J’s Kitchen was so delicious! The Chicken Guisando Bowl was so good. The rice was super flavorful and the chicken and potatoes had amazing spices. Great staff and it’s nice supporting a local business. I hear the Tres Leches cake was a family recipe! 10/10 recommend. ⭐️

Amazing everything. It's a nice change of pace for our area. The staff are top notch, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The food is fresh and yummy. It's comforting in the same way as a warm drink and blanket on a rainy day. I had the Cubano, and it was filling, with a generous portion of meat (especially in comparison to other restaurants), and the flavors were balanced perfectly.

Food was delicious. Im puerto rican and wasn’t able to find much in the area since moving here so this restaurant is a godsend. The veggie guisado was amazing! Vegan friendly as well

Omg. Amazing. Having had many cubanos and having spent lots of time in Puerto Rico, I am THRILLED to have such an amazing place in town!! Food was incredible and staff are so great - and clearly passionate about creating good food. Will definitely be a local.

Awesome experience overall. I had the Chicken Guisado bowl and it was delicious! The tostones were so good, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was great and the servers were very friendly. Overall I had a very good experience here and I can't wait to come back with friends.

Highly recommend the Arroz con Gandules Bowl with pernil and garlic aioli. What a great new restaurant and exactly what Fairhaven needed. Fun atmosphere, delicious food, and reasonable prices.

Everything about J’s was amazing. The food genuinely tasted like home cooked Puerto Rican meals. My family and I are Hispanic and from Miami so we have tasted a lot of Caribbean food throughout the years. This place feels like home from the music, the dominoes on the table, to the food. This is it.

This place is amazing! I read in a previous review that it did not compare to Sol Food from San Rafael, CA. I grew up going to Sol Food and know how amazing it is. So, I was hesitant to dine here. However, after coming here and eating here, I must say that was the best darn Cubano I’ve ever had. Sure, the menu wasn’t as huge as I grew up with but the food was incredible and the vibe is so nice and calm and staff was very nice. I definitely look forward to coming back :)
