First time having Sushi in Sri Lanka. Loved the experience. Went there on a Tuesday and the only group were ours. The ambience is nice (what you’d expect from a beach restaurant of that sort. You can reserve beforehand. Indoor tables (half open to the beach) and beach tables Both are available. They have a variety of cuisines to choose from and he taste is very close to the authentic dishes. Recommended!

Japanese resto and bar by the beach. They have live band too. Food is tasty and the service is good. Ramen chicken is really nice (LKR 1300). We ordered Maki too (LKR 1400), Bento box (1900). Beers can be ordered from the other shop and they can serve it to u and add to ur bill. Owner is very friendly, so as the staff. Oh.. don't forget to order strawberry iced tea. 😋

The perfect location for hangout with friends. We traveled there as a group of five last Saturday, March 11. I requested table in the beachfront and they quickly fulfilled that . Food tastes great, especially when paired with pork devil and seafood vermicelli noodles. good customer service though. The one plus point is that there isn't too much loud music here.

Seafood Okonomiyaki(1850), Vegetable Ramen(1000), Sushi Bento (2850) Tastes really good. Awesome quality in Sushi and Shashimi in the bento box. Had a lot of textures and variant japanese flavours. Okonomiyaki was reccommended by the restaurant as a top moving item and the dish says why. Addicting flavours with generously plentiful seafood in the dish. Ramen was good as a complementing dish to the other items but wasn't good enough in its own. Altogether a nice experience in the Mount Lavinia Beach with Sea Breeze flowing through the restaurant.

Not as good as the other Sushi Kai’s. I enjoyed the music and the view of the beach, but it didn’t feel too welcoming at this restaurant. The food arrived quite quickly and it was presented well, but not as well as the other Sushi Kai’s. When I went to pay they didn’t have any change, so I was requested to pay by card, which charged an extra 3% fee. The restaurant needs more maintenance and I think the staff need to be more friendly and welcoming. A lot of tourists come to this beach, but at 6:30pm the restaurant was almost empty.

The best cuisine on the beach. Good rolls, but not the best. But great local food. The waiters are polite, smiling, you want to come back here again and again.

Don't bother! Pretty disappointed with the whole experience. The food was not prepared correctly, rubbery and tasteless; we left half of it. Slow service. (Chef was on time, waiter half asleep). Great location right on the beach, but please turn some lights on in the evening, it's very dim. Had to turn the torch on to read the menu and bill. Decor very tired, like a rundown beach shack.
