    Being a local business owner, I realize the importance of having a good, respectful staff. We always take the absolute best care of our customers. This being said, I hesitate to make this post, however my daughter has been targeted twice this week at the Panera at Belleville Crossing across from the target store near Belleville west. The bottom line is this, twice this week she has gone through the drive up for an ice coffee, Both times she has had a black cricket in her drink. The 1st time being on Monday morning at 8:30am she thought was a fluke, but it happened again this morning at 8:30qm. She went inside and the manager gave her a refund on the drink. I called the store manager this evening as I learned of the event, and I was shut down. It’s pretty hard to know who is doing what when you travel the drive up, but make no mistake this doesn’t happen twice without intention. The store manager this evening pretty much said tough Luck! Go to a different location next time. That is customer service at its best Panera at Belleville Crossing. My intentions are not to damage the owner of this business, but to get their attention and to take forcible action against the cowardly actions of this or these individuals involved in such a gross, and intolerable action. Shame on you for damaging your employers business.

    I was just made aware of a situation at this facility where not once but twice this week a cricket was found in an iced coffee at this location. The management does not see this as a concern after reaching out so as a close family friend I though possibly the owner of the facility might see this and feel otherwise. You have the families contact information so if you have changed your mind after reading this let us know how we can work toward a resolution for the community and I will be happy to consider taking this down.

    This location is trash. They are constantly getting orders incorrect, they throw food in the bags without containers and by the time it’s delivered it’s all stuck to the napkins, and they always blame doordash for their mistakes. How is door dash responsible when the Panera workers are taping the bags shut? Own your mistakes and fix your store.

    The thing is, it's really too much for a sandwich. The upside is it's healthier than other options. The downside is I could make every bit of this at home for about 2 bucks. The atmosphere in here is great though. The location is away from the main road so traffic isn't bad.

    Went just for the recharge lemonade, which I love. Didn't like that there wasn't a cashier readily available. Took a moment for someone to check for customers before they realized there were multiple people waiting.

    I love the Belleville location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have the sip club membership and it's great. I highly recommend. The food can be a bit on the pricy side, but the sip club membership gives discounts and helps mitigate the cost a bit.

    Was so happy to moving in an area with easy access to Panera. I’ve heard food is better when you have to fight for, I’ll keep that in mind. Drive thru or delivery there is bound to be a problem. If you utilize the drive thru at the Belleville Crossing location rule of thumb - never order more than 3 menu items. Otherwise something will be missing - trust me it never fails. Requesting a delivery? Any requests after 5pm is taking a risk. Twice in one month my food was stolen. The first time Panera made things right, I was pleased and decided to continue doing business. The second time the store’s staff dropped the ball. The manager advise (paraphrasing) - because they’re app uses a third party delivery service (door dash) they’d have to contact their delivery vendor (I assume) to determine the best course of action regarding monetary compensation given this has happened twice. The manager assured me the food however would be remade and they’d get a “dasher” back within 20 mins. The said she’d call me back within 20 to pass down the resolution. Well 45 mins went by I called the store 2X no one will answer. So I get no food, no money back and an unnecessary trip to the store during the day to speak with someone that can at least provide a refund.

    This is the vanilla latte that I ordered and it is only half filled. It’s disappointing when you frequent a place 2-3 times a week and you don’t get the full product that you pay for. I will definitely open my drinks next time before getting to my destination so they can make it right.

    I give up. This location sucks and is likely mismanaged. I'm disappointed in my most recent order for delivery wasn't accuracy checked. I received the wrong sized French onion soup, which was also missing the cheese, croutons and side. My drink was wrong as well. Have also had issues in the past in the drive-thru. My last drive-thru order included a breakfast sandwich with avocado that was cement hard. While it's technically just 'fast food', it is on the more costly side (I paid about $30 for a bowl of soup, drink and cookie to be delivered - long day of driving at work and I wanted comfort food at any cost) and I would hope to receive a complete and accurate order. When I called the location to complain I was pretty much dismissed.

    If I could I would give it a zero for customer service. Rude workers. The manager would not allow a substitution on a you pick two. They were out of tomato soup and would not allow my husband to have the new sandwich that came with tomatoe soup and just substitute a different soup. I call that poor customer relations/service. What does a small cup of soup substitution cost Panera Bread, they were out of it so substitute. At 6:30 pm after a long day and they were out of a lot of items. I truly don't understand the big deal and the rude attitude of the manager.

    Just had the best dine in experience, largely due to Lorraine, who took my order. She immediately stopped what she was doing and greeted me warmly. She is very personable and professional. It was quite apparent to me that she was genuinely interested in my Panera experience. I took advantage of the 99 cent pastry deal. Lorraine, without me asking, wrapped it up in Saran wrap, to keep it fresh for tomorrow morning. My lunch order was accurate, delicious and piping hot! Well done! Thank you, Ron Frauenfelder.

    I extremely love the service Allen was excellent ,professional,went above the call. Kris was fast and attentive, making sure food was served timely and checking on everyone . Chi was a piece of Haven and the there was Brianna killing me with kindness . What a all-star team . I will be back. Oh I forget..the food so fresh

    Went in to order two salads to go poppyseed with chicken and chicken ceasar salad had neither dressing available so psid gir extra dressing but all were the fugi spple git to be first time ever going to a panera and had no salad dtessibg for the doecislty sslads i eould be sending staff to local grocery store to get several bottles they sale of panera salad dressing on top of thst, charged me extra fir the dressing i ended up taking bonus terrible service was no chicken at all on the chicken poppyseeds salad, just on chicken ceasar only last time I will ever return to the Belleville Panera

    Eat here at your own risk - the food is typically good, but unfortunately it's never dependable. I rarely order from here now because more often than not, there's something wrong with my order (items missing) or there's barely any meat on it (quite literally just a few shreds of chicken). For the price of the food, the quality should improve, but unfortunately it's consistently inconsistent. I will say though, the staff is usually friendly and their frosted cookies are always superb.

    I’ve been disappointed in the changes of their menu in recent years and hadn’t visited them as often as I use to. But I gave them another try this evening and I was not disappointed. I had a chicken chipotle avocado melt and it was delicious!

    8/19/2023... Today, I ordered "pick 2" (half salad w/chicken + half sandwich) NO CHICKEN ON THE SALAD. Six hours later, I ordered "pick 2" (half salad w/chicken + half sandwich) AGAIN NO CHICKEN ON THE SALAD!!!

    I did not have the chance to go inside, but I did use the drive thru and it was backed up because of lunch rush but it seemed to move pretty fast for the amount of people. The staff at the window were friendly. Food tasted the usual Panera taste!

    The food was good so was the service and atmosphere however the cost is not worth it. 22 dollars a person is insane. I could get much more for what I paid for or have a more eclectic experience for the money. They raised the prices, it's just too much for what you get.

    Hubby picked up two scrambled egg, bacon, and Swiss breakfast sandwiches this morning and we are very unimpressed. Barely any eggs, tiny pieces of bacon, so it was mostly bread. These sandwiches used to be big and delicious. Not anymore.

    I attempted to use drive thru @ 2pm this afternoon , and had a terrible experience with the clerk. She said there was only one choc. Chip bagel (not what I asked for) left, she didn’t sell pastries and no dressing for the salad.. WHAT???? She was rude, dismissive and zero helpful. I drove 11 minutes to the Fairview Heights store and got my full order of salad, 3 bagels & a lovely cookie. I was happy to play $21 dollars for the full order and excellent customer service.

    I have recently had some small mess ups, I believe more at the hands of the door dash driver than the restaurant, but my most recent order was wet from my soup and missing a 4pack of cinnamon rolls. When I called, the manager was extremely nice, listened to me, immediately remade my order, explained the door dash situation, and I had a hot, dry order delivered quickly with my cinnamon rolls!

    The coffee…doesn’t taste like coffee. I sporadically visited this Belleville location over the last 3 years (conveniently located) but every time I get coffee here, it just doesn’t taste good. I don’t think it’s stale or bad coffee batches; rather, I suspect it’s in the brewing process. My assumption is that the person brewing is missing or skipping steps. I’ve tried from the Colombian, Light and Hazelnut carafes and the taste is off on all. They all taste like either not enough coffee grounds are used in the making, or maybe coffee is being brewed with partial “recycle” grounds and same filter from the previous carafe. This location was the reason I cancelled my monthly coffee membership. I went in there today 11/19/2022 for a cup of light roast to-go and ended up pouring it out. Gas station coffee is more palatable.

    Food is basically what you'd expect from panera, but I just experienced a young guy working sandwich line (while in drive thru) handling food, his earbuds (from his ears), hat, and pulling up his sagging pants all with the same gloves. That makes me never want to go back, bc you cannot trust the integrity of the food. I guess thats what faith based blessings are for, though... 🤷🏽‍♂️

    I love panera so much and they're always amazing in-store, but they cannot be trusted for delivery. Every single time I get delivery from panera, something is made wrong or missing or just packaged stupid and gets damaged. How is it ok to half- fill a whole size salad? Or have a Flatbread pizza upside down (twice!)

    A bit pricey but very good food....31.00 for two sandwiches and 2 chips and two drinks....drinks are unlimited refills wit a large variety of choices....order at counter then wait for beeper to ring then pickup your food at kitchen counter....open kitchen so you can see meal preparation...very clean restaurant and restrooms...food was hot and delicious....employee Kris made our experience here exceptional....watched her work the room greeting customers and cleaning tables and taking empty dishes away when people are finished....did not know about Panera rewards card until she asked if we had one then went and got us a card....wow what a hard worker she is and such a sweet person....give her a raise...Panara is lucky to have such a dedicated employee...

    The vehicles in drive-thru moved at a steady pace. My breakfast sandwich was delicious and piping hot. Tiffany added to the experience by being so personable. It was quite apparent to me that she was genuinely interested in my drive-thru experience.

    If you are lucky enough they have what you want to order. Constantly "sold out" of simple items. Also, ever since they started the sip club, good luck finding any large cups at the restaurant. Finally, if you are fortunate enough to get the item you want, and a cup, you get to the soda machine and it doesn't work. All in all, it's just a poorly managed store and that's a shame, because I'm a fan of Panera.

    Fuji Sald is my favorite. The staff is always helpful and friendly but doesn't always listen. For example, today I ordered a 16oz coffee. When reviewing my order, the staff member read back "large coffee". I stated ,no, regular coffee. Staff acknowledged and after paying I was charged for a 20oz Large Coffee. I also asked 3 times for a water cup before I receive one. Not a huge deal, but annoying.

    Consistently bad service. Staff is friendly enough but that's about it. Our orders are always incorrect, missing items, given the wrong item, or things that we want left off are still included. I'm not exactly surprised when this happens at a place like McDonald's but I assumed a place like Panera would have a bit better quality control.

    Extremely disappointed in the quality of food here. I ordered a classic grilled cheese and I believe it had sat out for a while as the cheese was literally hard. I also ordered a bowl of tomato soup which tasted as though it was old as well. Do yourself a favor and drive to another location.
