Felt good to be back home from Texas and show some of my co-workers that great Chicago food we missing out on down there. Can’t wait till they expand more! 10/10 I recommend!

The French fries taste like they been sitting there since yesterday. The chicken taste like it’s been cooked in old grease. The cat fish fillets taste like plastic. They are also heavy hand on the lemon pepper season. Take it easy with the seasoning geez and change your oil out. Waste of money. Go to the J&J on 9th ave in Broadview!

I like this j&js because they have combo meals for under $10. I had catfish nuggets and chicken wings and fries $9.99. Would have given them 5 stars but they put too much mild sauce on my food

Store and people are very good but the neighborhood is questionable got to be careful of your surroundings

I come here after work to get my freshly cook wings or the special catfish dinner for $7.99. It’s good !! Come check them out!

I'm back‼️. This WAS my go to place‼️ Their Quality began fading pre - pandemic (old grease, 'funny' spell on wings & catfish) so I went elsewhere. But NOW, the wings & fries were amazing‼️. I've re- added JJ 2 my contacts.

I when there because people said there fus is good. Place dirty, oil is old fish over cooked wouldn't go back again it just suck. People just don't know what good food is.

Fast service food fresh and flavorful. Great prices good portions for your money.

The Fish and Shrimps were really fresh and fried well the Service was A-1 I Will Recommended to my friend and family

I'm not sure if there is a new owner or what's happening but this location is horrible now. The food tastes bad from the old grease they use. Fries are horrible and they are extremely stingy with mild sauce even if you ask for it to be put on your food. Avoid this location if you can

I'm giving them only three stars because the food was actually really good but don't even try to phone in the order because no one ever answers and even though the website says they're open till 12am you may go up there at 10:30 pm and they'll be closed. It's happened to me twice.

All of our food was over cooked. My husband ordered salmon and Buffalo fish. I ordered gizzard and okra. Waste of money because we lived 30min away from restaurant. Once we got home to open up food we were both disappointed and threw out the food.

It has wonderful tasting food, and it is fresh! They also have fresh salads done daily, until they run out,!!

The lady that worked there to take the order was too busy talking to another customer didn't even realize I was there to place an order. I guess only like African-American customers

Had the wings and gizzards and the wings were good. The gizzards were too lightly coated and very tough to eat.

Worse chicken I’ve had in a while , dry recooked chicken they had you just know , they could had a good customer work for uchicago med and we always order food , there loss cooking stale chicken ridiculous shame on these cooks ppl spend their hard earned money

This used too be really good. I went today and it was bad. The breading was different. The fries were not even cooked all the way. Very disappointed 😞

Was looking for a late night (10:30pm) meal 🤫 after leaving the comedy show at Credit Union 1 arena aka UIC arena. Almost gave up as most restaurants on the way home were closed. Drove down Mannheim to see if this location was open. Well looky looky...Open! Went in the place was clean, greeted promptly, service was good, food cooked fresh/hot. Ordered the 6 wing dinner and large catfish steak dinner. Definitely enough for two people to get a tasty fill. The wings were small which was aesthetically disappointing BUT which I appreciated because I don't like those oversize steroid wings. The fish was on point. Overall...satisfied.

Extremely slow waited more than 45 minutes to get waited on. Restaurant needs to do better with customers who are in person and customer who are on line.

I ordered there twice. And was disappointed 😭. The fish tasted like it’s old and refried they breading on it tasted stale and the fries tasted old and stale like they red topped it 3 times and it just say out. Nice people but there food is not worth it I paid $14 for a large catfish and it was terrible. Everything

This is my second time coming here on the last year. The first time my perch was fried too hard. This time it was was and crispy but mushy on the inside. Sorry I won't be back. Save the fake replies and my concern is similar to others reviews here. This is disgusting and if I get sick. I'll definitely call the department of public health. This is just gross. These people must not eat the food the cook clearly. Never returning to this location.
