get a hold of them.

Love AC Hotels! By far, this AC Marriott is my favorite. The staff were very warm and friendly. The hotel room was modern and clean, and the location has many surrounding restaurants and a nightclub nearby. There is plenty to do nearby. Would highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Great place to stay in the city, in front is the super market, and lots of restaurants. The pool is great, the beds are really good. Everything is really clean.

Great hotel overall. Solid choices if you are visiting on a budget.

Location and staff are good but the pool (which is why I booked here) is under construction and a major point of frustration. No mention of a cold jacuzzi and demo upon booking or check-in.

Very good hotel overall. The team there was super helpful and friendly. Location is good with plenty of options close by but you also rely on Uber/taxis as well. Rooms need a be of attention to detail but not horrible.

Stayed here for two nights and really love the AC brand within Marriott. This hotel was new but there were a few misses, the room was gorgeous however if the air conditioning was turned down or off the washroom smelt like sewage. The door to the room 901 also look like it was compromised from the humidity as the security top lock look like it was about to break off from the frame. The location was a bit overwhelming at night and that was my fault for not doing more research into what attractions were in the area. Cab drivers and even staff said it wasn’t a good area to go out for dinner at night because of the illicit activities nearby. The food at the hotel was wonderful and the staff were incredible!

Friendly staff. Very modern. Good location and decent price. The breakfast was divine and had so many delicious options including local ingredients and Spanish Iberian ham. Views weren't a thing here.

Bed bugs and poor housekeeping. I chose this hotel since I had a long layover in Panama City and I was arriving at night, (the area has a lot of nightlife and I needed open places to eat late), When I go to sleep late at night I realize that the bed has bedbugs and women's hair between the sheets and between the sheet and the mattress. The cleaning was not very good, and the bathroom had a water leak to the outside when you showered, The attention at the time of check in and check out was good.

The rooms are very spacious, and we booked the "suite" on the top floor which had 2 floors, 2 flats reen tvs, a massive double bed, 2 bathrooms with showers, a living space with 2 sofas and more. Breakfast was awesome, but a little bit limiting

We had an amazing Girls Week at the AC Marriott I can't recommend it enough nor can I wait to return!! We had exceptional service from the time we walked in until the time we left! Everything was exceptional and clean and tidy. I wish I could remember everyone's name but I will tell you is that Jesus and Tatiana made our stay especially wonderful with their personal and lovely attention!

Room was nice, comfy bed, food was okay (‘fresh OJ’ was tropicana). Pool looked nice but as everyone mentions its always under maintenance and i couldn’t use it. Not luxury but comfortable stay.

We love this hotel! Elegant atmosphere and modern furnishings. Service is excellent — professional, friendly, efficient. Javier at front desk was especially great to work with! We appreciate the option of self service laundry (1 washer and 1 dryer), each $1. Hotel restaurant is fabulous — breakfast is tasty, high quality. Great dining options very close walking distance from hotel — including Beruit middle eastern restaurant, and Costa Azul. Easy to get an Uber or Taxi in front of the hotel if you’re going elsewhere.

We can’t say enough about the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant bar, service was exceptional and always with a smile. Definitely stay in a Loft Suite. There’s lots of space in this 2 story, 2 bathroom loft. Don’t let the street it’s on fool you. We were a little concerned at first but quickly discovered we were literally a block from the high-end areas. Everything beyond that was a $5 to $10 Uber ride away (including the Canal and Casco Viejo).

The location and cleanliness. The staff is very helpful and kind. The only problem was no hot water.. we've stayed twice and here is no hot water.

Decent Place and has a decent restaurant. Room were well maintained and washrooms were clean. I would however like the service in the restaurant to improve but i will still give them 5 star.

This hotel is really clean and everything went well in my stay. I just didn't enjoyed the bathroom design because I had poor privacy but everything was good in there. You can eat in the restaurant located inside or go walking and get some food around the area.

We had a good stay. Staff was very friendly and rooms clean. Location is good and central. However: breakfast did not meet our expectations. When we arrived most of the things where empty (e.g. coffee, orange juice, bread,…) so more or less the base breakfast components.

Clean hotel with polite employees, majority speak some English, many are fluent. Fantastic view of the city from the pool, has a hot tub. Pretty good lunch/dinner menu as well. Front desk was able to arrange covid tests for $30/person. Highly recommend the suites which have two bathrooms.

Traveled to Panama December 21 with my husband ....checking in we were told the pool and workout room would be closed for 2 days ...thar they could shuttle us to another location for a pool ...not ok I looked forward to waking up and having easy access to a pool , or doing a workout....pool opened Friday and was shut down again on Sunday...the sign in the elevator was not updated no Dj at the pool or 2 for one drinks ...the small things mean alot to visitors....apparently not too this hotel..so disappointing 😑

It was ok but not really usual Marriott standards. The front desk were very helpful and courteous but there were no coffee pods in the room, no attempt to service the room and no staff at the pool bar. Small things but it adds up. We moved.

Excellent budget hotel in Panama. The rooms are clean and feature minimalist design. Breakfast has a decent selection and never really busy. The staff is excellent and provided great service.

My favorite hotel in Panama City. I've returned several times. My guests are always happy with the lounge and Lobby and my room. The service is what I've grown to expect in the United States at a five-star hotel they, are just wonderful.

A beautiful property, located around restaurants and Pubs. The front desk was always helpful and I had a Chicken sandwich and Chicken Soup at the restaurant and it was really tasty. I had a problem with my coffee maker and they immediately replaced it. Cab drivers are in front of the Hotel waiting to take you anywhere. The gym upstairs is good for mostly cardio with one bicycle and 4 walking machines. It's got free weights dumbbells and a multi purpose machine with portable benches you can move around. It's the only place I would stay while in PC. The cleaning ladies were personable and helpful. Thanks to everyone, hopefully, see everyone soon.

Stayed a night. Decent hotel with a good restaurant. Food was good. Don't get into the taxis parked outside. Get an uber.

Did not meet my expectations for a Marriott property. My tenth floor room had no hot water for showers, and horrible wifi that was impossible to use. I had to go to the roof to connect and check emails. The hotel felt safe and clean, but the amenities weren’t up to Marriott standards in my opinion.

I normally stay at Courtyard but stayed at AC at the suggestion of a Marriott employee. I was quite disappointed. 1. The breakfast for which I paid extra was very paltry. Noting but cheese, bread, poor quality meat, cereal, coffee that wasn't hot and a few other unfulfilling items. More desirable items could be purchased, of which we did but they were not great. 2. No hot water. The first night it was bearable for a shower. On the second night, I asked them to please turn the hot water on in my room. They said they would and to give it 5 minutes. I literally ran the shower and sink for 40 minutes and called a second time before the water became bearable for a shower. The 3rd and 4th night, the water temp was the same, barely bearable. I did not stay the planned 5th night. 3. No privacy in the bathroom. No door separating the foyer and the bathroom. 4. There are other disappointments I had but I won't waste more time. Courtyard was only $15 more and will be my choice in the future. I have never been disappointed there.
