Given what the community has been through the past few years they did very well, the staff is extremely helpful with any and all requests no matter how big or small. The food is amazing with outstanding views while sipping on a cocktail or skulling a local tusker beer. Location is central within walking distance to the local markets and restaurants.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Vila that is <$200AU a night and >$100 glorified backpackers in a central location your choices are really beween here and the Casino. i will list the good and the bad of our stay The Good - -View is outstanding -Location is central so at night you are in walking distance to all of the nightlife -The air conditioning worked -The studio apartment was spacious -Swimming pool area is nice and no one bothers you if you bring your own food or drinks. -The staff who cleaned the rooms were friendly and did a good job, the only ones we tipped. The Bad- -We stayed next door to a couple who smoked. Whenever we opened the door to our balcony to soak in the view or get some fresh air our room filled up with cig stench. -The breakfast/restaurant situation was bad. Your complimentary breakfast is a coffee (dont order the latte all the milk on the island is long life) a juice and your choice of weet bix and fruit or eggs on toast. You are going to get sick of either after a few days and have to pay $25+ each for breakfast. On Sunday the staff seemed resentful about working and all of the breakfasts took over 45 minutes to come out. After an hour we still didn't have our breakfast and walked out hungry. I asked to see the Manager but they don't work Sundays. We paid for dinner one time. The food was actually quite good but it was a bit expensive and we preferred to eat at the Reefers Rum bar about 500m up the road. -The air conditioner worked but made a heap of noise, so much that sometimes I had to switch it off or nto sleep. I asked them to have a look at it but it worked the same. eventually I worked out that if you thump it really hard in just the right spot it stops. Winning -The staff were friendly but not particularly effective. We asked them to make reservations or check on things and they didnt seem particularly fussed either way, like with the air conditioner. -Being close to the town centre means you are far away from the things you want to do during the day. There is no swimming in the ocean allowed on this side of the island so you have to get a taxi to Mele. Wherever you stay in Vila though you will need to get a Taxi so this isn't that big of a deal. Would we stay here again? Probably. I'm sure the casino has its own issues and if we happened to be next to non smokers or had a less noisy air conditioner we would have been much happier.

Food was exceptionally delicious. I am unable to finish my meals due to the fact that I am not sure how long my food will be served therefore have had something in my stomach before coming over for lunch.😋😌🤗 . Thanks again.

Review of the restaurant only. Great location on the water with a stunning view of the bay. Had the pizza and fried rice for lunch. Decent food with good service.

Chantilly's on the bay is great service is amazing food delicious kid friendly too I think it is very good for kids but also very good for adults too. Kids can have birthday party's and adults can enjoy the view and relax so I give it a 5/5. Nothing else to say so all I will say is amazing service amazing everything.

The pool was the best feature about it. There was one staff member, Jennifer who was a room cleaner who was the only one that spoke to us and was very helpful. There was also kayaks available to be used but we only found this out in the last 2 days of our stay because no one told us and they weren’t mentioned in the hotel book. Disliked · At first I thought it was reasonably priced however over our 10 night stay I really wish I booked elsewhere. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and sheets were scratchy. The balcony constantly had stagnant water around the edges and the room just did not look like the nice crisp white pictures on the website. Our shower head had very poor water flow and the toilet was not thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom sink splashed water at you when the tap is turned on and the best part is our ceiling fan/light had a mind of its own and would turn on and off whenever it wanted to. We did mention this to a staff member who said someone would look at it but it was never resolved because “they watched it and nothing happened” Some nights we would have to turn the light off 5-6 times before we gave up and slept without the ceiling fan at all. Great in a tropical location. We were waiting in our room for a tour one day and the fan turned itself on and off 3 times. The light on our balcony also did not work. Breakfast was included in our stay however we only had two options (eggs on toast or fruit and cereal) which by the end of 10 days we could barely stomach. At first the bread was nice and thick but then it was thin small slices which was always burnt. There was no elevator and stairs were dangerously slippery if you had wet feet. Absolute premium priced stay for a very mediocre experience I must say.

Review of restaurant only. Reasonable prices. Food was always good when we went. Great views. Bigfella burger one of the best I had on the island.

Only ate at the restaurant, but the meal was delicious, it was served by smiling personnel and the view of the bay is absolutely stunning ❤️

Average hotel with average rooms - there are better places to stay in Port Villa for the same price.

Chantilly's is a hidden gem that I recently discovered. The moment I walked in, I was immediately struck by the chic and spacious interior. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with comfortable seating, making it the perfect spot for a casual dinner or a get-together with friends. What really impressed me was the affordability of the menu. Despite the elegant ambiance, the prices were incredibly reasonable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes available. I ordered the nasi goreng, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were spot on, and the portion size was generous. The location of the restaurant is another strong point. Situated in a bustling area of town, it is easily accessible and has ample parking. The restaurant has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, which makes it perfect for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and friendly. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and able to provide recommendations. Overall, Chantilly's is a fantastic restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and a chic ambiance at an affordable price. It's a perfect spot to catch up with friends or have a romantic dinner with your significant other.

I’m giving 5 stars for the staff here. Unbelievable staff, very helpful and accommodating, so friendly! The rooms are average and probably not the best value for your money.

Great location, close to shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is a bit dated and mouldy in the bathroom, BUT, very clean and tidy, amazing view, that little beach next to Banyan beach bar is a bonus. Special thanks to Leesong, the cleaning lady for making our stay so comfortable, big thank you to Marika at the reception for being so resourceful and informative in answering all our questions about the town and the hotel. Remember to bring a pair of aqua shoes when visiting Port Vila.

Great hotel with gorgeous views. Beach bar next door is conveniently located too. Very clean rooms and a short walk into town. I’d definitely go back

Trust me guys, this place is absolutely horrible. All the other positive reviews they have on google are paid/fake reviews. I know this because I'm a web developer by profession. Me and my wife spent nearly $1000 AUDs for a room for 5 days and we got a terrible service. The staff speak friendly but I don't think they do their job properly. On the first day we had a pasta and a pizza from their restaurant and it was the worst ever. My 10 years old niece can make better pasta even though she not Italian. Don't let the photos fool you, those are old and they never give you a room like this. What a disappointment !!

As with all places visited at Port Vila, the staff were #1. Great friendly service. The rooms were very average and tired and in need of some renovations but the bed was comfortable and the shower worked ok... The location is good, short walk to the shops. They do a basic breakfast but it's good... and good coffee. Not worth the room rate though.

Small hotel but friendly staff, nice bay view. Great food. A great night beach bar. Rooms are small flat with kitchen inside, really well follow up by housekeeping team. Close to center and not far from airport.
