The food was good, not the freshest, the restaurant is a little loud we're all shouting. Service was tops and we didn't wait long, will be back.

When I complained once to many times about bad service to me the owner banned me from going back. To make things even more bad he banned my friend from going back because he uses to much sugar

Mugg and bean will always fit your pocket... my go to is the chicken mayo sandwich. So fulfilling every time and at every Mugg and bean.

I came into m&b. I had to wait 10 Min before the table was cleaned when I asked the waiter for help he told me to wait. I ordered a Americano with cold milk. I recieved a black Americano. I am waiting another 20 Min but your waiter don't know how to serve. I am sitting with my menus and everytime I call him he ignores me. What an great service.

The quality and quantity of food is quite satisfactory for a brunch speciality restaurant. The sauce for the South African Eggs Benedict meal was exceptional in bringing it together and left you wanting more. Service was fast left little room for improvement. However, the error in payment could have been avoided on the part of waiter if he had listened carefully or confirmed my choice before proceeding with payment.

Mugg and bean is a great place for teens to sit at. Its very aesthetic and clean. I really enjoyed the food here. This place is definitely recommended by me!

Worst experience ever. Went there to get my son a nice meal and just to relax, just to see bugs all over my table,,,when i went to cancel my order, the waiter rudely said that im not allowed to. I said that it was only 5 minutes ago and that it wont be a problem to send that portion out with someone elses food, as it hasnt been touched and probably didnt even start with it yet. And he continued to say no. I said that im a client and refuse to eat at a place infested with bugs, and he just ignored me! How disrespectful and humiliating. Will never go there again. I recommend going to starbucks or any other place except mug and bean. You will just be wadting your time. Horrible place.

Generally great and friendly staff. Service is quick and efficient and food arrived pretty quickly as well - and we went at lunch time. I always love how their menu changes often with new meals to suit all dietary needs. Food is tasty and generous.

For some odd reason the Carrot Cake and Mugg and Bean Tygervalley is so bad they use icing sugar for the topping, unlike the Cape Gate branch which always have the most delicious carrot cake, please find the recipe from the Cape Gate branch. So disappointed.

Very good service. Food is a bit expensive and not really the quality you would expect. The chips actually looked stale, but the breakfast was good.

M&B always have good coffee and serving sizes are generous. One muffin is enough for two people. The waiter that servered me was excellent.

Easy to access from entrance 8. Very vibey atmosphere. Disappointed with the service, and the waiter seemed stretched between having too many tables, his attention was definitely not focused ( in between glancing at his cell phone). Breakfast didn't take too long, and it was tasty.... but waiting for the bill ruined the experience. This restaurant could run at full capacity most of the time...if they can get their staff sorted. Maybe management should concentrate on spending more time in this area. ( its definitely not nice to start your day paying to be frustrated).

Service was quite good. We were there for a business meeting and could conduct it without struggling. Waiter was friendly and courteous. Food quality was good and tasty. They were very accommodating. When we walked in and asked for a table for 5 they made a quick arrangement with the tables and we were sorted.

I was reminded today why I stopped going to Mugg & Bean. Very noisy, the big window at the back is right where people smoke, but those were not the reasons. We received the same lack of service and meh food which is what drove me away in the first place. If you want good coffee I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. I have some fond memories of Mugg & Bean and would love to rave about the place, but unfortunately I can’t.

My favourite place to go get breakfast. The Cappuccino with Chicken Mayo Toastie is my favourite combo. I can also highly recommend the Eggs Benedict!

What a great experience. Must be one of the better Mugg & Beans. After a long drought found a Mugg & Bean that make savory muffins. Awesome so fresh beautifully presented as were our coffee milkshakes. Service was impeccable.

We recently dropped by Mugg & Bean for a quick breakfast, and it was a lively and enjoyable experience. The place was buzzing with activity, and everyone seemed to be having a great time, both with each other and the food.

This is our go to place for me and my daughter. Just to chat and touch base and have some alone girltime. We usually share a piece of Red Velvet cheese cake, but they dont have that anymore.😭 That was our favourite. We now share a piece of chocolate cake.

We had an extremely friendly waitron, and my slice of lemon meringue was divine, as was my friend's chocolate cake. And our coffee was just what was needed after a Monday.They are also supporting a great initiative this month, helping kids who are fighting cancer (see the attached photo)

I came here early in the morning for a coffee only to see that there was dust everywhere. I asked the waiter to bring me apricot jam and she brought me marmalade that spoiled my entire scones. Please train your staff the difference between apricot jam and marmalade. It's not nice to waste your entire scone because of a mistake your waiter made.

On the 28th December 23...myself and my wife had a bad experience with Mug & Bean Tygervally. When we got to the main entrance the Waiter informed us that they were offline and we had to have cash. So we walked to get cash etc... When we got back to M&B we sat and waited for service for almost 20 minutes due to them being offline and short of staff. Finally Waiter came and took our order. I ordered a bottomless coffee and the Apple French toast. The Apple French Toas was so hard and dry I couldn't even order another coffee because the Waiter keep on walking past our table saying he'll come back now. We ended asking up asking for the bill not finishing what we ordered and also to top it off another Waiter walked past our table with a Card Machine, and that just tipped us over. We had to walk to go an withdraw cash and here this Waiter pass us with Card Machine. M&B Tygervally has never given such poor service. The Waiter that always assist us named Dylan has given excellent service for the years we've been going to M&B Tygervally. Unfortunately for us he was off duty and it seems whenever he's off duty nothing seems to run smoothly at M&B Tygervally. My opinion is that Dylan should be made Manager seeing he knows or understand customer service.

Good experience, waiters/waitresses were polite and kind. Very helpful. Eggs and bacon was cooked well.

Three of us ordered 2 times the bottomless watermelon drink and a milkshake and waited over 15 minutes for these. Then we ordered 3 burgers, only 2 arrived after another 20 mins. The waitron was visibly unhappy to have to order another burger in the kitchen. The burgers were great though, as usual, and so were the drinks.

On the 11 Jan 2023 we went to M&B. Greeted friendly and seated. Ordered food. But it took very long. Waiters had to be called to ask for updates or to check on our orders. Food were great though.

Best Eggs Benedict I've had in a while. Very busy though I managed to find a table for two. This was around 10am. It was almost completely full. So mind your time when you go. Other than that, the food and service were superb. It's definitely a great meeting spot for clients in the Northern Suburbs.

A great place to chill, have breakfast and lunch. There are single tables for you to do work with charging docks which is amazing!

Mugg and Bean Tygervalley is a beautiful place near the entrance of the Mall. Very big place. They have many waiters serving the customers. You will find quality breakfast, good coffee, good tea etc here. Upmarket shop in Tygervalley Mall

Good atmosphere and good food, sadly when I was there my burger was a bit disappointing compared to other M&B... next time I will up the rating if things are done a bit better.

The staff is friendly, the food is good. But it's toooo noisy. Before they renovated it was good, but now, above all the chatter of people (that somehow seems extra loud and stays inside) the barista makes these loud noises almost every 2seconds, I have no idea what they are doing, but the kitchen and barista is so clamorous. I don't know what they can do to make it better, but I hope they try :)
