We just brought back our Tuktuk after great 4 weeks. A few days before we arrived in Sri Lanka we contacted ALMA Tours and got all questions clarified. At time of arrival the quite new Tuktuk was ready to go and our driving license arranged as promised. We got a good introduction and short driving lesson and then we were ready to go. If you want to do the train ride from Ella to Kandy they also provide a transfer service for extra cost. We had no issues at all as the vehicle was in a very good condition. We were checked a few times by police and all documents we got from ALMA were fine, so nothing to worry about. We had a gorgeous time and can recommend this type of travel in general and ALMA tours in specific to 100%.

Brilliant experience renting from Alma Tours. I had zero issues with my tuktuk during my 25 days, and his rates were the best I found! I contacted him 2 days before arriving to Sri Lanka and he answered all my questions and got me the proper driving license. My tuktuk had a roof rack which I didn't see on other tuktuks and proved helpful. The most impressive aspect of Alma is the driving tutorial. They gave me a thorough 45 minute driving lesson. We practiced shifting, turns, parking, and reverse driving. They take driving seriously and they wouldn't let me drive off until I proved I could drive the tuktuk. Top notch responsibility and quality :-p

We rented a tuk tuk for 15 days and everything was fine. We had a small problem with the tuk tuk and they just replaced it on the same day. I'll recommend to travel around the island by tuk tuk. It's a great experience!

Renting Tuk Tuk very nice and helping people

We rented 3 times at Alma Tours: 2 times for a Tuk Tuk and 1 time for a scooter. People are kindly, very welcoming and honest. We had a problem with a Tuk Tuk the 2nd time, they didn’t hold us our deposit. They also kindly kept our 2 travel bags during our journey. Vehicles are new and in perfect condition. Prices are the best on the market. If you want to rent a vehicle in Sri Lanka we recommend you Alma Tours.

The experience of driving a tuk tuk in Sri Lanka is amazing and we had a really good deal with Alma Tours. The owner, Fermando, is easygoing, we arrange everything by WhatsApp before our arrive. The tuk tuks are old but they works perfect, any problem with them. The price is better than other places.

Overall recommendable. Very good communication for the license in advance. Price okay for 16 days (10€ a day + roof rack 2€ a day + 50€ insurance). 100€ deposit which was handed back with no trouble. The tuktuk could have been a bit better maintained compared to the ones we saw from tuktuk rental com in Colombo. The tuktuk had 31000km on the odometer. The only thing was that I had to adjust the clutch bowden cable after 600km.

We highly recommend ALMA Tours for your tuktuk rental. We drove over 2000km and had no problems. The team was always on standby for support and Sanju did all the preparations before to make our journey with the tuktuk hassle free. Best experience we have had travelling through Sri Lanka!
