Seriously! Do not stay here. We book a room for 2 weeks here. When we got to the room, there were toe nail clippings on the bed, and some kind of stain on the bed covering that resembled the stain on Monica Lawinsky's dress. The room refrigerator had some kind of goo on the handle, and a smell that made me immediately regret my decision to open it. We canceled our reservation and went to the Four points hotel about 3 miles away. $5 more/night but man, what a difference. Like night and day. Comfort inn in Bellingham was by far the grossest hotel experience I've ever had!

Yuk! Absolutely YUK! Where to even begin. This “hotel” is absolutely disgusting! First, you’ll be greeted by an elevator with gross carpet that doesn’t look like it’s been vacuumed this century and has the distinct aroma of cat urine. The hall carpets were no better and the halls reeked of cigarette smoke and probably other fine toxins. Upon entering our room we noticed the entire shower curtain, rod and all, laying on the floor of the shower. The shower itself was disgusting. The room was fairly spacious, but again, dirty carpet and very dusty. This is a neglected hotel. Look elsewhere!

Where to start? First room smelled. No baseboard trim. Broken drapes hanging down. Missing handle on the window. Asked for another room. This room was better but had no towel racks or toilet paper holder. Was on first floor facing woods and a homeless camp. Homeless man was staring in our window one afternoon. Grounds were littered and carpets hadn't been vacuumed for a long time. Hotel was dirty. Many shady looking people and dogs in hallways and there was a lot of dog barking. A police car was driving around the hotel. We were told the hotel housed some homeless but we did not verify with management. Stayed here four years ago and it was wonderful. Has gone downhill. It appears to be under construction. Young guy at the front desk was nice. Continental breakfast is very good. Perhaps the hotel can hire a security guard. Travelers would certainly feel safer. Would not stay here again.

Worst hotel ever! Literally only thing missing was open needles in the stair well. I was met with unsupervised children playing in the hallway, bags of garbage piled up. The one adult I ran into while promptly exiting was clearly on a mission for the next fix. When I rolled in one of the vagrant men in the parking lot was clearly on his way to a K hole.. Welcome to WA where tax money buys hotels for homeless people to live in. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!! Zero stars not to mention it was a huge fight to get my money back and they held $60 for cancellation.

I am absolutely astounded by the terrible service here. Upon arrival, we were given the keys to room. To start off, we were told that the sauna, pool and workout station were unavailable as they were “under renovation”. This was unfortunate as we were planning on using the facilities during our stay. However, was not too big of an issue. However, once we were in the elevator, the elevator doors were ridiculously unsanitary with grease and such on the elevator doors. As soon as we walked towards our room the ice machine had a sign stating the machine was broken, right beside the door there was a room which had garbage all over the room with bags of garbage, cardboards and such. We were already weary of how sanitary our stay would be due to these instances as soon as we arrived. When we got to our room, the room reeked of urine, there was a white substance spread across the fridge which was right by the door, the bed was not made from the previous individuals who stayed at the unit, the microwave was unplugged and placed on the floor, the sheets were on the chair, the windows were wide open, dirt and drywall debris on the floor by the night stand and the telephone plug laying on the bed. This was very unsanitary and absurd. We immediately left the room and spoke to the front desk about what we had walked into. They stated that we would be offered a new room or a refund. According to one of the employees the room was “under renovation” although we were given the keys to this unit. Considering how unsanitary the circumstances were in this hotel, we believed it would be best to request a refund. However, we were still charged for our stay. We asked to speak to a manager about our concerns, but were unable to speak to them as they stated they were “in and out and do not have an extension or email to reach them at.” I am very unimpressed by their services and lack of sanitation. I am still waiting to hear back for our refund.

Very good service and good small breakfast. But this is definitely a low end truckers hotel. And I'm a trucker. Rooms are very outdated and not very clean. Bed slept good though. Price was too high for the rooms. All rooms are pet friendly. Easy to find . I won't be back sorry. Very helpful at front desk.

Renovating so pool and spa closed. 1st room door wouldn't latch, front desk was nice and came up with keys to a new room. Bathroom lighting is nightlight level, can't see a thing. Only light is in the mirror and heat lamp which is too hot to have on. Shower head has no pressure, no way to adjust and how hard is it to get a hot shower. Temp levels were cold, degree warmer than cold and Luke warm. Also supposed to be a non smoking hotel but could smell cigarette smoke as soon as you get off elevator on 3rd floor. Long term resident on the same floor keeps door open permanently for in amd out traffic plus cooking fish so whole floor smelled. This hotel seemed heavy on the long term tenants, and unfortunately they were always tweaking or stumbling around. Front desk guy and woman who maintained the breakfast were great. Only positives here: bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and the 2 staff I interacted with were nice. Will no longer stay at a comfort inn.

The carpet was extremely dirty. Our white socks were black. The fridge had been leaking, but I think because it was previously turned off. They had a steam cleaner come in and soak up the water and couple days of towels dried it up. The glass window was broken and had duct tape on it. The chair was badly stained. No blow dryer and iron board was missing. Which we got when asked. We had only one hanger and they said they had no more in the motel. The shower faucet fell off when we took a shower. Pool and gym were closed. The towel racks and toilet paper holder were missing. On the positive side the staff was very friendly and doing the best they could. I think the3y don't have enough staff or budge to run the motel. Hope management reads this and helps this potential nice motel.

Great location, loved the 12pm check out time, really helped with three kids! And the workers were amazing :) price wasn't horrible either! HOWEVER! Carpet was dirty, coffee was left in the pot, hair was on the pillows, dust was EVERYWHERE and things were falling apart in the room (heater cover, fridge cabinet, door needed force to close). Will come back tho when we need a place to stay :)

Good accomodations for the price-some wear and tear, but overall clean and decent, quiet... nice pool and breakfast. Secure parking lot-manager questioned my friend waiting to pick me up! So yeah they are aware of who is in the lot, so your car will be fine.

Stayed here 3 separate times recently 1st time was good Since then, I have had approximately a 6 week gap between stays both times the pool has not been working, which is not advertised online. I would not have stayed Also, the rooms are a construction site with masking tape and over spray all kver the hotel

I booked this hotel because it had indoor pool but found out that they didn't repair the pool since covid. Kids were disappointed. Ok, that's fine then. When we got into our room around 8pm, tv was broken. I suppose we could do without tv. I was tired so i wanted go to bed anyways . kids took showers. They find some hair on the new towels Thats not all. The drain ifrom the bathroom sink was leaking. The place was disgusting but it was late, we didn't bother going to front desk. .i would never come here again. By the way, baseboard was falling off .

Would give it zero stars if I could. We prepaid for room with two beds and there was no such room when we got there. They apparently gave away our room and would not give us two rooms. We had three adults and a baby and had to find another hotel at midnight after driving 5 hours. Based on other reviews maybe that was a good thing. It took a month for them to agree to a refund.

I spent 3½ months at the Bellingham Comfort Inn while construction was going on at my home. I primarily use a wheelchair for getting around though I still can walk a little. The people, staff and most guests, were universally kind and pleasant. The housekeeping staff was efficient and helpful. Toward the end of my stay management hired a new housekeeper who didn't get enough instruction on how to manage her chores. That's a substantial failing but still bedding was regularly changed, fresh towels provided, trash removed and all with polite efficiency. The breakfast served at Comfort Inn, Bellingham, is plentiful, varied and far better than I expected in an economy motel. All in all, Bellingham's Comfort Innis a great place to stay short or long term. The management genuinely cares about its guests which counts for a great deal in my book.

We got 2 rooms 1 smelled like dog feet the other smelled super musty. Both coffee pots were nasty dirty one still had the coffee pod in there growing mold & taking on a life of its own. People living in their cars & rummaging through the garbage in their parking lot. No one walks the property. Luckily we always bring our own bedding next time I'm bringing my keurig! They charged our cards all wrong paid cash for snacks & they also charged it to the room?! Maybe re-think this one guys..

The experience at this property was beyond disappointing. The common areas were absolutely filthy. My room smelled of urine - in the front seating area. The pool and work out rooms were closed. I saw rats playing in the front flower beds. The entire hotel smelled of something akin to dirty socks. I did not feel safe. At night, some visitors were out of control loud - screaming, yelling, banging into walls. I believe this property is being used as section 8 housing. I also believe that full paying customers should be made aware of this prior to booking. When I complained to management, I got a canned email response. I DO NOT recommend this property and will avoid Comfort Inn in the future - sad, I used to think they offered a good value.

First we got a room with nothing. No sheets, towels, bedding nothing. Moved us to a not so great room. They are in the middle of remodeling. Then the new key would not work. It was odd. Some other woman claimed to be my aunt and almost charged her room to my aunt's card. The attendant assumed she was my aunt because we called and said we were on our way a bit early. He asked her if she was my aunt when she walked in and she said yes. Bad experience all around. No coffee for breakfast had to wait for new pot both mornings. No pancakes second morning. It was sad all the way around. And it was Easter Sunday. Oh and they put us in a room next to some horribly loud generator or something and had to move us after we complained at 3am, but we got moved in the Afternoon. I'm hoping my aunt got a refund or some compensation

Extremely dirty!! Our room was dusty, the carpet looked like it hasn't been vacuumed in weeks, smelled like smoke, bug in the bathroom, food crumbs all over the chair, the mini fridge smelled so horrible that I had to open the window to completely air out the room. Definitely people living at this hotel and so much garbage in the parking lot. The front desk was covered in dust and floors were gross. Definitely won't be staying here again.
