They patiently explained to us as foreigners/tourists what is included in the dishes. The preparation took a little longer, which didn't bother us as Europeans, because preparing fresh food takes time. When we took the first bite we were amazed by the heat, the spices and the freshness of the food. Thanks to the kitchen and the service from Mr. Shrimps and his team.

Ordered a shrimp potato and sausage boil from the Mr. Shrimp in Belleglade $23.00. Where are the shrimp I counted 10 shrimp I left the establishment simply walked to my vehicle opened the container saw this sausage boil and went right back in and request the remainder of my shrimp or my money back and the manager looked me right in the eye accused me of eating the shrimp ( within less than 1 minute) and stated once the food leaves the building it’s not his problem. “NO REFUND!” I was at a lost for words - I told him have a good day and left him with his sausage boil and my $23.00 dollars. I will never spend another penny in this overpriced, under quality only getting business because this is a small town with no other options eatery ever again. Moral of the story check your food before you leave the building!

Krab salad was good with the rice and beans and I got a lot of shrimp with my bowl. I think the menu should say that there is an upcharge for certain proteins but that's my opinion.

Shrimp was good. Potatoes looked and tasted like they had been soaking for days. Service acted like they hated life. Wouldn't recommend. Go to bimini twist if you want quality seafood *edit* don't eat here unless you plan to sit in the bathroom for a long time

Seafood Boil, Shrimp, Conch, Fish, Octopus, Oysters . They have it all. Good Food, great flavor, definitely stop here and try this food. Its seems to be a local hot spot. I enjoyed it. I had the fish sandwich combo.

This place is paradise on earth 🌍, I been going there since 2015 I see the whole transformation, but one thing for sure the taste always the same and the energy of the staff always great 👍🏾. My review is quite small considering I only bought one item. Don't ask me why...but I just really wanted banana pudding. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I bought one from here. And let me tell you, was it yummy? Yes. Was it pudding goodness? Yes. Were the vanilla wafer cookies perfectly soft? Yes. Were the bananas ripened to perfection? Sadly no. There were no bananas in the banana pudding. 😕 Honestly that's the only downside, other than that, its a really good dessert. 😋

Wow Been coming here for years. The updates to the restaurant are amazing. If you get a chance look at the new art on plaza wall!!! Sick shark And by far this is The Mr. shrimp. (There are other locations ..but this one has the OG menu and some items you can't find at other locations !!!) Totally fam owned. It can be slow paced at times but it's a small town and food made fresh! Now for the food. My fav is half pound shrimp BG style which is spicy & buttery! Fried shrimp is amazing. No idea how the batter is made but i swear it's the only fried batter with this spice & delicious taste. CONCH SALAD. Don't question it. Just buy it. My dads fav. Hell eat it like a soup which is weird but hey. Marketplace style brings a whole new vibe too. Yummy market items you can't find in other places and the prices are good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and the drive to Belle glade is so beautiful. If ur lucky might see a gator on side of road chillin.

Just stopped for a quick snack. Fish tacos were fresh and wonderful. Conch fritters were fried perfectly and were loaded with conch. Well stocked, clean fish and shrimp counter. Many other things on the menu I would have loved to try.

My favorite place in the area! They have delicious bowls; each thing is cooked and seasoned PERFECTLY. I've gone several times and it's lovely every time! the creamy cilantro sauce is my favorite. I don't eat meat (I know, why is a vegan / vegetarian here... But hey! I live in a society and go where friends go! :D) and this place happily accommodates me every time~ They added a new bowl with plantains, which is awesome! All the bowls come with a lot of beans and other veggies so I don't feel anything lacking. The prices are really good here as well! Awesome deal! They use fiber bowls and plastic lids and plastic utensils. In terms of sustainability, I would prefer reusable dishware and utensils, but fiber bowls are cool! :)

A very pleasant find. Visiting family an hour or so away and drove over to Belle Glade for some time on Okeechobee and stopped here for a quick lunch. Nice solid local spot for a totaly no fuss or fancy seafood lunch. Will be back to pick up one of their "boils" for dinner

Its ok, they makes u wait to be served sometimes. The raise there prices too high for certain items for example the small lobster tails are 10.99 when u can get the same lobster tail from winn dixie for 5.99. They charge for cups when u buy seafoods with foodstamps.

When it became my turn, some miserable-looking middle-eastern dude with the thickest coke-bottle glasses on literally waited on a Spanish lady to walk in to look up. Then he served her, not me. I asked him why did he do that (although, I already saw my answer). He said something about her being a "lady". Since he don't see us as "customers", I walked out. "Customers" would make us equal, as consumers. By giving her a title, such as "lady" (which we don't know that. She was a female or woman, that's all we know) it allows him to rationalize being selective within himself. Sorry for the lessons on socialism. If you're black; they don't like you, they like your money. They could be feeding us ANYTHING. DON'T EAT HERE!

I am a shrimp lover and the shrimp here is delicious, but poor customer service. It was my first time here and the man taking my order did not help at all, instead he got frustrated that i could not hear him when he was mumbling. I gave him two twenties and he asked for the ten I had instead of taking my two twenties. I work in customer service/retail, YOU ACCEPT WHAT THE CUSTOMER GIVES YOU NOT DEMAND ANOTHER THING. Instead of telling me nicely that the ten would be best fitting for change he rolled his eyes bc once again I could barely hear him, and demanded the $10 as if I had taken it from him. I would have understood if i was short but i was giving him over what the cost was. He barely looked at me and was just plain out rude. This place needs to improve on customer service.

Food here is delicious. The place was remodeled and it looks very nice and a lot cleaner than before. The only downside that I noticed during this visit was that masks and other safety measures aren't really being enforced. I saw many people come in without masks or under their chin, including staff working. Other than that everything is great.

The food was AMAZING!!! went at lunch time, not too busy, got waited on fairly quickly, had so much food, I ate it for dinner also!! Not knowing where we were or anything about this establishment, was a little sceptical, but I'll tell you what, I'm looking forward to the NEXT away game in Muck city, Soo I can go back to Mr. Shrimp!! This place has very fresh shrimp and Seafood they'll even cook it for you I didn't let them cook anything for me but they have a really nice menu that I looked at while he was back it up my shrimp and lobster that I took home to cook myself I was actually surprised at how fresh the shrimp and lobster was great place to pick up stuff or have them cook for you and take home I'm pretty sure it's carry out only at this time but I would definitely recommend it
