Completely amazing!! It feels like heaven on earth. First when I heard about it, I really thought it was an old regular house. But when you enter, you feel this amazing energy and the aesthetic of the house is wonderful. Santiago and Gloria (the owners) are really kind people. Their hospitality was great, they treated us well and talked with us. I really recommend people to go there!

Only saw it from the outside, but had a lovely chat with the neighbor from the red house who often sits outside here on the stone benches. It looks lovely inside, although I only saw the kitchen, with stone floors, a Christ statue, stained glass windows, miniature Eiffel tower and castle figurines. Truly a feat to create!

Incredible place! The details in the house are mind blowing and really beautiful. So cool to see true creativity in action. Also I don’t know much Spanish and Gloria was very patient with me. Gracias!

One of the most beautiful and creative houses I have ever seen. A life long project built by a self-taught dreamer named Santiago Rojas. Every room seems like a piece of art. So much attention to detail and imaginative use of materials which he recycled from Envigado, Medellín, Guatapé and various parts of Colombia. Has to be seen to really appreciate it but many of the photos seen here are great. Santiago died 4 months ago and Gloria Ochoa, his wife and muse, very warm and gracious, leads the tour(in Spanish) throughout the house describing the materials, how they were obtained and some of his ideas for creating such a magical place. A fascinating story in itself along with many anecdotes about Santiago and their family. Just one glance from outside lets you that once you step inside you will be in a different world. It's a 1-2 hour tour which will not disappoint. To truly appreciate it, I would recommend an understanding of Spanish or bring a friend to translate for you. It will be a beautiful experience to share and talk about long after you leave.

Such an amazing place to visit, fascinating but also off the usual tourist trail. We were just the two of us visiting, being shown around by the other herself, for whom the house was built. It's in Spanish only, but if you don't speak it, just come and admire the craftsmanship and creativity of her now deceased husband.

Amazing house that was built with passion, love, patience, and ambitions. Santiago is one of the most creative and humble individuals I’ve ever met in my life. I felt like I was at home visiting this place and their hospitality is beyond incredible. Santiago has been working for 32 years everyday and still working as we speak. Pictures do no justice so don’t forget to actually visit this historical landmark! Did I mention that Pablo Escobar asked Santiago to park his cars at his lot back in the days?! He didn’t just do it but asked THE MAN! El Respeto!
