On my way to the airport after a week working in Chicago, I had to get one more dose of Chicago food and saw this place so I made a u-turn. WOW! Over 50 years in business, multiple award winner. Very busy even mid afternoon. Owner served me, told him to feed me whatever. Did not disappoint! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #chicagodog #italianbeef

I was disgusted and felt as though I was being discriminated against because of the lack of care they gave about my service animal. I presented my card as proof of having my dog registered as a service animal. The card explicitly says allowed to be in restaurants with no restrictions. By these actions the workers took, they violated the laws I’m legally protected by.

Mickey's is a huge part of the past to Bellwood, Berkeley and Hillside kids! What an awesome memory, the place still looks the same and the dogs are so worth the trip from wherever it is you moved away to! We got 2 doggy deals and stuffed them in our faces while watching the Manheim Rd. traffic! Yum!

Grew Up going here. Great Hotdogs! 🌭 Sorry to see how much Price went up. And now Not even include a drink with the 2 "Hot Dog Special". Yeah. That hurt. Used to be Way More Fries with it too!! Absolutely delicious. Hot dogs and Italian beef were exactly as advertised and very fairly priced. The staff were very nice. This is not a sit down spot, but no ceremony is required. Enjoy!

Bring a lap tray to eat in the car, stand and eat at their window counters or take it to go, either way you will enjoy their seasoned beef or sausage sandwich! Better yet make it a combo!!

Mickey’s is perfect for a quick bite. they have shoestring fries, my fave, especially when well done. when no one feels like making dinner, or we are out and about and need something fast and simple, Mickey’s is it!

Food was great at one point of time. Although, I had to deal with sexual harassment just to place an order, I still was a patron here. This last time was the last time. Food was horrible and the attitude of the staff made it worse.

This was the most nastiest food I’ve ever had in my life and I was really shocked when I walked in and I didn’t see any gloves on the workers hands, so after that they are touching the cash register and making people food WITHOUT GLOVES and the owner or some fat person there tried to get smart with my dad so guys don’t go there because it’s bad. I didn’t even want to rate this a one but I had to🤮

Been around forever place that has GREAT food and runs like a well oiled machine. Staff engages with everyone that walks in as if they are all old friends. Super fun experience, this will for sure become one of my regular stops.

Mickeys has been a stple in my family for over 40 years. I ate a beef from there yesterday and it was not very good. the old school menu board has now been replaced with a neon sign. it's lost its neighborhood charm. sad.

This place is legendary. I have been coming here since 1997 and it was a neighborhood icon back then as well. A dog with fries with everything on it, simply nothing better.

We went here every day of our visit! They made my kids like relish. Seriously, we didn't need to visit Portillos after coming here.

Great service, Fast in and out, in minutes. Best food around, burgers taste like off the grill at home, and no mc donalds stuff where it all tastes the same. Add the friendly faces, good prices and youll wish ypu could of said it was 10 stars.

a neighborhood staple. I always get the deep fried polish with grilled onions. service is top tier. salt, pepper and mild sauce on the fries please!

I have wonderful memories of Mickey's, since the early 70s. As a boy, I would play hockey after school at the Boys Club (only boys back then) next door and go to Mickey's after for some Italian Beef, Polish or Hot Dogs! I was in town (11/2022) and decided to stop by for lunch. The food did not taste the same. Not exactly bad, but just different. Cleanliness was also questionable. I'll probably not return to Mickey's the next time I'm in town. Besides, a Portillo's opened in the city I now live in!!!

I've driven past this place my entire life and finally stopped in. Hands down one of the best most flavorful beef sandwich I've had.

I grew up on Mickey’s and have since moved away. But 40 + years later still as good or better than back in the day. Fries are a little short because I ate over 1/2 before I got to my moms. 2 thumbs up 👍👍! Italian ice was SO good too!

The Beef is perfect, just enough seasoning, dipped sweet and cheese just right for me! I love the fries, the RC and the whole vibe... I've tried many beef sandwiches, but Mickey's is my favorite and my son likes the hotdogs, I just can't decide on VP or Bellwood, close call haha, keep the tradition going! So Good! 😋
