Decent middle-high end seafood restaurant that's located across the street from Bellevue Square Mall. It was very convenient to just call and meet up with the crew after an afternoon of shopping. A simple walk across Bellevue Way and you're there. Reservations at Cheesecake Factory was booked until 930pm, so we tried out Duke's instead. We had to wait a few minutes but was soon ushered to our table. The decor was nice and our group table had a nice window view of the mall and the busy Bellevue Way Street. Nice of them to prepare a special birthday plate for the birthday boy.

Extremely underwhelming, overpriced for not good food. The fish is overcooked, the calamari is soggy, and I've had better coconut shrimp from the frozen packets that you get at costco. The only redeeming dish that they have is the bacon wrapped scallop, and at least the atmosphere here was not bad. I also did not mind the bread, but I would not return to this resturant.

I really liked this location the best out of all the ones I’ve been to. The food was executed nicely and it was very delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.

They used to be my go to seafood restaurant in a Bellevue before COVID19. Unfortunately the changes made to the menu and the loss of my favorite items off of it have sent me away. Sadly what is left is not as appealing. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world 🌎

Overall the food was pretty good! The crab cake and scallops were excellent. The prawns were good but not amazing. Portion sizes aren’t the biggest for how pricey things were. Free bread was included and the service was really great!

The chioppino has a wide variety of ingredients including salmon, prawns, crab but it does not have clam or mussels. The amount of soup is not as large as I like. The broth is a bit too thick. Overall, the chioppino is not the best that I have had. The clam chowders are excellent and are the signature dishes.

Rude hostesses. The food was awful. I had the crab salad… the lettuce was the super cheap lettuce from a grocery store, it was SO SOGGY. The dressing (strawberry vinaigrette) was horrible. The crab tasted old or out of a can. I paid $30 for a salad I can make better at home! Horrible location and kitchen!

We love to visit Duke’s for dinner during the Snowflake Lane Parade. If you make a reservation you can enjoy a great meal and watch the entire parade from a window table. It’s such a fun, and warm, way to enjoy the festivities! Tonight we tried the maple bacon seafood bites, Parmesan crusted halibut, ribs, and mixed seafood platter. Everyone loved their food and the service was great.

Stopped in for dinner after a movie. We were seated quickly. After oysters we had the scallops with pumpkin ravioli. Scallops were cooked perfectly. The wasabi and shitaki burger was a good recommendation by our server Shawna. The pier pie is a must try. Overall great service and food. That's what keeps us coming back.

My first experience at Duke's seafood chain. Was not disappointed. The famous chowder was delicious. Other menu items were fresh and service was great. Could see myself stopping in for a cup of chowder on occasion.

Great ambience for a dinner place. We got a table with the view of the sunset and the service was excellent. The service began with us getting a table on short notice on a Saturday night. The lady who took our call and the lady who was the hostess were both excellent and made our experience start off on a very positive note. The food was great, especially the fish and chips. The tacos were good, but not much of flavor on the fish albeit the tortillas wrap and salsa was great. Our waiter was excellent and perfect on everything. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

I’m still thinking about our dinner days later!! I had researched restaurants in Bellevue before our trip, and this stuck out! Quality ingredients and 100% sustainable seafood was the reason we chose here! We didn’t have a reservation but the hostess was so nice and waited about 20 minutes. The warm sourdough that came out prior to our meals was a nice delicious touch. Our waiter Zach was so helpful in choosing what to get. He recommended the crab cakes (97% crab) since they have won the best the pas two years - the lemon zest aioli was the finishing touch! And absolutely delicious. My husband got the Off the Hook stuffed salmon - and this was cooked to perfection! I’m not big on salmon but this was so good! We would highly recommend this restaurant and dishes!

We came in for a later lunch and were seated right away in a booth in the bar area. It was fairly busy, but not crazy. Our waitress was very friendly and really stayed on top of filling our drinks, answering questions and checking in on us. Our orders came out pretty quickly and were really good. No complaints on the food, just really quality ingredients and flavor (see more comments on the pictures). The price was a little steep for lunch, but we felt the quality was definitely there. We don’t live in town, but my parents do and I would recommend it to them for sure.

TL:DR - Good but mysterious. Ask about your sides before finalizing your order. This is the kind of place that charges for the bread but makes it seem like an accident. The menu doesn't tell you what comes on the side and you are rarely presented with an option. That being said, the food is well made, and a little pricey. Good for a working lunch but slightly wrong for a planned event.

Reminded me of an IHOP for seafood. Great service, standardized menu items and presentations, fish place vibes and decor, and a family friendly place. The fish tacos we got were a good size, but contained somewhat unseasoned, sad bits of rockfish sleeping alongside shreds of cabbage. The fried fish was okay, but again not thrilling or extra anything. Just standard. Even the sorbet was nice, but nondescript. I had no clue what flavor it was because I said bring me any one. Nice presentation of it, fantastic service, clean place, just sort of too bland for me. If you want fish food or chowder that will not offend, Dukes is the place. I like it okay. You might also, especially if you want service staff who have obviously been trained and know how to do their job. For that alone it is happiness.

The oysters were great, they only had 2 varieties when we went but I loved both and the cucumber ice they serve with it adds to the freshness! The lobster mobster chowder deserves special mention, it was one of the more flavorful chowders I've had. That being said, I have to mention that the price is way too high for the portions, and the scallops definitely didn't feel fresh. I might go here again just for the oysters and lobster mobster chowder. The seafood combination worth $40 had one flat crab cake, 3 small shrimps and 3 small scallops. Rest of it was just kinda unseasoned potatoes and edamame.

This was my first visit to Duke's and it won't be my last. Service was top notch, and the meal was excellent. I started with their award winning chowder, and it did not disappoint. I also ordered a platter with crab cake, scallops and prawns. Everything was well seasoned and prepared. The meal came with complimentary, warm sourdough which was a great touch.

We had a waiter in training and he was confident. If he didn’t know the answer to our question he had a seasoned wait staff with him. She was excellent! Ordered the Prawn, Scallop & Crab Uncaked Mixed Grill. The scallops is what I went to Duke for. Although the didn’t come with large scallops (they were 3 small ones on a pretty wooden skewer) but it was worth every bite. It was soft, but not undercooked. Tasty! Also ordered a small bowl of clam chowder. It wasn’t salty. It’s was just right. I prefer large potatoes chunky clam chowder but theirs had tiny potatoes (it was a little too chopped for my preference) but still really good. I think it’s overpriced for the amount though. We ordered a small bowl and shared it as an appetizer, which was okay because they also gave complimentary sourdough bread and butter. That was warm and also the inside was fluffy! The waitress told us they get the sourdough made from a local bakery and then Dukes bakes it fresh. The rest of my meal for the Prawn, Scallop & Crab… Grill was good. Nothing to complain about. It came with some homemade sauce. A red one (a little on the sweet side) and a green pesto one (I asked for extra pesto because it was delicious). I used it mostly to dip my organic baby roasted red potatoes in it. The crab cake that it came with was also really good. Not oily. Just enough crisp breading. And they didn’t skimp on putting actual crab meat in it. It wasn’t chunky crab though. It was more on the shredded side. My husband ordered the Duke Cheeseburger (grass fed beef) and it was perfect because it wasn’t salty. The cheese was Tilamook extra sharp white cheddar and they make their own mayo! The bun is a locally made brioche bun that was soft but with a touch of toasty-ness to it. Bonus for cleanliness: The restroom was clean and I love the modern design. I also love their paper towels. As well as it being single stalls.

Lovely seafood restaurant in Bellevue, Lincoln Square South. We stopped by for a quick lunch. They have posted at the front a full menu board of types of oysters available each day. We chose the Dungeness crab cake served with northwest chowder.. Fantastic. My partner had the 3 course of chowder salad and fish and chips. We both enjoyed our meals. To top our experiences we had an amazing server, pleasant, prompt and helpful. We shall return Dukes, we appreciate this type of no frills, efficient and pleasant dining experience.

We went here for Valentine’s dinner and it was our first time to any of the locations. The restaurant did not disappoint. The service was top notch from friendly recommendations on wine and menu items to perfectly timed table visits. We greatly enjoyed a sampling of the calamari for an appetizer and our entrees were delicious. The salmon I had (pictured below) fell apart from the tenderness and the char was perfect. We cannot wait to revisit and sample more of the menu items in the future. We were told when we moved here Duke’s was the place to visit and everyone was correct.

I recently dined at Duke's Seafood in Bellevue, Washington and I was blown away by the entire experience! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The warm sourdough bread and creamy butter were the perfect way to begin the meal. The bread was soft and fluffy with a slightly crispy crust, and the butter was rich and buttery. The pesto salmon was one of the highlights of the meal. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the pesto sauce was fresh and flavorful. I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the care that went into preparing the dish. The clam chowder was also fantastic. The broth was rich and creamy with a good balance of flavors. The clams were plump and briny, and the potatoes were soft and comforting. To finish things off, the Marion Berry dessert with ice cream was the perfect way to end the meal. The berries were juicy and sweet, and the ice cream was creamy and refreshing. Last but not least, I have to mention the friendly and professional staff at Duke's Seafood. They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Overall, I would give Duke's Seafood a solid five stars. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic seafood meal in Bellevue!

A fine restaurant to go to for seafood. Their clam chowder is one of the best I've had in Washington. The fish tacos, even though they come wrapped in a regular tortilla, the tortilla is toasted nicely and the flavor was amazing. The marmalade on then gives it a pleasant sweet to the savory flavor, yum! And even though I'm from Maryland, the crab cake was actually quite decent, very happy with my meal.

Thought I reviewed this place earlier, guess not! Been here a couple times with family and it's certainly on the expensive side of what we'd usually go for when dining out, but we support the sustainable seafood cause. Meal was very delicious, last time we had clam chowder, macadamia crusted halibut, and 2 rockfish tacos. The tacos are pretty big and everything was delicious!

Very good seafood dishes. The dishes were expensive, BUT only because it's sustainable, wild caught seafood, which in my opinion is worth the price as the taste is significantly different to me than farmed raised. The lobster pernod chowder was delicious, one of the best chowder I've had. It was creamy, not salty, and seasoned well with a good amount of lobster. The Dungeness crab un-caked was filled with crab, very little breading, and served with an amazing aioli sauce and roasted potatoes and zucchini. The Pope's seafood cioppino was filled with various seafood - prawns, halibut, cod, crab - exactly as described on the menu. I did waffle between giving them a 4 star or 5 star, only because we did have a half dozen oysters on the half shell that I have had better at a place in Olympia, but it could be my preference in type, size and taste, and overall, it was still fresh and good.

I came here for the happy hour. The food was good overall and the staffs were attentive. I strongly recommend their clam chowder. The coconut prawns weren’t really fresh. And their crab dip was good although a little cheesy to me.

We were so looking forward to eating here and it definitely looked like a great place. However after making a reservation for 8 PM and arriving on time they told us they were closing early and we could only be seated if we promised to order in 5 minutes and finish eating in 35 minutes. In all fairness the manager said they were trying to send the staff home early due to inclement weather but they should atleast have not taken the reservation or called me to say they couldn't honor it. Can't blame it all on the weather.

Excellent service. Absolutely incredible clam chowder. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The cocktail sauce and lime aioli that came with the oysters were fabulous. Although, the oysters themselves were so good you didn't even need it. Top notch. Highly recommend!

Delicious seafood and great customer service. Would give a 5 star if their wine list was a bit longer. Also, what happened to cod fish, mostly salmon, crab, oyster and halibut.

Duke's is one of my favorite restaurants in the Seattle area. No matter which one you visit, you're gonna have a good time. My favorites are the Stuffed Halibut and the Coco Loco prawns, and you can't forget to try the Dukes-specific Woodford whiskey. Sit at the bar at the Bellevue location and say hi to the bartenders. They're the best, and will take good care of you.

Good food everytime, my salad is super tasty. The marrionberry pie with ice cream is out of this world. It's only $10 for a huuuge warm pie with 2 big scoops of vanilla ice cream on top. We ordered this everytime we dine here. This time we came to celebrate my aunt's birthday, it was a rather quieter and lovely Sunday evening. We sat at a table with a large window view overlooking Bellevue Square. Our server Zach was very nice and accommodating. Wish they had more vegetarian options aside from the soup. I ordered a salad with seafood skewers to change things up but gave my skewers to others. They have a membership for frequent customers, we check in everytime we dine to get coupons sent to our email. On our birthdays, the birthday person get 1 free entrée, or everyone gets a free dessert. The private room can be reserved for events ahead of time.
