Warm atmosphere, friendly service, hearty meals at great prices. What more can you ask for? Oh yes - bog portions! Also loved the home made treats on sale. Will certainly visit here again.

The cake is delicious. The owners are kind, and a considerable effort has been made to turn what is essentially a church hall entrance into a homely coffee shop. They do, do takeaways - a delicious home-made alternative to the local takeaways establishments. Some lovely locally sourced rusks, jams and fudge for sale.

Once in a while a rare gem comes along which normally takes you for surprise. Kruis Koffie ( coffee for those that do not speak Afrikaans ) I was asked out for lunch and this - Kruis Koffie was a total experience. I had the Pork neck chop with mash and Pumpkin Fitters. For those that don't know a pumpkin fritter is, it's mashed pumpkin- sometimes butternut - done with a South African flavour. It was fantastic and even brought back memories of my childhood. The chop was totally boneless. Well worth the money @ R85.00 If you're hungry and need a well prepared home meal, Then Kruis Koffie is the right place for you.

Like having breakfast and other meals there. Place has homey atmosphere. Food always delicious and tasty. "Staff" very friendly and efficient! Tuesdays and Thursdays baked bread is on sale as well.

Marvelous, simple setting with great food. Andra is a wonderful & ever-present host making sure that patrons are well looked after with good coffee & eats.
