Over the past year and a half I have consistently received subpar to terrible service. Yesterday, Friday, I called in to make sure it's prescription would be ready. I was assured twice it would be ready before the provider left for the day as I called several hours in advance. Closing time comes and guess what? No one even opened my request. This happens all the time and even with medical documents for work. My job was threatened at a prior location because it took 3 weeks to get paperwork back and I had to call everyday and nothing was done. This is the best example of the extremely sad and unfortunate disconnect that exists in big corporations like CHI health. Today was the breaking point as I really needed this medication before the weekend and now I'm going to have to go to urgent care to take care of my needs and spend more unnecessary money on an appointment that I also don't need. I will never go back there and I highly suggest if you value quality care to go literally anywhere else.

I want to start off by saying that the nurses at the walk-in clinic were phenomenal. However; I cannot say the same about the doctor we saw. She had no bed side manner. After swabbing my two year old for flu and RSV, my daughter kept sneezing thus making it hard for the doctor to look in her ears. She literally told my daughter, mind you she is two years old, “Come on, I am trying to get through my shift!” I understand my daughter was the last patient of the day, but that should never affect the quality of service. My entire interaction with the doctor gave off a vibe of annoyance. Secondly, I was asked which pharmacy I wanted my prescription sent to. I gave them the pharmacy I wanted, handed a stack of papers, and told she would cough. Then I was sent on my way. I went to said pharmacy and was told it was sent to a different pharmacy. The pharmacy I wanted said they would transfer it. I went the next morning to get it and I was told it didn’t exist. I called the clinic three times only to be told the last time I called that a note was left saying the prescription was in the paperwork I was given and that the mother was specifically told that. That was not true. I have now spent the entire day on the phone with the pharmacy and the clinic trying to get my daughter her antibiotic. I am unimpressed with the doctor that treated my daughter and I will not choose to return in the future.

The office and nursing staff are wonderful. I can't say enough good things about the nurses here. I am a complex visit for the doctors, I understand that with the tremendous amounts of issues I have. But I have seen three doctors at the clinic over the last few years. They are great at telling me what's wrong, but not at helping finding the root cause, or guiding me to the right resources. There have been times that specialists have raised alarms by things they see in my chart, that the doctors at this clinic never even told me about. I will admit, I have quite a bit of questions, I think there is nothing wrong with that. Self advocating is necessary when you feel more is needed. But I have been made to feel like I am a nuisance instead of being cared for. I never had this issue in decades with Nebraska Medicine. But with my insurance, CHI is my only choice. If you have basic needs it's fine, but complex issue patients like me need more help, not distain. I was told I am only allowed to speak about one health issue per visit. Maybe if after years of complex issues, if we did a deep dive and try to find what's going on, I wouldn't have so many questions and needs. Sometimes things are unlikely and rare, but that doesn't mean they need to be automatically dismissed.

My children and I have been going to this clinic for years and up until recently I really liked it. Our doctor and his nurse are great, the OB/GYNs we’ve dealt here have been great. However, lately the scheduling people I’ve had to deal with have been horrible. They don’t listen and get rude when you’re just trying to schedule appointments in the time frame that you were told by one of their doctors. As much as I like our doctor and his nurse, if this is what I’m going to have to deal with when scheduling with this clinic I will have to seriously consider finding a new clinic. It’s just not worth being treated that way when you call to schedule a medical appointment.

I made an appointment to have my hand check out to get an x-ray. I work in the building. They left a vm that the appointment was ready between the vm and me getting downstairs it took 2 minutes and they had already given my room away to another patient , I then waited another 20 mins and still no one came to get me. This is not good patient care. Some of the front staff can also be very rude as if the patient is bothering them.

The doctors and nurses have always been excellent but the staff behind the counter has finally made me look for a new doctor. Yesterday I called to pay off a bill, waited a full half hour on hold, which I wasn’t mad about at the time because everywhere is understaffed, then when someone finally picked up I asked to pay my bill and without saying anything else he put me back on hold for 10 minutes, then he sent my call to another service to pay my bill. While sitting on hold for this new line I decided to drive all the way to the facility and when I walked in nobody was there, the whole staff was available. I was still on hold and I showed the woman at the counter that and they didn’t really care. I’d NEVER been sent to a third party to pay a bill but it was mostly the callousness of the staff that was frustrating. I would look for a doctor with staff that treats you like a person and not a number, this place has gotten worse as the years have gone by and for me it’s time to find somewhere that cares more. My total hold time yesterday was 1 hour 8 minutes. Instead of just taking my card over the phone they would rather you wait that long.

Going here was a huge mistake. I had a 20 minute conversation and got very overcharged from what I was told the charge would be. They disapproved my dispute and then my financial aid. Now they won't even just let me pay the bill, I have to keep jumping through hoops and I just want it to be done.

The billing department blames the the secretaries who record keep your insurance but the secretaries blame the billing department so basically no one is held accountable for any of their foolishness but you have to bite the bill and bullets all the same... 😠 Totally failed at diagnosing and treating my herniated disc issue. They kept on prolonging the diagnosis so as to mooch off from insurance as much as they can. The diagnosis could have been easily done with an MRI but that would have meant me getting treated and not giving them more business. Unhapp...
