A charming bistro with delicious breakfast options from around the world. A good mix of healthy and sinful dishes that are perfectly portioned. It's a small space that isn't open often, or for very long, but it's worth planning for. In a fully packed restaurant the food arrived quickly, at the same time, and was plated elegantly and was delicious. The food is simple, but it is prepared with care and attention to detail. All ingredients were high quality, from the naturally-sweet apricot jam to the incredible yogurt and olive oil in the çılbır. I wouldn't shy away from the simpler menu options - they are anything but basic. The restaurant is run by a small team that constantly rotates through each other's roles. Everyone supporting everyone else resulted in smooth service. The final result is a bistro that punches far above its weight. I would recommend you try it. And compliment the cooks :)

By Far the best crepes in Bellingham and one of the best I have tried on US soil. Breakfast was fresh with great flavor and homemade feel. You can definitely see the effort and Love the owner puts into her food and restaurant. Our vacation highlight!

OMG this place was AMAZING. The coffee was great (they use stumptown) & the crepes were to die for!! Unfortunately, I had different expectations for my sandwich, it was 90% arugula and maybe less than 3oz of smoked salmon, so I essentially had a salad with bread, would not order that again, but the crepes made up for it! My mom got one with Brie, prosciutto, caramelized onions and arugula and then we shared the blueberry, mascarpone & lemon curd one and it was to die for!! We would definitely come back! They also have fresh squeezed juice- yum!!

Stopped in for some of the great food served at Magdalena's. Service and atmosphere was super, definitely recommended for your visit next time in town. For dessert recomend the traditional Polish naleśniki (see photo). Thanks and see you next time. W.

It's not everywhere that you can get great pierogi but this is one of the places that you can. The breakfast pierogi with potatoes and farmers cheese is served with such good bacon crumbles and over easy eggs. The yolks made a delightful sauce. We also got the mushroom and sauerkraut that were next level. The caramelized onions lifted this dish!

Delicious. Perhaps order using the number system provided next to each selection on the menu otherwise, as I did, you might experience a dish you didn't expect. After reviewing the menu again there are three Italian crepes very similarly worded and unduly repetitious for waitstaff to decipher customer intent. The brie and prosciutto apple honey salad crepe is delicious and lighter than the other Italian crepes but next door is a bakery that more than made up for any resultant hunger pangs. If you order from the pierogi menu you will definitely be content with portion though the crispy fresh and perfectly cooked delights are available for take home as well.

We absolutely loved Magdalena’s (and definitely will come back). Staff were incredibly nice, but the chef was accommodating to our friend who had some allergies and the crepes were delightful. Also, the coffee was very yummy! Overall, a wonderful place.

the best breakfast place in Bellingham (and maybe the state!) - authentic European cuisine, delicious light crepes (sweet & savory) and great coffee. The pierogies are also not to be missed. We love whenever Magdalena’s is open!

Wonderful food. This is a review of our waitress. We met up for a friends birthday. We get together a couple times a year and these outings are when we catch up so we like to order lots of food and catch up. Apparently we were taking too long for out waitress who proceeded to tell the cook (Magdalena?) that we needed to go so they could have the table. She made no attempt to be discreet about this conversations we could understand if it was busy but there were multiple tables open and nobody waiting for a four top when we realized we were passive aggressively being asked to leave. Do better.

We had a wonderful breakfast at Magdalena. Our order included house special crepes, Shakshuka and vegetarian pierogis, all of which were incredible. My partner ordered #4 Savory Crepe which was a miss for him. Service was great! The reason for 4 stars is because we found the drinks to be overpriced. A small glass of fresh orange juice for $7, a small kids hot chocolate for $6.. our bill was nearly $200. Overall, highly recommend for the food!

Quaint and cozy Polish cafe with an interesting menu and a lovely atmosphere. Food is homey and prepared in an open kitchen. Love the vibe and their crepes! Perfect for a rainy morning brunch.

Excellent freshly made crepes. I had a savory crepe with buckwheat flour that they grind in house. Very friendly service.

Came close to closing time and they welcomed and seated us. Had the savory crepe #3 with egg, pesto, burrata, asparagus, arugula and tomatoes. It was loaded with veggies and was delicious. Would absolutely come back to try more dishes.

We popped in for lunch and had a great meal, a fresh made sorrel soup, and perfectly cooked cheese and potato pierogi with bacon sprinkles, an egg and a side of pork loin. Great ingredients, well presented. If you're in Fairhaven you should come here and try the crepes or the pierogi 🥟🥟
