Our first visit. We came in on a Saturday night around 7:45. We were greatly warmly right away and sat. They gave us a basket of garlic bread poeces. We decided to get the fried Mozarella appetizer which comes covered in meat sauce, we also got one with sauce on the side, they were yummy. We also ordered the seafood cioppino, eggplant parmesan and chicken Alfredo. All the meals came with minestrone soup and green salad with creamy Italian dressing. I wasn't a fan of the eggplant, it was too bland. The Fettuccine sauce almost had a gritty texture. Like the sauce had broke, the waitress explained that it was more than usual cheese so it can have the appearance of chunky. We will definitely be back for the pizza and dessrt.

We’re craving for lasagna and voila! Here it is soo delicious. Will definitely come back here. Garlic bread is good to. I like the ambiance. This is a place where I can really eat by myself and hang out a bit. Love it!!

Honestly, there just aren't that many legit old-school Italian places around anymore. This is the type of place that you feel like you stepped into a restaurant scene from the Godfather, and they treat you like that too--every meal is at least a 3-course meal, they treat you like family, the food is 'no funny business', and always winds up being quite the value when you factor in: -- They always start you with a salad -- Wine is decent and reasonably priced -- Good appetizers, if you have the appetite to include them -- Entrees so legit they make Olive Garden seem silly -- They always finish you with a round of spumoni ice cream for dessert, no charge Honestly, this is the best place to have a legit Italian date: three courses of food and a few glasses of wine with authentic atmosphere and get out of there for under $100 for the night. Hard to do that within a 10 mile radius. I never leave disappointed.

Very delicious and authentic Italian food. I ordered the "Ono with pasta" and it was delicious. My wife ordered a lasagna and my daughter a fettuccini alfredo with chicken. The y absolutely loved it. To me this was a very fancy place but its casual. Only thing is when I was looking them up the online, the menu did not reflect the current menu. Otherwise its a nice place to bring a date.

The portions are so incredibly small for the price. I've never seen any Italian grandma skimp out on pasta, so I don't get the Italian connection that they are trying to create. Portions need to increase or prices should be cut in half. Child sized.

This is definitely a place for old.people. 90 percent of people eating here have grey hair. Food is OK. Old school.red sauce on everything. Prices are not bad. Service is slowww. Would I go back? No.

Sauce was a little on the sweet side for my taste and it was chunky. Plenty of sauce and cheese on the pizza and thicker crust than I prefer. Overall a great pie, if that's how you like yours. Very nice and romantic setting inside.

Really cute restaurant with pictures of their family I’m assuming around the dining area. Service is great and the food is even better. Each entree comes with soup and salad so bring your appetite. The marinara/meat sauce is amazing.

Dinner chicken parmesan was excellent. Dinner included soup, salad, spaghetti, and garlic bread. All delicious. Also got appetizer, breaded fried artichoke hearts that were awesome. My companion got Sicilian style pepperoni and jalapeño pizza, which was a good sized, generous, and delicious portion. Filled us up well. Staff was cordial, attentive, and professional. Family feel to restaurant. Great.

The food is always delicious, I ordered the shrimp special and it's one of my favorites . For the wine selection, I'd recommend the bottle of Rutherford Hill. The soup & salad is great, service is always welcoming and amazing, staffs are very attentive, I will definitely recommend this family owned restaurant to my friends and family!

Driving through LA and found this gem! Fabulous ambiance, friendly staff and food that exceeded our expectations! If you live around here and want a great Italian place then this is it! Photo is of my husband guarding his lasagna from me. 🤣

I have been going there for years. It's my favorite local italian place to eat. It give me the feeling like grandma is the kitchen cooking just for me. The service is always great. Actually Grandma use to make the desert for years until lately. Marie took over now at she's awesome at it.

The restaurant was clean and the staff was great, but the food was terrible. I ordered Shrimp scampi. It had no flavor and was very over cooked.... it was like chewing on rubber bands. The garlic bread was just toast, no garlic. The soup was good, but cold. Salad was good. I won't be going back.

Service was excellent, our Server was Jose and he timed our dishes perfectly. He kept our drinks full and took our plates away for the next course. Dinner included soup, salad and bread, food was fresh and served hot. Pizza was delicious, seafood fettuccine was delicious and chicken Alfredo. They boxed the left overs and we really enjoyed our experience. Will definitely return. Great job Jose!

Stumbled in after trying multiple other restaurants, and being deflected by traffic, long waits, etc, etc and picked this homey hole-in-the-wall for dinner. Great find - all the food appeared fresh and homemade. Minestrone soup was delicious (and I'm not usually a fan), antipasto was great, and my chicken marsala was worth licking the plate. Non-chain for the win! Stop in if you have the chance!

We took my granddaughter there to celebrate her birthday; she wanted pizza. We made the right choice. You walk in and you feel like you have stepped back in time to a real New York or Boston La Familia run Italian Restaurant. It’s not cheesy looking, no pun intended but it’s cozy so cozy you almost wish for a rainy evening as you walk in to smell the garlic cooking. Mmmm 😋 just like my moms house on a Sunday dinner. We had Pizza, salad and calamari…they were off the hook. The pizzas were fantastic made the right way. The crusts both thin and thick crust had great flavor and cooked to perfection. The thick crust gets that caramely cheesy on the edges….Yummalicious!!! Omg the Italian dressing they make is so good it’s almost as good as I make at home. There bread is fantastic. Oh and dip it in their red sauce. Aaahh. Yes!!! Oh I cannot forget to mention the absolute on point perfect service. Thank you Marino’s for making my granddaughters birthday so special she loved it; we loved it. She may be only 9 but when you’re Italian you’re born a true foody. Especially in this family. 🎂💕💕

Jose was great! Wasn't our waiter, Sandra was. Jose needs to be a waiter more them a Busboy. Food was great! Our waitress was excellent. My other Love that passed Jeff used to work for the owner at Fidlers Three. He would be proud. A few things changed there. But we understand it's tough staying in business. Give Jose a chance as a waiter Tom. He is good! Had a lovely date night there!

This location is close to home and years ago had a friend who raved about this location so I thought let me try. Well the service over the phone was pleasant the food not at all. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo (3 orders) and a seafood fettuccine, no meal was flavored, the sause was thick almost like cottage cheese unbearable for me and the seafood fettuccine was done with red sauce (different from what I'm used to). Unfortunately we order close to closing and once we got home they were closed. I called they answered and offered to have us come in tomorrow for something else but I honestly don't want to try anything else and want my $57 back. Doesn't seem like they're big on refunds. Needless to say I will not be going back and $57 just went down the drain because none of us ate more than a bite

My husband and I are new to Bellflower and what a gem this place is. The service, the food, the desert and wine ALL THAT!!! We will be coming back for sure! AND MARIE IS AMAZING!!! Marie had the most amazing recommendations. We loved the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake and lemon ricotta cake. Both are a must try because we couldn’t decide which was better. THANK YOU.
