I don't know where to start. If you care about your health, I would avoid this place at all costs. THEY DON'T USE GLOVES AT ALL! And I've been watching them all this time, no one has washed their hands. They wiped their hands on their clothes, touched door handles and cash, and immediately grabbed waffles! And also they forgot to add strawberries ($2.5 extra) and made me feel bad for asking for those.

Don't walk, RUN to this funky find! With an otterlope as a mascot, you know it's going to be fun. In Bellingham again and needed lunch, and went here as I had promised myself on my last visit. Only 14 choices - 9 sweet, 5 savory. I ordered the Morning Glory, took the dinosaur number holder and grabbed a seat. Everything is made to order, so don't be in a hurry; trust me, it's worth the wait. I don't know how they make their waffle batter, but they are lightest, crispiest waffles I've ever had, with just a hint of sweetness. Made a great counterpoint to the salty ham and tangy aioli (y'all really need to bottle and sell it). Curated selection of adult bevvies, and plenty of non-adult options to wash it all down with.

A fun waffle place with quirky artistry as the decor theme. The savory waffles (Loxness pictured)are hearty and the sweet waffles are rich desserts, perfect for sharing. If you order the Loxness, get the Cholula with it. It needs the acidity and heat of the Cholula. The sweet waffles would be best with fresh fruit to add some lightness. The service was moderately quick - waffles take time. We spent about $18 a person. We'll be back!

Went here on my 21st, had my first legal drink here! (A very, very tasty mimosa) I’m super excited to see how Sweet as Waffles grows in presence downtown. They are a SORELY needed niche—tasty, quick, and late night. I got the Canadian quesadilla with bacon, pesto cream cheese, and cheddar. It was so, so good. Not greasy at all, and super filling. The maple syrup is real, too, which is like the cherry on top. The food comes with little dinosaurs which is adorable. I think one of the owners was there and he thanked us for coming in, seemed super sweet. We will absolutely be coming back, might be a new downtown staple when we’re hungry. The pic attached doesn’t do the food justice. Would consider Sweet as Waffles a new must try.

Don’t discredit the savory waffles! I was skeptical, but I just had the pleasure of enjoying a BLT Ayyyye and it was delicious. They said it’s rotating off the menu soon so I highly recommend giving it a whirl before it’s gone!

The best waffles I have ever had in my life (and that's a lot of waffles)! Crispy and light, tender, just perfect. We got two to share, a basic waffle with maple syrup, strawberries and whipped cream... Excellent choice to show off their mastery of waffles, btw....and the Morning Glory savory waffle with an add-on of their homemade candy bacon. Both were fabulous. The owners, Nate and Graham, and their staff, are very friendly and enthusiastic. And did I mention they have draft beer? Don't think twice, just go. This will be your new favorite place.

Stumbled upon this today. Not sure how I hadn't heard about it until now. Definitely will be back for more. Great food, great atmosphere, has nice humor in their products and good artwork. Will be back!

Absolutely amazing! First time in and my sister and I tried a few different waffles from the menu. The sweet styles were not overdone, just good rich flavors. For the savory I had the Canadian Quesadilla which has everything I love in a single bite! Very highly recommend!

Amazingly light yet crispy waffles and the topping/filling options are exceedingly delicious! Best waffles I've had since Belgium. The options for both sweet and savory hit the spot. Definitely going to be a regular here!

Genuinely delicious and very creative waffles. I got the Canadian quesadilla and the special lemon curd waffle and both were over the top and super good. The portions were big and everything was pretty reasonably priced. Definitely check it out!

Tried their waffles for the first time. They were delicious! The waffles were light and fluffy, and their toppings were a fresh, creative spin on waffles. My wife had Da Goat and I had their special, Loxness Monster. They were so good, we got dessert. Definitely a go to place!

Seriously so good! Gluten free and yummy! They had vegan options too. We'll be back and I'm telling everyone. We had egg-zeplin and apple bottom pants.
